He has amazing customer service and was very thorough going over the entire process of painting the interior of my home. His prices were also great. Roberto has a keen eye for what needs to be addressed during the initial part of preparing house to paint. I could not be happier with his eye for detail and high caliber of prep work. I found this man to be very ethical, fair in his pricing and taking pride in his work that is becoming more uncommon than common. Roberto has a work integrity that exceeded expectation. My house was long overdue for new exterior paint, and there were definite signs of peeling paint…read moreand dry rot especially along the side and back of house. I used the Yelp app and met with 4 painters. One was booked until Nov, one declined the bid since he was paint only and limited carpentry, one gave a really high bid, and then there was Felix who we eventually chose. Felix was perhaps the most transparent in terms of work scope and he took the time to measure and estimate how much wood and siding would be needed. He also has teams of both carpenters and painters so he does dry rot repair and painting. They also use ladders with fall protection for the high places, as opposed to scaffolds which would of course add more cost. The whole job took 2 weeks - 4 days of prep, and 3 days of painting using mostly sprays and hand painting of siding. Very professional job and 5 stars: 1. Daily communications by text and updates 2. Thorough covering of windows and doors 3. Clean work area after each day 4. Extra credit for getting rid of loose wiring, the previous owner's dish, and fixing a broken gate 5. Honest and transparent pricing - we had a change order since during prep, more dry rot was found than at first glance. Highly recommend Felix for your exterior wood repair and painting needs.

We were in the market to repaint our hundred-year-old Craftsman home, and to be honest, we were…read moreextremely cautious. About ten years ago, we had a very poor experience with a painter who used improper preparation materials and techniques that were not suitable for a home of this age and type of wood siding. We ended up stopping the project midway and settling for a basic paint job from someone else just to move on. This time, we wanted our home properly repaired and thoughtfully restored. After watching a neighbor's home be beautifully prepped and painted by Level Five Painting, we were genuinely impressed and decided to reach out. The owner, Juan, came out for a walk-through and quote. He was gracious, knowledgeable, and patient with all of our questions. We immediately felt we could trust him and didn't feel the need to get other quotes. Our home was assigned to the project manager, Ivan, along with Juan and Daniel, who handled the preparation and painting. They spent about three weeks -- Monday through Saturday; meticulously sanding, repairing, priming, and painting. We were blown away by Juan and Daniel's work ethic. They worked incredibly hard, stayed focused, and treated our home and property with the utmost respect. Every day, they left the worksite clean, organized, and well cared for. Ivan was wonderful to work with as he was responsive, communicative, and present throughout the project. He checked in frequently, answered our questions quickly, and made sure everything stayed on track. What truly set this team apart was their deep knowledge of their craft and the pride they take in their work. Their level of professionalism, skill, and work ethic is something that, sadly, feels increasingly rare these days. It was refreshing to work with a team that genuinely cares about doing things the right way. The final result exceeded our expectations in every way. Not only did they revive our Craftsman home, but they also corrected many of the issues left behind from prior poor workmanship. Our home now looks refreshed, cohesive, and truly ready for its next chapter. Because of the quality of their work and the trust they earned, we've already booked Level Five Painting for our next project -- preparing and staining the interior wood trim throughout our home. We highly, highly recommend Level Five Painting.
