I bought my CabinetsToGo cabinets Oct.2014 & installed them myself, gut kitchen remodel. Now, I…read moreLOVE my cabinets even 6 yrs later. Workmanship is fantastic, even impressive. Assembly was easy enough for 12-yr old. Directions are well laid out, quite illustrated & simple to understand. After a few cabinets, I timed one---14 min., box opening to wall-ready. My paperwork clearly mentions the assembly & I think my rep (Bill?) mentioned it too. Several people complain about not knowing about the assembly, but I can't imagine the company making it less obvious over these years. That'd be illogical. Folks, pls check your invoice & ppwk before slamming a company. Only after that, accuse only if you honestly don't see it. You've got to be honest & fair. Long ago, I worked for a carpenter, all new house construction (in Joliet). We installed all the cabinets (3 options of cabinetry quality). I don't claim to be an expert, but I know more about cabinets than the average customer. Very impressive design---so creative & logical. Drawers open to 100% accessible, and glide so smoothly. If ever needed, it's so simple to take out a drawer & place back on its track. The connectors used in assembling sides together are impressive -- strong, simple. The "soft-close" drawers & doors are convenient, accurate & pretty cool. Even the hinges were designed brilliantly. I accidentally slammed a heavy object into an open door & the hinges snapped in two! Sounds odd, but that's impressive! Would you rather a cabinet door break/crack/splinter OR an inexpensive hinge break? Try finding an identical door in color, style & dimensions in 10-20 yrs. I highly recommend CabinetsToGo. The team there was helpful in designing what we wanted and made some good recommendations. The cabinet measurement appointment and installation were smooth. We haven't had any issues. Pricing was reasonable, I shopped around before I went here and compared pricing afterwards as well. We are now waiting on the countertop install which is on track for next week! Everyone we worked with there Ulysses, David, and Christine were responsive and helpful.

We instantly connected with Lauren Stewart, who took our vision for the bathroom we had always wanted, and sketched it out to the inch. Lauren provided recommendations for cabinets and fixtures that turned out to be perfect. What was most amazing about her expertise, was that she provided guidance based on her vast knowledge of her product lines. There was no need "to get back to us" with ideas, she recited them from memory, as if she knew that's exactly what we wanted. Thanks to Lauren and her team at Studio 41, we now have a fully functioning remodeled bathroom !

The local builder we used referred us to Lauren Stewart at Studio 41 in Schaumburg. Lauren, who has an excellent working reputation with our the builder, listened to our thoughts and ideas and came up with some great suggestions. At the same time, she did not take offense if we didn't implement a specific idea or suggestion. We had thought of doing two-tone cabinets and wondered if that would be too much in our small kitchen. Lauren assured us it would work (and why!) and as a result we love our navy base cabinets and vanilla top cabinets. We love the sink and faucet! I love the shelf above the sink; and my husband got the small pantry cabinet he envisioned, which has enabled us to keep the counters free of clutter. Lauren understood our vision, and her attention to detail was second to none. We appreciated being able to borrow cabinet panels to take with us to pick out flooring, countertops and wall color. We now have an updated kitchen (no more soffits!) in our 1950s home, without losing it's warmth and charm.

Well we needed their help with a new dishwasher that needed to be screwed into the quartz rather than the sides of the cabinet. Abt installed the dishwasher and due to a vent under the peninsula could not push the dw back far enough so it would have to be secured from the top and they wisely would not drill into the quartz. We called Anna at Art Granite and asked for help and of course Art was ready to help us out. He got the job done and for a very reasonable honest charge. If you need countertops and are thinking not interested in any big box stores, think Art Granite in Schaumburg, they go all over and are the most honest and professional anywhere!!! We were able to speak with Anna, who was very friendly and straightforward, look at samples, get an approximate quote based on the measurements we brought, and get back home with time to spare on my lunch hour. I was surprised with how simple it all was, and the price seemed reasonable. We called back and scheduled the in home measurement the same day, booked the service, and had it installed about a week later. On the day they did the installation, I had removed the previous sink but couldn't get it outside by myself. Art, the installer, helped me carry it down when he arrived, and was able to install the new counter and sink in less than an hour. Overall, a pretty easy and reasonably priced process. I'll likely go back to them when I replace my half bath and kitchen counters.
