How do I start to explain how incredibly happy I am with my new kitchen? Let me try.... I worked with Marc and his team to remodel / overhaul my cookie-cutter "builder's kitchen". Marc was extremely patient with me during the physical design phase where decisions were being made to relocate appliances (requiring plumbing, electric and gas moves) and knock down walls. I travel for business on a frequent basis; however, Master's always took the time to meet with me and I never felt rushed when making my selections. In fact, the original ensemble selected (cabinets, counter tops, flooring, backsplash, etc.) ultimately ended up changing after bringing home the samples to see them in my space. I actually ended up going in a completely different direction. This didn't phase them a bit! In fact, the design team was happy to accommodate the many hours spent making my second selection! Master's provided a realistic - and accurate - timeline from demolition to installation. Alin, who was my assigned MASTER, is nothing but extraordinary. He was punctual, extremely clean and a true professional. His workmanship has been scrutinized by many friends and family members who claim to be "in the business" and they couldn't find a flaw in his workmanship. Now that is saying something! My remodel included: complete demolition; relocation of plumbing, electrical, gas and HVAC vents; install drywall; painting; install ceramic tile floor; install cabinets; install quartz countertops; install plumbing fixtures; install over/under cabinet lighting; install pendant lighting; relocation of can ceiling lights; creation of "niche" over stove area; etc. Every time I walk though my new kitchen, I am amazed at how well everything came together. I feel like I live in a magazine! I needed a company that I could trust to execute the project from beginning to end without having to deal with coordinating multiple contractors or vendors. Master's does things right! Would I recommend Master's? Yes, one-thousand times over! Don't go anywhere else if you're looking to remodel your kitchen, bath or other area in your home. After vetting 9 different companies to do a complete gut and kitchen remodel at my condo, I opted to work with Masters Kitchen and Bath located in Park Ridge, Illinois. What a great choice it turned out to be since we never know for sure how remodeling is going to go until after work gets underway, right?! I spent over 12 hours with Marc Weiss and Masters' designer Joe before signing a contract. They did layouts, graphics, reviewed products, and proposed ideas for a kitchen that was having a pantry "amputated", appliances relocated, new lighting by way of removing a fixture and replacing it with canister lighting, and new flooring in both the kitchen and foyer areas. During all this time there wasn't even a lick of a hint that any fees were needed to keep the ideas coming. That's almost unheard of in this day and age considering some companies wanted a fee just to come out to give the condo kitchen a look-see. The work was done in a very timely manner within the 4 week time span as Marc said it would be. Alin the installer was meticulous in his work: neat, tidy, precise; timely; asking questions when necessary, and answering them as posed. The cost for all of this? $33,000. However, this cost was highly competitive with other venues including Home Depot, and Masters offered a better array of quality products. By far Masters Kitchen and Bath pro-offered the most by way of design, products, and warranty, including a 5 year warranty on installation. There is no doubt that I would gladly and with full confidence work with Masters Kitchen and Bath again. Masters Kitchen and Bath would be glad that if they were to work with me again it wouldn't take 12 hours of engagement and an on-going vetting process in order for me to sign a contract! As Marc said at one point, "Working with you has been epic." I guess, but I have stellar results from what has proven to be a 5 star company. read more

Our 25+ year old kitchen was getting pretty shabby and worn and really needed a complete gut and rebuild. I wanted a company that would do the full design/build process as I felt rather intimidated and overwhelmed by the project. After meeting with several companies, my husband and I chose Masters Kitchen and Bath. Joe Spina and Jennifer DiMeo helped us through the whole design process and product selection and were a pleasure to work with. They came up with a way to squeeze extra room out of the existing space to allow for a peninsula, something we really wanted. Zeljko was a one-man show during the construction part of the project. He arrived every morning with a smile, and did *everything* - tile work, electrical work, lighting, appliance installation, flooring, you name it - he did it and did it exceptionally well. Having Zeljko bring our kitchen to life was such a thrill and I'm so happy with how everything turned out. As with any construction job, there are always surprises but Zeljko always found a way to solve any problem. He always checked in with us to answer any questions he had or make any necessary decisions. He answered all our own questions as well and addressed any concerns we had during the process. The constant communication was really important and is what helps make a project successful. Masters also stands by their work with a five year warranty. We did have to ask them to come back for a minor repair to some caulking and Masters sent Z within 48 hours to take care of it. Lots of companies are there for you before you finish paying them. We could not have selected a more professional and top quality company than Masters Kitchen and Bath. We started our remodel by having several independent contractors give us quotes on our total remodel. Each contractor told us to pick out what we wanted and gave us several locations to see different cabinet and styles, backsplashes, countertops. We spent several Saturdays doing just that. Then came the actual design of the