We thought all Quick Quacks were going to be the same, let me tell you, they are not. This location is the worst one I've visited. Quick Quack isn't cheap, nor that great of a value but we only use it when I'm a rush and it's on the way. We got a one-time wash, and they wrote on our windshield. When pulling in we noticed that this location has two lines, and that everyone was only in the right lane. The employee came up to spray the car barely hit our car. It was basically a light sprtiz. Then going through the car wash it was as if they just poured the cleaner and the water on our car. The brushes did nothing. When exiting the car wash, it didn't even remove the markings that the employee wrote on our car. Our car did *not* look clean whatsoever. We paid for a service that we never received. None of the vacuums work, the towels are never replenished with new ones. Free loading Uber or TCP drivers hog the spots and wipe their vehicles with the free towels. Place is a joke. I want to say it due to the customers who are uncivilized but it all falls on the owner as well as the folks running the place. Example: Just returned from a Vegas trip. Took rental to a place called WOW car wash. Same concept as quick quack. Place was clean, easy to use and all the vacuums worked!! As well as plenty of fresh, clean towels. I'm extremely disappointed with this car wash and will be canceling my membership. I drive a brand-new 2026 vehicle with power-folding mirrors. I intentionally fold my mirrors IN before entering the wash for safety and to prevent damage, especially after hearing from coworkers whose mirrors were damaged here. Unfortunately, the wash system aggressively forces my mirrors OUT every single time. That kind of repeated outward force will eventually cause damage. It's not a matter of "if," it's "when." What's even more concerning is that I've been told the company claims they are not liable for mirror damage if the vehicle is older than a certain number of years. That policy does not build confidence, especially when the equipment is clearly strong enough to override factory safety features. I simply wish the machine would spin in a direction that reinforces mirrors folding IN rather than aggressively pushing them OUT. Until this is addressed, I cannot justify continuing my membership. Also on a side note-----$5 for vacuums? Ok well that's 16% additional from the base $29.99 monthly membership if used once per month BUT I can't even use THE VACCUM even if I want to pay THE EXTRA $5 since people just use the vacuum spaces as parking to dry off their vehicles and not vacuum. read more

We've been to Quick Quacks all over and this one stood out the most. This week I'm in Millbrae and after paying $24.99 for a wash they wanted an additional $5 for 5 minutes of vacuum time? This is a first time I've seen this. And no microfiber cloths? Luckily I had my own cloth in the trunk and had to still manually scrub off some bird poop their machines didn't wash off. Do not use quick quack in Millbrae. I have had a membership for many many weeks and their overhead brushes that cleans the windshields and top of the car have not been working for weeks. I went to have my car washed today and as I was checking in I specifically asked if the brushes were working. I was told yes they have been repaired. That was a lie. The overhead brushes were STILL not working. I inquired why they lied to me and their response was that they were repaired. I said that was a lie and then they said well only one side was working. Unfortunately when I specifically asked the question I was in line for the left side which is the line that was not working. They didn't say this line still doesn't work would you like to move over to the other side, NO they totally LIED to me and said it was repaired. The employees here will lie to your face do not patronize. After I posted this I read another post complaining about having to pay to use the vacuum after having paid a high price for the wash. The stores response was that they have always charged for the vacuum. THAT IS ALSO A LIE. When theyn first entered the Millbrae market and for years they did not charge for the vacuum. After battling to get in line on a Saturday for 15 minutes because only one wash lane was open and paying $16. I am incredibly disappointed with the quality of the wash. It looked as though only the tires were cleaned. Visible dirt still left on the hood and top of the car appeared to be untouched by water. It took 5 arduous months to cancel my membership-- the online process was misleading and lacked transparency, so I made the trip to ask for it to be done in person, assuming it was completed in good faith. To my surprise however, I was charged for it again and again every month, so I called customer service to inquire and it took them over 30 minutes to complete such a simple request. To make matters worse, while I was already awaiting callback from a supervisor because only 2 of the 5 additional months I was charged for was refunded, I was unable to obtain a final wash with an email confirmation stating validity of my membership through today (5/3/2026). This place was terrible. I had decided to go based on its website description, which said it included free vacuuming and tire cleaning (Lucky Duck). Well, I get to the Milbrae location and the attendant says that vacuuming costs an extra $5. Even kinda joked about how bad it was that the site was outdated. I'm kinda annoyed but decide to pay for the Lucky Duck level at $24.99 (website said $22.99) to get the tire cleaning....cuz I'm already deep into the long line. Afterwards I saw that the tires weren't at all any cleaner. Car wash was just so so clean. I went to quick quack because everyone says it's a great wash and it had vacuums. The vacuums BARELY sucked up loose dirt. Barely any suction at all and doesn't tell you if it read your card. I finished driving through the wash and pulled up to the vacuums to see that my car was still covered in a layer of dirt. The entire roof of my car was still FILTHY and i had to hand scrub bugs and bird poop off myself. What a waste of $25. Expensive for a car wash too. I came here around 3:25-3:30pm, on June 2nd. And as I was being directed/guided into the tunnel for the car wash, my left tire hit some kinda metal like object, maybe a barricade. And my left front tire was wrecked. I wasn't able to get a car wash and I had to wait 2 hours for triple a to show up, and tow my car to a mechanic. Almost all mechanics close at 5pm, however the triple an agent took me to a mechanic that closes at 10pm. I had to pay 130 dollars for the repair. I cancelled my membership on that day. I waited for the incident report agent to respond back. But they never sent any e mail back. I was told by a staff member, they will reimburse me for the repair. Place was terrible. The wash damaged my car trim and I opened a ticket for review / repair. After a month, I heard nothing and called back to a call center that said I had to wait for the location to call me back. After 2 months, I finally got a reply saying they wouldn't take responsibility. On top of it, the car wash was pretty weak and my car was still dirty. I was visiting and I care about the quality of the carwash I go to. The price is not worth the damage, time and negligence that this car wash has shown. zero stars!! absolutely TERRIBLE! always malfunctioning!!! My son's car got hit and so did my daughter's car. I went by myself to get my car washed and their carwash keeps stalling. please fix your carwash!!!! people are literally getting hit in the back of the car while in the carwash!! I came back for another car wash today. This time I wasn't as impressed and to be honest, a little disappointed. I got the "best" wash again and it left my car super soapy and still dirty at the end. I was able to talk to the worker about how my car was still dirty and soapy and was able to get a second wash to fix the issue. At that point, I also learned vacuuming is NOT FREE at this location or the one in South City. Their general website for all Quick Quacks is listed on their yelp page and says it's "free at nearly every location". It does not specify which locations require you to pay for vacuuming. Unfortunately, even after the second wash, my car was still very soap. (see photos). Both times I went to the one on the left side which makes me think maybe I should have tried the right side instead? Also, the green light to signal us to go was not working on the left and to be honest I really thought I was about to hit the car in front of me because my car kept moving forward while they were just sitting there. I understand with inflation and all that prices have to go up. Within 3 months from my last wash at this location the "best" wash went from $19.99 to $21.99 and it went from free vacuums to $5 for 5 minutes. I do not mind paying a few bucks extra for the wash if that means the vacuuming is still free. To be honest, 5 minutes is barely enough time for vacuuming too especially if you have mats and a trunk. So in reality, it would be closer to $32 total if I actually wanted to spend more $$ on vacuuming. I know if I had the unlimited pass it would be a better deal, but having to pay for vacuum each time won't cut it for me. With that price, I know there are other car washes in the area that would actually wipe your car dry and vacuum for you instead. read more
