Last week I had a stone hit and chip my windshield. This place was the first recommend by Siri, so I usually didn't have high hopes even though she said it was highly rated. I called around and many shops wanted me to send my picture of the chip and the VIN # of the car (I don't know what they would do with the info). Anyway, although I only wanted the glass to be sealed and repaired many started that I would have to replace the whole windshield. And then they find out that I have a heads up display, lane departure camera, and auto rain sensing wipers. These would need special calibration after a none OEM/Factory glass was installed. After a a day or two of research Cliff called back (it was the weekend when I called). I showed him the picture and he said it would be no problem. He came out the next day and repaired it. The work was excellent and I could only see a tiny dot but no more spider vein cracks. Cliff was very professional and easy to work with. I would recommend him as his prices are also very competitive. He took about 30-35 minutes, most of that time was waiting for the product to dry. Than you Cliff! read more

I called Solano Windshield for an estimate on my cracked windshield. I was given a price, which at the time I couldn't afford. I explained my situation and that I had to save up the money. They assured me that the estimate would still be good, no matter how long it took to save up the money. About 6 months went by and I was finally ready and able to get the job done. I got in touch with them and set something up. The night before the appointment I was given instructions on how to park my car. Turns out backed into the driveway is the way to go. I gave Ted a call to request a quote to repair a chip in my windshield. He was able to stop by on the same day because my house was on the way to his last appointment. Upon inspection of my windshield, he noticed that it had been repaired before. I have only owned the truck for 4 months, so that was a little surprising to me.
