Best nail place EVER!!! I've been here a few times and they are truly the best! Specifically, today I picked a color for my dip nails w/tip. I picked a color that didn't show up much and regretted it (even after Hieu asked me if I was sure that's the color I wanted). Hieu let me pick another color and started COMPLETELY OVER, just to make sure I got the perfect color!! The woman doing my toes also went and got another color to match and re-did them too! They really went above and beyond. I hardly ever get my nails done ($$$) and they really made sure I was completely satisfied before leaving. I came here last Friday for the first time to get my nails done and I decided to get the eyelash services done. I wanted them longer and they had pictures showing great results. My eye lashes look AWFUL! The only reason I will give a somewhat good review is because my nails look nice. I can barely put mascara on and my eye lashes are all folded in and I can't do anything to make them look normal. They are also falling out. I paid 45 dollars for this service and it is just awful. Go there for nails, but not eyelashes. I just hope that all of my eye lashes don't fall out. Here is a picture of just 3 that fell out this morning. You can see in the picture how folded they are and won't go straight even with mascara. AWFUL service.. read more

He sat me right down and went through so much effort to make sure that all of the colors were as it showed in the picture and we even made some adjustments because they didn't have the white glitter that was in the picture which is fine my nails look beautiful. read more

After receiving a recommendation for the V Star Nails & Spa and seeing what a excellent job they do I stopped there this afternoon to see if they could squeeze me in. Kim was available and took me right away. I explained I had a time crunch and if she didn't think it would work I would make a appointment. She assured me it was no problem and got to work, on my full set of pink and whites. She did a fabulous job and finished with 15 minutes to spare. Start by saying only earned a second star for the nice kid who did my nails. One star for the business owner/ manager for not properly training. If I'm going to get a "training experience" then don't charge full price! Especially when I paid extra and lost over two hours of my life I'll never get back Plus, why am I paying YOU to USE me to train your staff?? Very inconsiderate to take the little me time I get and not deliver the experience I paid for to relax Poor kid (17?) was a clueless young man. I sat there for TWO+hours. Why? Because he didn't know how to give a pedi or use the tools in his station. So frustrating watching him struggle, pick things up and look at them to figure them out, do things mostly wrong and in wrong order, while coworkers doing nails on either side of me coached him. Two long, frustrating hours. Pedi not properly shaped, cuticles not done, rough spots on heals still there, hot towels were unwrapped and waved in air until cold. Ridiculous. Train your people properly. Really disappointing. read more

The qulaity is exceptional. I've done dip, gel and acrylic as well as pedicures. My in growns are cured and my feet stay softer longer. They don't try to upsell. Top five nail experiences of my life time and I mean that! I'm a nail girl. I have an Instagram just for my nails. I'm serious. These people treated me like royalty and I'm hooked. I came in and was greeted and shown the polish colors. There are so many to choose from and they have a few of the new OPI colors so I'm intrigued. I got an organic pedicure with Don. This included paraffin and hot stones and an aroma of your choice so I went peppermint. This was a very relaxing experience with attention to detail and no rush. I even was offered very good white wine and a heating pad for my neck. My aches from the day at work we're soothed and my feet were supple. Thanks Don. For my dip manicure I was serviced by Jessie. This service was simultaneously done and I love killing two birds with one stone. Jessie patiently removed my previous dip powder that was caked on and horribly done. She took my nails from clunky and thick to smooth and sexy. I'm very pleased with her ability To make my dip manicure look as thin as gel. Bravo Jessie. I'll be back. read more

I honestly didn't wanna give any stars. I went in to get pink tips. Advised that the pink wouldn't work,Which is so bizarre it's not a weird request. Anyways so I said ok and just got all pink. Also got a pedicure and eyebrow wax. As my nails were being done I kept telling him that this isnt good and this wasn't even. Got advised that he wasn't thru. I didn't wanna make a big deal was trying to trust the process. Another employee starts doing my eyebrows while I'm in the chair of getting nail/pedicure chair. Everything was so rushed. I didn't feel good about the whole process got up to go pay and my hands are covered in crap and crap under my nails and my nails were so uneven. When advised it would be $106 I informed of how unhappy I was I paid and tipped and she redid my nails which didn't turn out much better. But I hate complaining unless necessary. Then I get home and my eyebrows are gone. I was paying attention so much to my nails that I didn't even get a look at my eyebrows. One is bigger than the other and so much is gone. I will never come back to this place and wouldn't suggest anyone else do customer service is crap. read more

Tommy is very nice at V Star nails in Hurst but Tina is rude and forgets her appointments. Not once but twice I had showed up with a standing called in same day appt I made with her and when I arrived she was working on someone else. She would just say sorry, I forgot or Tommy can get to you. I have brought a lot of business to them but was not valued as a customer so I found another place that treats me like the classy money spending customer I am bringing many other clients to them. Sorry V Star, up your professionalism. I really only went back after the first blunder because of Tommy as the owner, they have a high turnover of employees there too. While I was there, a customer came in and said she had a fungus on her toe after a pedicure there, I only ever got my nails done. Yikes!!!!! I left that day when she forgot my appt never to return. This place was very accommodating for myself and my bridal party for manicures the day before my wedding. I had called ahead to make appointments for us and they were ready to start working on our nails right away when we arrived. Everyone who interacted with us was professional and kind! It was a great experience. The price was also fair compared to other places in the area. I will say, my gel manicure looked great for my wedding, but it started peeling much earlier than I expected it to (less than 2 weeks), which was disappointing. But our experience there was great so I only took off one star for the mani not lasting as long as I would have preferred. Next time I would try dip because some of my bridesmaids opted for that and theirs stood up well. read more
