One of the worst places to go if you are looking for good service especially for regular customers. I go here all the time and am a heavy Shell user with a Loop membership. Heavy user of the carwash as well. I get free washes with my loop membership all the time( 5-6 washes every month). They treat like the air is some kind of a hassle for them. All they have to do is press a button once or twice if it doesn't work the first time. But no, they think it's some kind of a favor. This is required by CA law for customers at any station. If you need air or good service go to the nearby Chevron or Valero at Broadway. They have good service and free air no questions asked. I am never going to go to any Shell station anymore because of these guys. Like they say, one rotten potato spoils the whole bag. If you want customers learn to treat them well, especially the regular ones. read more

Horrible. Paid for gas and a carwash but screen on pump said "see cashier for receipt" a saga that unfortunately didn't end well. There was already a line outside of people waiting, as the door was locked. Many people just gave up and left, so I called the phone number. The rude employee that answered let me know she was on her lunch so I'd have to wait 25 minutes for her to get back. I asked if she could just let us in to get the receipt, and she reiterated that she cannot let us in while she's on her break. Ridiculous. So I waited the 25 minutes. Last weekend I had a very bad experience at this station that included both the front desk, and getting gas. After speaking with the staff I asked for the manager, and was refused. A man who the lead attendant said was the owner (Varish Goyal) was about to drive off. I asked if I could speak with him and he walked over and wrote down a phone number and email address and said he was leaving but would be back Wednesday. I waited until the date he indicated I should call to alert him to the incident I called the phone number and it had a message that said he "did not check it frequently" and to call his cell phone number (which he did not provide.) I also sent an email to the email address he gave me and have not received a reply to my email. I am still awaiting a reply to my concern, a valid contact number and email. read more

Late at night this place is totally ghetto fab. Got taxis lingering, strange characters dropping in and out. THe interface to the gas kiosk is so worn out that some of the buttons dont work unless you take like a pen tip and press them. Shit needs to get fixed big time. Found out about this place recently because my friend needed to put gas in his car on the way back to the South Bay from SF. Gas pumps had really loud broadcasting blaring from the "TV screens" on them--is there any way to turn the volume down? This time, I needed to put gas in my car on the way home from SF, since my gas light came on near the airport on the way up to SF. Didn't fill up my tank in the city because it's usually more expensive, thinking we'd hit this place on the way down. Well, we pull up to a lit up gas station with ALL of the pumps covered with plastic wrap that says "out of order." WTF? Why are you even open? This place is useless to me (I'm guessing they stayed open for the convenience store part?). We left & found other options nearby on the other side of the freeway. read more

Gas pump #8 malfunctioned while I was using it - pumped very slowly, then the cutoff valve failed, spewing gasoline all over me, my car, and the pavement. I notified the station attendant, who was overwhelmed with customers. As I left there was a line of cars at pump #8, and no one was responding to the incident to suspend use of the pump or to fix it. I breathed gasoline fumes all the way home to San Francisco and had to take my asthma inhaler when I got there. Isn't there some way to report this problem??? read more

Does a brisk business due to its proximity to the rental car agencies so be patient. You'll see a bunch of folks that cut their time too close so they are driving (and acting) like jerks. Gas was the cheapest that we'd found though we hated the forced advertising at each pump. It was like LOUD commercials that you couldn't turn off. I used to come here all the time because it's on the way home from work, it's cheaper than the 76 station, and there is a live person working late at night when I get off. My debit card will flash 50-75 bucks when I buy gas at the pump even if I'm only getting 10 bucks worth, and sometimes it takes days to get that money back so I like to charge it at the counter. Unfortunately the last three times I have come here I think the graveyard employee has been sleeping in a back room or something. If i can give it a zero star .. i would. I got gas at this location on 2/23/15 and ask for a receipt, which is only prepay receipt so it does not provide how many gallons purchased for my work's expense report. I didn't notice it till i filed the reprot. I called back a week later and talk to a gal who tells me that they can't get me a copy becuase it's passed 5 days. She didnt feel very confident in providing that answer and was seeking guidance in spanish to her co worker. So i called Shell's corporate office and they told me this shell is a franchisee location. But they can provide a hand written receipt by the manager. Called back and spoke with a guy and asked to speak to the manager. The "manager" got on the phone and was the same gal i spoke with before. I asked for the manager and she said she is the manager and she says she can't provide the copy. I told her that her corporate office says that the manager can provide a hand written receipt, which means they can see the information of the receipt, just maybe not able to print it out. She said to come in then. I requested the receipt to be faxed/scanned and email to me. Gal claims that there is not fax machine there. I also ask her if you dont have a fax machine, how does she receive invoices from her vendor. She then says oh it's broken. I refutted her claim based on the call earlier regarding her asking for help form her co worker and reqeust to talk to the manager. She then says she's the assistant manager and that Martha, the manager is not available at the moment. I asked if Martha can call me when she's available. Gal told me to call at 3pm. I told the gal to give my info to the manager to give me a call when she's available. Since i'll be calling at 3 anyways, i dont know when the manager is actually is avialable. I usually do not come to Shell gas stations but since moving back tp the Bay I have been coming here for about a month. The ladies would see me and greet me . But this time one older Mexican lady that works there I've never seen before was very rude and obnoxious. I was using the rest in thete about ten minutes tops and heared someone outside who just tried to open the door. He asked if someone was in and I answered yes. Then about 5 minutes past and I was done and coming out he complained. This shell person started banging on the door saying this was not a public bathroom. I know that I'm a paying customer I always get stuff there. So when I came out words in English were exchanged, then she spoke in spanish. She assumed I didn't understand wrong, this is YELP I can not repeat what was said about me but it was downright rude and un called for.
