Well, I'm Kate McKinnon's character. Multiple neighbors raved about how honest, reasonable, reliable and thorough he is on our local online forum so, based on many glowing reviews, we scheduled a 10:30 a.m. appointment with Phablo on June 15th to detail our 2 SUV's. Given that we live in Los Gatos Mountains / at least an hour's drive for him, I wasn't surprised when he didn't show on time at 10:30. But, since we had out-of-town guests arriving the following day who'd be staying with us for a week and our autos really needed detailing before they arrived, I began texting Phablo at 11 a.m. asking if he was running late, but never received a response. I texted multiple times that day and left him a voicemail. My texts & voicemail asked if he was still coming. I was never angry, or impolite...I simply wanted to know what was going on and if we were still on his scheduled. As of today, I've never received a response. I went from being concerned that our SUV's wouldn't be clean for the day trips that we'd planned with our guests to being worried that Phablo possibly had an accident on his way here. My car was broken into last week. The rear passenger window was busted out so got that fixed as soon as possible using another service. The problem was that whoever broke into the car must have cut themselves in the process, and there was blood INSIDE the vehicle. We were pretty concerned and did some quick bleach cleaning of this, but wanted to get a full interior clean and steam/shampoo for peace of mind (and the car needed it anyway). I spoke with Phablo on Friday and booked an interior car clean this morning (Monday). He was in and out in 2-3 hours, came directly to our street where the car was parked outside. Pablo is amazing. I called him up today and described my car's paint situation and what I was hoping to achieve. He asked me to text him photos of the car and he'd call me back and let me know whether he could help. Sure enough he called back and explained what he was thinking he could do and was able to schedule time to come in a few hours. Once he saw it in person he became more confident he knew exactly how to approach the paint issues (which were cause from a previous owner painting aftermarket sideskirts, while on the car). He showed me his equipment and the products he'd be using. We agreed on a very fair price and estimate of time and he went to work. I was even allowed to watch in case I was worried. He and his partner worked very carefully on my car and kept me updated throughout the day of where they were at and what they wanted to do, if anything different arose.
