Very poor service! Would not go back! I prefer not to use dealers for service. However my vehicle had a recall that needed service.

To this point I've had a terrible experience with Vachon Ford, particularly my salesman Robert…read more"Bob" Warning and their finance manager Christopher Stockert. Back in February we traveled from Maryland to Connecticut to purchase a low mileage 2010 Ford Expedition, the sale seemed to go smoothly but during signing the paperwork their sales manager took it upon himself to move forward with going through a 3rd party company they use for out of state purchases, inspections, taxes, tags, title and registration vs. taking care of the inspection, taxes, tags and title when I got back to Maryland myself. He said the company handles their out of state sales, makes the process simple and my tags and registration would come in the mail. I asked if he was sure Maryland participated in that system, if they would accept the Connecticut inspection, he said yes. (It was a Saturday afternoon, no way for me to confirm, so I took his word for it) A couple of weeks go by I reached out to my salesman Robert "Bob" Warning for a status update on my tags, low and behold I'm told that Maryland doesn't accept Connecticut's inspection, so I would have to have it inspected in Maryland. Bob said that Chris said they would reimburse me for the inspection. While that seems like a small bump in the road, I told them I just spent $350 on having my windows tinted because they told me the inspection was taken care of and Maryland won't pass it with the tint (I need it for light sensitivity with my eyes), I would have to have it removed and reinstalled, which means I'd have to pay all of that money again. After going back and forth with Bob and Chris, we agreed that they would reimburse me for the inspection ($87.58) and $150 toward the windows being re-tinted as long as I sent them the receipts. I emailed the receipt for the Maryland State inspection on 3/22/21 and the receipt for the window tint on 4/2/21. When I finally received the tags, they had sent them to the wrong address, thank God the neighbor that received them was honest and brought them to my house. As of today, I still haven't received my reimbursement for either receipt, I have contacted Bob numerous times by phone and text messaging and I keep getting the same response, he'll talk to Chris and get it taken care of. I've talked to Chris a couple of times, he said he has sent the request "upstairs" doesn't know why it hasn't been taken care of. I talked to him (Chris) again this past Wednesday and he said he's just going to pay me out of his pocket and he'll get the dealership to reimburse him (Yeah, sounded strange to me too), but we agreed he was going to send it via PayPal, took my PayPal info and said he'd call his wife and send it over. It's been two days, still haven't received it. At this point all of this just seems like they're trying to frustrate me to the point that I'll just give up, while $237.58 might not seem like a lot of money to a car dealership, a finance manager and a salesman, but it is to me. I'm disabled now, on disability and when you still have a wife and 3 kids to take care of, every penny counts!

I wanted low mileage, with a clean interior and exterior - but I also wanted a fair price. Being that it was the end of 2020, it was harder to find this, as most of the 2017 leases were bought up earlier in the year. I went into the searching and buying process expecting honest, professional, and respectful service. I'll share that dealing with all those other dealerships was frustrating and wore on my patience, but definitely helped me feel confident in my decision to do business with Vachon GMC Cadillac in Putnam, CT! Jim (sales) and Mike (manager) were fantastic. Jim was really friendly and took the edge off the buying process with his conversation. He was honest (admitted that he obviously wanted to make the sale) but didn't apply a lot of pressure and kept it respectful. Not once did he "honey" or "sweetie" me, or act like I was being too picky. When I took it for a test drive, I noted that it didn't sound like it should - that something didn't feel right. They brought it right into the shop to check it out and figured out that one of the tires was slightly unbalanced. They had me take it for another drive after that and it drove like a dream. I pointed out that it looked like one of the roof rails needed a fix and they immediately submitted an order to replace the part. On the day that we came to pick up the vehicle, there was now a chip in the windshield, so they made an appointment for me to come back in a week to have the windshield fixed and the roof rail replaced. Everything was handled perfectly and for the first time in my life, I LOVE my vehicle!! Very pleased with my purchase and my experience at this dealership. Highly recommend reaching out to Jim at Vachon GMC Cadillac if they've got what you're looking for!

The pricing was great and I received more for my trade-in than I anticipated. The only "complaint" I could make and it is not exclusive to Premier is the amount of time it takes to get through the buying process. If GM can figure out a program to shorten the time going through the purchasing process they will have a leg up on the competition. Ask for Bill Buswell. Excellent sales associate as were the others (Greg, David) that we dealt with. I would DEFINITELY recommend Premier to anyone in the market for a vehicle.

Towed the camper to Florida and back so the mileage went by quick. Went in this week for what I assumed was my last free oil change (bought truck in October 15). Was told I was "out of warranty oil changes". When I questioned why, service guy said "your beyond you 24,000 mile warranty oil changes". I was at 24,756. He said he can change it for $60. Funny I can change it for far less then that in my driveway. When I began to explain about what we had been told when we bought the truck, his reply "yeah I hear that all the time, it's not true". Great. Thanks. I'll take my business elsewhere. He NEVER even tried to make it right. BTW I looked through all my paperwork and see nothing about mileage restrictions on my oil changes. Paperwork states "free oil changes for 2 years from date of signing".

I was taking my cars to K town for many years until I got sick of the crap work they were doing…read more 2014 I brought my car to replace a manifold and it took two weeks for them to repair it. They will call to tell me that the parts didn't come off the truck yet. The delivery got messed up. I was okay with this and understood things happen. However they stopped calling me, and they would tell me it will be done tomorrow but it would magically have to be pushed to another day. I was told a few days at first, then a week then two weeks. I was so upset I wanted my car back, I had nothing to drive to work for two weeks. I had to keep borrowing a friends car. I told them if it was going to take a week let alone what it ended up being I would have rented a car but they kept telling me no it will be done tomorrow. I would expect a phone call and they wouldn't call me and I would have to call for a update. The last day it was in shop I called --it was a Saturday they close early at noon. I was so happy to finally have it back. I waited in the room watched the tv to see it in the garage. NEVER was it taken out for a test drive before giving it to me. I asked Chris if they at least test drove it and he said yes all done all set. Thought maybe they did before I got there or something. I lived in Plainfield at the time. I drove half way home to have my car making a awful noise then smoke blowing out of the front. I pulled into my driveway bawling my eyes out that I paid this much money waited two weeks for my car and this happens. I called so many times but they were closed by then. Luckily my mother lifted the hood and found they never put the clamp on my radiator hose. They also forgot bolts underneath the car so things were lose. Monday morning they took my car in and replaced the clamp and the extra bolts they lost. One week later when I need my a/c it wasn't working. Their excuse they forgot to recharge it when they took everything apart. I paid a "discount" to get that recharged. That was the last time I gave them my business. My sisters car was also messed with as well after all this. They didn't properly diagnose her car and she sold her car only to have it her be told that the gas fumes were leaking into the car !!!!
