This year I realized I needed to re-paint my home and ADU in Richmond. We've been here 6 years and there were tons of cracks in the stucco where I could tell water intrusion was happening. According to the neighbors, our home hadn't been painted in 15 years at least. I solicited 5 separate quotes to choose from. I got the best vibe from Alexis so I moved forward with him. It took less than a week to finish the job on our 1500 square food house and 380 sq ft ADU.First he patched our stucco where needed - included some parts where the foundation was exposed which we didn't know because it was hidden behind plants for so long (!!!). Then he prepped all around the house and over our windows - he did this so well we really did not find ANY stray flecks of paint after the job was done. The color came out great, and more importantly I feel secure in stopping water intrusion ahead of the next rainy season. Oh, and I had a couple of change order requests and he was quick and reasonable in quoting that mid-job. One final thing, out of all the painters that visited me to survey the property and generate the quote, Alexis is the only person who actually showed up on time and to deliver the quote when he said he would. My wife and I purchased our first home over 30 years ago and since then we've never had any work done on the house. So over the years it had gone through a lot and dramatically shown a lot of wear and tear. The exterior showed a lot of stains, broken, cracked stucco, peeling and faded paint. The first thing we needed was to have a renewed exterior look and we had three estimates done so that we have a better idea of how much our rehabilitation budget will be. Based on the estimates we received we've decided to go with Atlani Painting. Our house was a little outside of his regular work area but he willingly accepted the project. It didn't take long before we saw the transformation of our house from old stained aged exterior to a renewed more updated look. He transformed the exterior into a more modern look and style, and we couldn't wait until he transformed the interior of the house. The interior of the house had a stained ceiling which indicated that there was a leak on the roof and he went above and beyond of what we agreed upon and fixed the area of the roof where the leak was coming from . Then he proceeded and painted the ceiling and I can't even tell that the ceiling was ever stained at all. There were others extra work that he did like replaced some of my lighting fixtures, fixed the doors because it won't shut anymore, etc., and he fixed them all without over spending our budget. My wife and I are quite pleased with the work Atlani Painting had done to our house to give its most modern look.
