A beautiful, complete remodeling of the kitchen, baths, floors, etc:…read more Excellent design advice and quality workmanship resulted in a wonderful home. Cabinets Plus did a full remodel in 2018 of the kitchen and both baths, hardwood floor, closets, doors and wood trim. Melissa and Linda's design advice was extremely helpful and they deserve full credit for how beautiful the kitchen and bathrooms look, not to mention the efficient storage. Their advice on other remodeling issues was very valuable, as they could visualize better than me how some of my ideas would actually look when combined, and the result was that I went ahead with great suggestions where otherwise I would have stayed with safer choices that would not have looked as nice. I came into the project with some design requirements (existing furniture and heirloom rugs) and a few ideas, but I could never have put together as fine a design as they did, nowhere near as good. When technical questions arose during the design, they Kent and his people were unstinting in laying out the technical facts so we could make the best choice. I'm very happy with the suppliers they suggested for plumbing and electrical, who were also helpful, and the products we settled on look great and work well--and again their guidance led me to make good choices I might not otherwise have considered. (So a tip of the hat to Banner Plumbing, Northwest Electric, and Abt.) The remodeling teams did excellent work, and what's more they were very careful to not make a mess or unnecessary noise, which pleased my condo neighbors. All the neighbors, condo board and management company had nothing but good things to say about them. Word of mouth counts: A former neighbor recommended Cabinets Plus, and my discussions with them gave me confidence that they would do a good job. I visited several remodeling companies but got the best vibes from Cabinets Plus. If I ever do another remodeling I will go with them.

As a long time visitor of the Ikea in Bolingbrook, I was very curious as to what the Schaumburg…read morelocation was like. I think that there are pros and cons for both locations. Bolingbrook might be easier to access (there is quite a bit of construction around Schaumburg currently) and I would also debate it is not as busy as this location. However, I did notice the Schaumburg store is not only much cleaner and well maintained, but has way more showrooms and creative displays. I guess if I were buying or in a hurry I go to Bolingbrook and if I was meandering and idea hunting I'd go to Schaumburg. The reason why there are so many showrooms is because this store spans three floors and is in fact, one of the largest Ikeas in America! It is huge and even as a veteran Ikea shopper I still got turned around a couple times. One thing that's nice is this store has the ability to stock more items so I found they had all the items I wanted available. I also noticed this location appeared to have customer service at every corner. I don't know if it's because I went on the weekend but I was thoroughly impressed at how well staffed they were and how friendly employees were during our interactions.

My husband and I had just moved to Chicago when we discovered this business. We had purchased a new…read moreking-sized bed and were wanting an eclectic style bedroom, so we decided to procure our own nightstands instead of ordering the ones that matched our bed. We searched online for over a month, visited five or six furniture shops, and even made a special trip to Chicago's Chinatown to try to find something unique. Our greatest setback was the lack of quality in the pieces we saw. My husband stumbled on a local listing for a gorgeous crimson nightstand from M&E that was priced to sell. I love restored furniture and creative vintage flips. We drove thirty minutes to pick up the piece. The owner's inventory was stunning; beautiful and vibrantly colored vintage furniture that was carefully restored. They are extremely open and friendly people who are passionate about what they do. Their prices were more than fair. We were hooked. We asked them to keep us in mind for another nightstand. Not only did they keep in touch, but they found one! They re-did it to our liking and set an appointment for us to come by and get it. Then, my husband spotted another one that he loved more. They graciously offered to repaint it to our liking (at no extra cost, though we offered) and sell us that one instead of the one they had prepared for us. With a generous spirit like that, they should be in business for a long time!

Their trademark is well built furniture with great bones, then they take it , work their magic, and turn it into something exceptional. I am very happy with the two pieces that I purchased.
