"I'm happy to do a service call but it's gotta wait because I've got people with working no air"…read more That's everything you need to know about John's ethics. I called him because my Lennox machine wasn't blowing cold air. Over the phone, he let me know that Lennox has an issue with evaporator coils and I likely have a leak. I have him come to my house less than 24 hours later and he takes a look at the unit. The unit went into protection mode due to a power surge. John told me over the phone that we would be looking at a major repair because I failed to mention the power surge, so he didn't know. But he looked at the unit and explained to me that a power surge will turn ACs into fan systems, and that all I have to do next time is wait an hour and turn the unit back on. No upsell, just 99 dollars for his time and expertise. I was prepare to spend thousands. At that point, I felt very comfortable with John's ethics. It's a good thing to have. I asked him to do a service on the machines (clean, etc, yearly maintenance) and he told me he was happy to. However, his priority was to get customers with no working AC up and running. I'm okay with that. It's a sign of good principles. Also, he told me he's proud of his install work. I know my machines will break again, and when they do I hope he'll be around to help.

Then they just stopped responding to me when I asked for more info from them on this. Extremely unprofessional, wouldn't recommend at all. Edit: Since the business decided to publicly call me incompetent and say I am lying, I've attached the proof. Same company, same job, different quotes. It's fine to charge what they want, but the terrible customer service followed by petty name calling is enough to NEVER consider this company. Edit 2: Full disclosure, both of the projects were submitted BY ME for ME. How could the scopes of work be different when I submitted both (I was accidentally logged in on another account)? And if they were different for some reason, the company could've explained why instead of ignoring it and stooping to name calling (they deleted where they called me "incompetent." ) TL;DR - find someone else, this company is sketchy and unprofessional.
