We went in tonight because my gf has been dying to try them and it was her birthday! She got some sushi that she loved. It's not my thing, but she says it's good! The service started off slow. We were one of maybe 3-4 tables and it took a hot minute for anyone to come by but after that it was great. The music and decor and lights and all make it a really fun place for dinner and drinks! Loved the vibe! Already planning to go back w friends!

The drinks here are definitely the highlight they even do a mojito flight that's strong and worth trying. The food, however, was just okay for me. At times it felt either over-seasoned or under-seasoned, and I've definitely eaten at better places. The service was fine, nothing too special. This is very much a Spanish restaurant vibe the music is super loud, so you'll probably find yourself yelling just to have a conversation. Inside, it's dimly lit and nicely decorated, but there aren't really any good photo-op spaces. The bathroom is also small and not always the cleanest, which was a bit of a letdown. For me, the prices felt a bit high for what you actually get. Not my favorite spot, but if you're coming mainly for drinks, you'll enjoy it!

This place has been on my list for a long time! I was here with a few coworkers after work. The interior is very sexy! The vibes would make a great night out! We opted to sit outdoors on the patio. The patio space was a little dusty, but I guess most people come for the vibes. They have a very extensive menu. We got a few appetizers and shared. Everything was delicious! Our server was very nice and had great recommendations! I had a blue drink, which was a little too sweet for my taste. Will be back for the food and definitely to check out the late night vibes!

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time and it didn't disappoint . Food was fantastic! Split an app and entree. Server was very knowledgeable and I love the decor.

Everything from the ambiance, the food and the service were amazing! Their menu selection was so extensive that we had difficulty deciding on a dish. They all seemed so delicious! Their drinks were at another level! Beautiful presentation and the taste did not disappoint! Our server was Melanie super attentive, super kind and met all our needs. We will definitely return to try their other dishes. It was quite busy for a Tuesday night in which honestly felt like a Friday night! With the happy vibes and music. I highly recommend! I do want to add, if you have photosensitivity/with flashing lights this may not be the place for you or your children as these lights are used during birthday celebrations through out the evening. Lastly, they also have outdoor seating.

I went here for a family dinner for my birthday. We wanted to try something different. Our server was nice and attentive. It was quiet as it was a Tuesday. It was dark inside so perfect for a future date night. We brought the kids but came early enough that it wasn't an adult scene yet. They have a large bar area and plenty of seats inside. The main thing that stuck out on their menu was unique sushi flavors. I like tempera (cooked) style sushi. It did not disappoint. My favorite was the Hampton beach roll. It was a Tuesday and they had this one on special for $6. We got two. One with guac and one without. We recommend getting it without guac. The flavor were so good together. The sweet plaintain on top was unexpected and delicious. We ordered one other sushi roll, crunch roll, with shrimp, mozzarella and bacon, and this didn't have the traditional sushi taste. It was good, but not what we were hoping for. More like a unique mozzarella stick. We also ordered the general Tso's chicken with a side of beans. The kids split one order of the kids chicken tenders and fries. Both were crispy and well cooked. The presentation was so cute. Things were a bit pricey. For a water (they brought out a bottle of still water and two kids juices it was $20. We were not expecting that. Also, like other reviewers, tip was already added so just look at the receipt. All-in-all a good dinner but a little pricier than expected for what we received.

This is the baked lobster with other seafood drenched in this creame sauce. DRENCHED I couldn't eat it. - Seafood dish with lobster, shrimp, and other seafood in a sauce served on a white oval plate, with a glass of wine nearby.

And we interacted with neighboring tables on both sides to recommend (when asked) the oysters, and when one received a drink with a big smoke bubble that created a magical flow of smoke when it burst. French inspired drinks and food were fantastic and interesting. The French 75 menu was so interesting-- choose your flavor and your bubbles. I tried two, the classic with rosé was so pretty, and the honey lavender with base level champagne was delicious. The raw oysters were to die for! Perfect little pop of acidity with other flavors delicately added and perfectly balanced. The oysters Rockefeller were also perfectly delicious. The foie gras is not something I would normally eat, but my boyfriend loves that stuff so we went with it. I enjoyed it more than he did. It was not a classic foie gras, it was smoother with a creamier texture and more buttery flavor. Eating it with the fig jam and "light as clouds" toast made it absolutely delicious! I enjoyed every minute and mouthful--would definitely seek this place out again even though I live an hour away! We enjoyed ourselves too much to take pictures!

For drinks I ordered the lychee martini and chai-tini buzz. The lychee martini was a little too sweet and the chai martini was too milky for my liking. There are a lot of interesting cocktails on the menu so I'd like to try something different next time. For food I ordered the Samosa Bliss and the iron pan (kadhai) hit with paneer and a side of garlic naan. The samosas were delicious: crispy on the outside and well-seasoned on the inside with a tangy sauce. The paneer was excellent in terms of portion size and texture. I would have preferred basmati rice with the entree instead of the yellow rice and more garlic on the naan, but overall it was a satisfying meal. There isn't a dessert menu but they have a case with a variety of Indian sweets. Service was very attentive and felt like you were eating at a family's home. Lots of nearby street parking. As with many older New England buildings, the entrance is a little tight and has a few steps so it may be difficult for some people to enter. I look forward to visiting again!

