I have a lifted jeep that's not 7 feet and even though the car wash clearance clearly states 7 feet the cashier won't let me buy a wash, don't waste your time going here they don't want your service there is way better gas services in the area. read more

This car wash ATE my tire! The manager Steve claimed no responsibility and was extremely rude and dismissive. He insisted that it had never happened before, which clearly is not the case. The facility is dangerous and clearly punctured my sidewall. He also took pictures of the inside and outside of my car despite my protests , proceeded to berate me and tried to change my tire. I had already called roadside assistance. He said my tire was bald, but the technician from AAA insisted that the poor design was at fault and my tire had plenty of tread. The gas price are very good and when the car wash works it is ok. The dryer turns off to quickly and does not dry your completely. The people who work there are rude and I mean very rude! They are always eating when you are try to speak to them. I notice there is a lot of one star ratings. read more

To my misfortune, thanks to the perpetual state of 101S and the construction along Burlingame, the car tyre suffered a puncture and the air escaped in seconds. So I was forced to drive to a "safe" location and remain safe. But I didn't feel safe after having parked my car at this Valero. The guy (Mr. Valero, with his pants above his waist) in that lil "room" is JUST THE MOST BITTER person I've ever come across! AAA didn't show up for an entire hour and 17minutes, so this "owner" starts yelling at me and said I'm interrupting his business by parking at his gas station - I was parked all the way to the side!! Even a Ford 350 could drive in and out and around! He was just the meanest man, yelling at one and all who drove into the car wash too! He even laughed because AAA couldn't really help with the tyre - the rim fused/jammed so bad that in spite of using a hammer to loosen it, the AAA guy couldn't really change the flat. This Mr. Valero yelled. At that point a name had to be dropped - KRON 4. After which he shut up. I was just too exhausted from this experience, but if I had my quick sense around me - I'd have a inflammatory video of this man laughing at my ordeal. Do not visit here, for gas, for car wash, or for such moments in life. Yelp - you need to begin having a -1 star classification for such people/businesses. read more

I have been coming to this Valero only to use the car wash for years. I know that the lady who barely speaks English and yells constantly, must be an owner because no employee would be allowed to treat people like she does. She screams, she yells at people and she is barely understandable. Today was the end all be all. Their payment device at the pump was on the fritz, and I was in a hurry. I went to the window and told her to leave the tab open. She doesn't do that, instead she charges me $45 before I pumped the gas. I was furious, and refused to sign. I told her hang on one minute and I'll be done -- total tab = $11.49 and that included a $5 car wash and her overcharging me for a credit card price, I used a debit card to get the lower price and didn't. When I go to use the carwash she must have turned it off on me. This hasn't happened before. All of a sudden I hear screeching and yelling in some sort of broken English and she's telling me to back up so she can reset. My arse, she had turned it off. I've literally gone thru there dozens of times, I know how to use a drive thru carwash. She had the unmitigated gall to ask me to sign something in Chinese I couldn't understand and again, I said no. When I left after barely getting my car dried, I called my credit union only to be told that the actual charge of $11.49 hadn't come thru, but the unapproved $45 had. Now I have to spend the rest of the month arguing with these jokers over this charge. I used to rely on this car wash, I'm going to have to waste more time on my commute and go to the one over on California further into Burlingame. Bummer. read more

By sheer coincidence, price just went up to $5. :( I happened to see owner at station -- he hadn't seen my review and said that had nothing to do with it, but instead that the water prices went up and he was forced to charge more. It's still a good deal, not as good a deal, but still a good deal. read more

The staff is rude and the equipment is out dated. The car wash is dangerous. There's a curb on the left side of the exit that you may run over. It appears that there was some sort of pole or column there, but it is no longer there. Overall this place needs to be overhauled. read more

Awful, generally... last time I went there was a note saying the dryer was broken. If I recall there isn't a spot to swipe your card either so you'll need to walk to the little booth. read more

This is a decent car wash for I'm between real cleans. I give it a low rating, however, because their dryer has been broken for a couple of weeks now. Each time I get gas here (because it's en route to and from my office) I ask if the dryer is fixed. When they tell me it's not, I inform them I'm willing to still pay for a wash, but that I'd like $2 off the total price because the full service I normally pay for is lacking, by 25% I'd say. The station refuses to do so, which is fine, but I see it as poor taste and customer service, thus the low rating. read more

I stopped by here to get gas because it was located by the freeway. I try to pay cash to avoid scammers and hackers, but this time I used my card. No problem. I asked the teller for the bathroom and he pointed me to it by the car wash, no problem. I wouldn't use their car wash because it looked old and outdated. It was a hassle-free and convenient experience because the gas station is next to the freeway exit and entrance. read more

Price increased and bleach smell which can be smelled from your air vents inside! Be aware! I was taken my previous car there weekly, but not the new one anymore. After the increase of the pricing, and using bleach was end of it for me. Drying is way too short, it doesn't dry it rear of the car. Also timer doesn't display the remaining time of drying cycle. Avoid this station and save yourself time and money. Bought gas then wanted to use the air. Rude attendant refused to switch it on even though the sign on the air/water clearly stated that CA law requires the gas station to offer free air & water if gas was purchased. The attendant told me to, "Call the company. It does not belong to station." Then pointed out the 800 number. That 800 number is for complaining about the gas station not providing free air & water! You bet that's what I'm going to do next. read more

You may find some small comfort like I did in knowing that this person's vile behavior is an established pattern and your interaction with him isn't unique. Here's my story: I went through the car wash this evening and as it was wrapping up I hear someone yelling. Then I realize that someone is yelling at me. I rolled down my window and the man I presume to be the owner berated me because my "car moved". There was more yelling from him as I was sat there stunned, trying to understand what exactly was going on. Suffice to say, their car wash has an issue and the way he deals with it is not to repair it but blame it on his customer, loudly and with vigor. I know there is little chance this person cares what others think of his rude, asinine, unhinged behavior toward his customers, but if there is one person reading this that decides to steer clear to avoid the nightmare of dealing with him, then I'm good with that. read more

I would avoid coming to this place. The cashier doesnt know how to treat people. When I use to come here because I worked nearby before, it was not uncommon to see the cashier, an old asian guy of stocky build to come out of his booth to yell at the customers in the carwash for doing something wrong. I would also witness people getting into confrontations with him yelling at him back occassionally. Im surprised that this guy wasnt fired or if he is the owner that this place is still around. read more

I was turned away and yelled at by your store manager on 1000 Broadway Burlingame CA 94010 today around noon ALL because I wanted to use a Pre Paid Gift card my mom got me. The manager made me feel horrible and didnt even try to help me or try scan my card. He wanted me to go away and said "we only take cash go away." I am really shocked that Valero has this kind of customer service when a customer tried to use a pre paid VALERO GIFT CARD. Can someone contact me from Valero, I want to tell my story to a customer service representative?? Never going back there again. read more
