I thought I would stop by here, as the gas prices were super cheap. The Apple Pay straight up doesn't work. They should put signs on the machines if that's the case. I tried three of the pumps, and everything was fine each time I tried--until I actually started pumping gas. Each time it would fill for like two seconds, and then stop, which was so incredibly annoying. It only filled like $2 worth of gas each time (see photo). This is my usual gas station which is fairly priced and competitive compared to the other gas stations in the area. The staff is always smiling and always nice to me. I am always there buying snacks, ice cream, drinks and gas. The variety of ice cream they have is perfect! I can always count on Rotten Robbie for having paletas, ice cream sundaes, popsicles, ice cream bars and so much more especially during these super hot days. I actually like the Rotten Robbie store more than 7-Eleven. It is super stocked with lots of better snacks, better deals and friendly service. Most of the time, there's always a pump available but every now and then, it is quite busy that there is a small wait which isn't too bad even though it is on busy Hamilton avenue. Highly recommend getting your gas and snacks here if you're in the area. read more

Our town in Los banos wants to charge is 5.41 up to 6 dollars a gallon for gas in which rotten robbie only is charging 5.29 a gallon. If u use their app u can save an additional .10 cents a gallon. There are times when Yelp needs a sixth star to rate a truly excellent business. I work near this Rotten Robbie and get my gas and lunch items there as often as I can. The couple that runs the place are quiet, always seem busy but not too busy too busy to answer a question or help out for anything I might need. I was having a bad day when getting my lunch there one day, and asked where I might find salt. The husband replied "We do not have any salt". I grumbled under my breath in complaint "what is the point of selling hard boiled eggs if you have no salt for them....". He actually heard me and had salt available near the condiments the next week I came back. I did not have hard boiled eggs at the register since I knew they did not have salt. He came from the back room to stop me long enough to tell me he now had salt and where to find it. That is customer service perfected. This couple should charge for lessons for other "convenience stores" to learn how to get repeat business and a happy customer. My hats off to Rotten Robbies in Campbell. The best gas prices in Campbell and I think everyone knows it...this place gets pretty packed. They recently revamped their entire pump interface - new credit card reader and a mini TV (like Shell? Chevron? does it). They have a great selection of snacks and an amazing beer closet. The only con is that sometimes the employees are kind of surly and that's a nice way of putting it. Fortunately I rarely interact with them (only if I'm buying snacks!), so only minus one star :) read more

I went in to pay cash for gas and gave the sales lady $40 and she was on the phone but still responded. Went out to my car to fill my tank and no gas came out. When I went back in to tell the sales lady that it wasn't working, she said she had never seen me before and that I didn't pay. I told her several times that I just came in and she was on the phone, but still took my money. She refused to give me gas. I should have reported her to the police. Never pay cash if the person working is on the phone. They are crooks and liars here, get gas elsewhere. read more

Definitely one of the cheapest places in the area to get gas. I've been coming to this station since I was 16. Friendly customer service inside. Open fairly late and usually not crowded. It's pretty easy in and out. 2 entrances: one on Hamilton and one on on N. Central. The take most major credit cards and the price you see is the price you pay. Hooray! read more

Consistantly the cheapest gas station in Campbell after Arco (dirtier gasoline). You pay the same whether cash or credit (getting rare in this day & age) The staff are super friendly super. It gets a bit busy at rush hour since its close to the 880 freeway, but worth it based on the price of the gas. read more

This is my primary stop for sundries since it's so close to my house. I will usually go here as a back up stop for gas though as the Arco down the street is almost always cheaper. Hot dogs and taquitos are good for a cheap quick snack. Most staff are friendly and they do accept cash, credit, and debit. The Good: Clean gas station, plenty of parking, conveniently located by the 17 freeway, great coffee selection ('tis why I go here), they have fee pies with your coffee purchase although I never take it...... The staff is friendly and they even sell kerosene!!! The Bad: I would have to say they don't provide raw sugar. I know, you're probably thinking why does this guy care but I enjoy these scrumptious packets of goodness. My third gas place. It is a major pain to get in and out of this station at certain times of the day as cars are coming from two directions and it is not that large to begin with. After the "fall" of USA Gas down the street into tiered pricing for cash vs. credit, this has become a better station for me to fill up at. This particular Rotten Robbie appears to have better prices than its sister stations on Saratoga further north of this location. Not being open 24 hours, a rather busy location close to the freeway, and not always being on the way to Chris's place or to another destination for both of us are the only drawbacks for my visits to this Rotten Robbie. read more

Cheap gas, clean station, friendly employees. I buy gas here and also use it as my "neighborhood store." They have a giant walk-in fridge full of your favorite beers. And a plethora of snacks, from ice cream to hot dogs. The employees always greet me with a smile and a hello. So happy to have this station so close to home. read more