Service is fantastic - you enter from the patio side (steps up front and ramp along back of the patio). These guys are well and professionally staffed and we've always been met and seated quickly. All of our servers have been knowledgeable and helpful in making selections. They have regular tables, high tops, bar seating and outdoor tables. There are dedicated water bowls for anyone who brings a pup (outdoors only) and the dogs I've seen have been well behaved and adorable. We've never brought our dog, but he's still greeted and admired by staff as we pass by on a walk. That really says all you need to know about the wonderful people. Parking is in the lot right out front surrounding the small High Street courtyard or on the street. The dining patio overlooks that same courtyard. All in all a great combination of good food and a nice but casual atmosphere.

I like dishes that are new and unique, carry the same passion I have for cooking and include the ingredients that I enjoy. I have seen quite a few reviews for Vivacino in No. Andover, all were good. The prices are a little elevated from your norm but the food preparation, quality, service and all-around food experience explain that. I would rather go out less often and enjoy a great experience, than go out more often and eat subpar food. Firstly, of all nights we picked New Years Eve to go with no reservation! But we thought we'd give it a shot. We were greeted by I'm assuming Richard the Owner General Manager and a lovely young lady who let us know what we already knew, they were packed with reservations. Richard did inform us that the bar had two available seats at the end and my husband said we'll take it. I was shocked because he never sits at the bar. But it was an end seat for him and he must have really wanted to try this restaurant. We sat down and were greeting by bar waitress Toast B who gave us menus. She was super friendly and pleasant. She let us know the specials of the evening. After looking at the menu, I asked her if I was crazy, I thought I saw Chicken Piccata and Veal Parmesan on their online menu. She said they did have it, those were on their other menu of items carried over from Buono. My husbands not too adventurous, he just wants his Veal Parm or Chicken Parm and is very critical of it, since that's all he gets. We ordered drinks and a basket of freshly baked bread and oil was brought over. Delicious. We didn't order appetizers, just went ahead ordering our entrees. I figured it would be quite a while, with the restaurant being so full. But shockingly, our meals came out really quick. My husband couldn't believe how huge his veal was! And he said it was super tender. I tasted his sauce and it was over the top delicious, and I never order red sauce. He got Penne with his entrée. I had asked for Chicken Piccata, which comes with roasted veg, but asked that the veg come on a separate plate. Good thing I did as I got a HUGE plate of roasted veg, which hubby would have never helped me eat if the Piccata sauce was all over it. The veggies were perfectly roasted, and the potatoes in it were perfectly charred and cooked. Carrots, zucchini, summer squash and potatoes in a slight bit of seasoned olive oil. The service was here was perfect. No screw ups here as with some other restaurants, the dishes came exactly as we asked. The chicken was very tender, and the sauce was exactly what a Piccata sauce should be. Deliciously lemony and buttery. Disappointingly, we were too full for dessert, but will def try the dessert next time there. The pistachio cake looks delicious! I am already planning my next adventure. I was thinking of asking if they could do the Saltimbocca with Chicken. The grapes in it, reminded me of the sausage dish I make from Anna Rossi with fennel and grapes. The sirloin looks phenomenal, as does the Chicken Broccoli and Penne, and the Caramelle. Next time for sure. The grilled Shrimp in Amaretto sauce (I'm assuming was a special?) looks out of this world also, as does the grilled sausage appetizer. I have to say the entire experience was enjoyable. Food, service, ambiance, all of it. Especially on a busy holiday night. If you haven't tried Vivacino and enjoy really unique and good food, TRY IT. And when I say unique, I don't mean strange ingredients you will never eat. They take everyday ingredients to a whole new level, one that is worth every penny you pay.

Ironically, I have been very hesitant about visiting Italian places since moving to Boston. Despite…read morehaving quite a vibrant Italian food scene, especially towards the North End, most of my visits to Italian establishments have proven to be a disappointment. One would feel like Nona's tired or Nona doesn't want to feed you or Nona doesn't want to have anything to do with you. Obviously, that's not what ANY good Nonas ever do since they want you to have the very best. So one may ask what's truly going on? Is it the same issue with other cuisines where the food quality is not properly preserved or because there is no standard to uphold anymore? It reminds me of someone who once said to me that those who care deeply about any cuisine have moved on to NYC and other food-centric areas. All that's left are those who send out food to customers who either don't know or don't care. Perhaps, there is some thinly veiled truth to this statement. I've been acquainted with Chef Nimesh for a few years and know his deep passion for Italian food. In prior locations where he was based, there were always limitations to how much he was allowed to express his art and understanding of the cuisine. So while he was throttled over there, here in Andover after taking over a dying business, I'm able to witness just how good his expression of Italian food is. Every dish I ordered tonight were things I knew he was particularly passionate about. Yes, the whole menu is well designed...but I'm talking about things I knew he would choose to serve in particular until the world ends. Signature dishes on his take of Italian cuisine. I loved every bite. I truly savored and enjoyed it. So much so that I'm willing to just make the drive up to Andover just for a meal any given day. Mind you, the place is well designed, clean, and upscale. You can thank his business partner, FOH extraordinaire for bringing that side to life. The staff working here are great and the wine selection is immaculate. You will definitely enjoy your visit here. Absolutely recommend this spot for anyone wanting a great and non-pretentious Italian food experience!
