With a six of months left on my lease I started looking around online for a new car. I also called multiple dealerships to find out the price on a new Cayenne. Every place I called said the same thing to me "come on in and we can go over it". All I wanted was the price and even telling them I knew my fico score I still got mumbo jumbo to "come on in". As anyone knows once you're in the dealership it's like you're caught in the spiders web. You get the same thing 'what do we need to do to get you in the car today". I am way too lazy to drive around to multiple dealerships and have them call me repeatedly day after day to see if I am ready to buy. I called the LA Car Connection and was able to get a quote over the phone. I got the buyout numbers on my car as well as how much the new Cayenne would run me. I was able to get multiple prices depending on what I wanted to do which made its way easier. I wasn't 100% ready to step up to the plate yet so I said thank you very much I will be in touch. While they had my name and number I didn't get the multiple phone calls from them asking if I was ready yet or come on in we have this special running today. I changed my mind multiple times over the next couple of months as to the color, model, and options and each time I called them they were straight forward with me and I never felt like I was being pressured or pestering them. I finally decided on the color and package and told them what I wanted. Within a couple of hours I got an email with the exact car that I wanted. The icing on the cake was the car had extra features that I wasn't even looking for and there was no up sale the car was still at the same price he quoted me. I said done deal gave them my information over the phone and he said the car would be the next day. I got the call that she was in (yes all my car's are she's) and went to pick her up and sign the documents. When I got there I met Eric the owner who was really nice, not your typical car salesman. They had some amazing cars inside including an old formula one race car. After talking about the different cars in his showroom for about 30 minutes we went in to sign everything for my Cayenne. I was waiting for the "up sale" of this or that and there was none, it took no longer then 10 minutes to sign the doc's and that is including chit chat about this or that. I was the easiest car buying process I have ever had. Eric showed me everything about my car and hooked up my bluetooth and away I went. Happy as a clam! I won't mention any dealerships but all I will say is their price on my Cayenne lease was 2,000 less down and $200.00 less per month than any other quote I had received. Eric Brooks, claimed he was seller told me the car was discounted for a quick sale because his client's husband died and they needed a quick sell. I asked to see the car but was told it was in storage and would be delivered instead. Before I said yes to Eric, he acted with haste saying the deal was going now - buy it now or loose it" he said over the phone. I said let me think about it and then I received a contract that appeared to have been run through another entity, not his former company LACC or the new one Carblip. It looked normal besides this. The del was good so trusted Eric and went forward. Eric demanded that I met him at Starbucks, NOT his business office. He requested that I come with a cash deposit of $5K and the rest I wire tomorrow. Again, Eric was known in the community, not the best reputation but a good car salesman though. I met him, he rushed to make sure I had the cash, counted while I was asked to sign a contract to purchase the auto. He was sweaty, eyes enlarged like he was on something or in a huge rush. I signed, paid and he said the car will be delivered in two days to my house, no need to call the office or come but I can call his mobile phone. We left. That's evening after telling my husband about what happened, he said that is most odd, he looked at the contract and said this isn't even from his company... he asked about why I had to pay in cash $5,000. He called Eric and said we wanted to cancel the contract and we have the right to do so in CA per the law and that we want our $5K back tomorrow morning first thing. My husband said he would be at the office at 9 am and Eric panicked... " NO, don't meet me there, I'll call you at 8 am with a coffee place on the way to work" he said. Next day, 8 am came and no call. Eric Brooks didn't answer his phone nor was he at the office. We left messages after messages. Over week went by and nothing from Eric. My husband came to the office in Westlake and the receptionist kept on saying Eric Brooks was not available. This has been going since July 2020 and I still haven't gotten my money back. He totally lied and cheated me out of $5K. I have filed a small claims suit against him but due to the backlog, my court date is many many months away. Meanwhile, this scammer runs around town pretending to be a big shot while knowing he has stolen from me! I don't like exposing my dirty laundry, but Eric Brooks is no good! Stay away!!! read more

My wife was looking for a new car and she did not want to have to go through the hassles of car salesmen and their dealings. We were referred to Adam from L.A. Car Connection and Adam took care of everything. He was so professional and made getting a new car incredibly pleasurable. My wife explained the car she was looking for and the price range. Adam found the car in less than two days. He told her to be at his office the next day to pick it up. We went to his office and the car was sitting in the warehouse all polished and clean. Adam brought out the keys and gave them to my wife and explained how to utilize all the bells and whistles of the car. We went in his office and signed all of the paper work, which was just a few pages, not the normal 30 pages of crap at the dealerships. No one tried to sale us an extended warranty, scotch guard or any other upgrades like the dealerships do. We simply went in and picked up the keys, signed the documents and drove the car off within 15 minutes.