kitchen. We did not know what was possible and what maximized our kitchen space. We saw so many products that we could not decide what to do. We decided to see what the cost would be to have a professional company come in and design our kitchen for us. Marc came to our home and took pictures of our kitchen. We met with him later and he had designed our entire kitchen layout. We were able to discuss changes and keep within our budget. From his store, we were able to pick out our cabinets, flooring, countertop, cabinet handles, sink and backsplash all in one day. With his program we could actually see what our entire kitchen would look like. He gave us ideas and helped us with every detail. He is a pleasure to work with. The quality of work on this kitchen is extremely professional. Every detail was taken into consideration. The work was done on time. We could not be happier with this company. We were able to get a beautiful kitchen with professional workmanship and still stay within our budget. We will be going back to Masters to have our bathrooms remodeled. We knew Masters did quality work when we saw how they had remodeled a close relative's kitchen. But for due diligence purposes, we still had two contractors quote our project - Masters was the easy choice. There were many decisions we needed guidance on. Jennifer, our designer, was very helpful with those and helped us maximize our available space. We had extensive plumbing and hardwood flooring modifications involved, and true to their word, Masters maintained full ownership throughout each phase of the project. Sasho was our project supervisor, and he oversaw all work done by their plumbing and flooring partners, keeping us well informed along the way. Alin did a fabulous job with all of the demo, electrical, drywall, cabinetry, tile, finished carpentry, and appliance installation - a true craftsman and a genuine pleasure to work with. I strongly recommend using Masters Kitchen and Bath. We used Masters Kitchen and Bath for a remodel of our basement, including a laundry room and bathroom. Their designer, Jen, came up with a brand new way to organize our space so that we ended up fitting a full bath into space we originally thought could only hold a half-bath. Their aesthetic helped make concrete what we only vaguely imagined in our mind. The quality of the work was incredible, and their team made sure to anticipate our needs and offer suggestions where we had not thought of something beforehand. I also work from home, and despite such a dramatic remodel, their team was mindful of noise and kept the workspace clean so that we were able to still make use of the basement while the work took place. For such a dramatic remodel, it was amazing that I could treat the whole process as "hands-off", where all I had to do was sit back and wait for the remodel to be finished! We hired Masters Kitchen and Bath in 2019 to do a gut rehab of our condo kitchen, install all new flooring, new doors and paint our 2 bedroom condo. Their work is OUTSTANDING. The crew who worked daily on our home were true professionals and everything was done down to the smallest detail. the workmanship was top notch and it was a pleasure to have them in our home. They had come recommended by a friend who used them to redo a bathroom in her lake front condo. I have recommended them to other neighbors and our neighbors were as happy as we are. This past October 2022, we had water damage in our condo unit from an upstairs leading dishwasher. Some of our kitchen had to be dismantled so the walls could be dried out to prevent mold and mildew from growing. We hired Masters Kitchen and Bath to do the reconstruction of our kitchen since their workmen knew every screw, nut and pipe that they had initially installed. When we first moved into our condo, we chose Masters to update our kitchen with granite counter tops, new fixtures and a stainless steel sink. They did an excellent installation job. Three years later we hired them to completely gut and remodel our bathrooms and once again they did an excellent job. Working with Marc on the contract side of the project and Joe on the design end was very pleasurable and their service was excellent. They had everything we needed in their showroom and through their suppliers. Alin was an amazing craftsmen and handled all electric, plumbing, tile, countertop, cabinet and fixtures installation and was one of the neatest contractors I have ever worked with. I decided to upgrade my master bathroom because I'm getting older and I want to 'age in place' in my condo. I wanted to take out the bathtub, add a walk-in shower, add a higher toilet, grab bars, and other things I might need when I'm 90 :-). I worked with Jen at Masters Kitchen & Bath. This company did a marvelous job of bringing my kitchen from the 1980's into the 21st Century. The kitchen was totally gutted and redone with new cabinets and hardware, flooring, lighting (LED), back splash, etc. I really liked that it was a one stop shopping experience. You select everything in their showroom, including the kitchen sink, faucet, and disposal. I didn't have to get my own workmen for each aspect of the remodel. Everything was of excellent quality. The workman always came on time and did meticulous work -- a true old world craftsman. Every detail was included. Overall, it was a very positive experience. I had a great experience with Masters. I did a kitchen remodel with them and worked mostly with Sasho and Igor. Everyone is very professional. I like that they have a showroom, which makes it easy to check out cabinets, materials, fixtures, etc. Once they started, the work took 3-4 weeks. Igor did most of the work and is very neat and thorough and easy to get along with. Everything came out pretty great. Plus they cover the wood floors with paper and cover any carpet with blankets and keep everything as clean as possible. Overall I feel great about choosing them and will probably go with them again for my bathroom in a few years. read more
