I bought a glass top for my table. And the price was competitive with other company's. But the delivery fee was by far less then anyone else in town charged by at least half. When I purchased the glass I was told there would be a flat finish on it, and I was fine with that. But when it arrived, it had a factory finish on the edges. And it was very uncomfortable to rest your arms on the edge of the table. So I called and scheduled for someone to look at it and when they arrived, they were immediately defensive and making excuses for why it was normal for the table to be the way it was. Finally, after 10 or more minutes of explanation. He finally agreed to take the table back to the shop and smooth the edges. So, after a couple of weeks. I called the office and they told me they have not had the time to work on it. And that they would call me when it was done, and I need not call and check on the status. So, after two more weeks, I decided to call them again, and they told me that they were finally working on it, they had just been very busy with new orders. I was a little offended, because I had already paid for my order. It was incorrect. But they still pushed it to the back of their priority list. I'm sure they had their reasons, but the integrity is up for debate. Finally, I get my glass redelivered. And I think all is well. But this glass(I have no idea what the difference is) scratches so easy that I can't even figure out what is causing the scratches. My last piece of glass I had over the table was a large window from a remodeled home. I took the window to another shop in town and they cut it down for me. I don't ever remember that glass getting any scratches. This glass has new scratches on it daily. And I have done my best to keep sharp objects away. I give this company 1 start for a horrible customer service, the owner (Megan, I never meet her only spoke on the phone ) Sounds like an older person but she has the aptitude of a teenager. When her staff came to install our frameless shower door($1990) I asked polite to wear a mask inside my home I have some pushed back from the installer .Since I didn't want then to leave I decided to call the owner (Megan).She was sarcastic ,condescended and extremely rude. Years ago I found a coffee table I fell in love with, but I wasn't a fan of the glass top it came with. So I called around and found out that Vacaville Glass would custom make me a glass top however I liked. I was surprised at how inexpensive it was, considering it was custom made. The people were extremely friendly and it didn't take long to receive the custom glass top for my coffee table. I no longer have the coffee table, but I did love it, and so did the person who ended up purchasing it from me a few years later. Remembering this great service, I ended up using them again to fix my sliding glass door. The guy who came out, Leo, was awesome. He was very professional, and had my sliding glass door fixed and sliding properly in no time. He even showed me what he did to fix it and made sure I was satisfied before he left. My house came with a slide out kitchen/garage door instead of a real door. I needed a new sliding glass door and when the owners came out for a bid, they pointed out that if there was a fire, insurance might not cover the damage, because those sliding wood doors are not up to code! I am very disappointed in their service. We have a commercial operation, we called them to install a new door closer for the main entrance. They came out and installed a closer that was half the size of the existing one. After 4 months, the door closer started leaking fluid on the floor and was allowing the door to slam shut on our customers. We called them and they said they only warranted the part for 30 days - can you believe that, 30 days. They said, if we buy the part for another $145 they would come install it at no cost. There is no way I would do that and risk their inferior product going out again in 4 months and having to go through this whole process again. I asked them to call the manufacturer and to see if they would replace this part since it only lasted 4 month - nope - they would not do that so I asked them to send me the warranty language on the part so I can call them, they said they would try. Seriously, is that the type of service this company gives? read more

When we finally set up the install date, they supposedly called us telling us the morning of saying windows broke and we need to reschedule. Had an extremely large and heavy sliding door that I could no longer safely open and close. Vacaville Glass sent a technician who promptly diagnosed the problem. Worn out rollers under the door and worn track. Both were replaced and door opens easily. However, had a problem with the lock, I would lock it and it would promptly unlock. The installers showed up on time, were very polite, fast, and they did a very nice job installing. I can't be any happier with the new windows and slider. My only critique, they may want to double check their cleanup before they leave. I had to wipe down the dirt smudges on the slider after they had gone, and they left a drill bit behind, but really that's not a big deal at all.
