Straight forward with a quote, you can buy the part and he can install and just pay the labor. For what is my times worth, it comes out that his quote is lower than anticipated. Best thing, he does it right. Any shop wants to keep their customer and i know i will be going there for a long time. He didn't hear the problem, he didn't hear the question...(whether they even WORKED on things like that there), he wouldn't talk AT ALL to me or answer a simple question regarding their services prior to HIM running diagnostics for $189 (!!!!) & being paid for that simple chore regardless of the outcome which I could do myself with a $25 gadget from Amazon & recently have had done free & politely at Autozone! I have thoughts on this exchange... I don't believe that is their/his actual policy. I feel it was ageism & a blatant attempt to SCAM the ELDERLY (ME). Yesterday they decided to tow my vehicle with notification. They like us have signs about towing. However we put notes on cars before towing them the next time it happens. I have NEVER had a note on my car saying the rules changed. I would have never parked there had I known they would tow my car. I am a veteran and follow the rules, and would happily parked elsewhere. It cost me $410 to get my car this morning. I don't t know about you but I don't have that just lying around. I will never give them my business nor would I recommend them, I totally boycott them. Don't think anything could improve my opinion unless they'd like to reimburse me.
