As soon as I walked in the service was above and beyond , walked me through the beers(I didn't get any being I'm driving ) and the food and made my decision easier The place inside has some cool photos and paintings and when I mentioned that to the bartender , she gave me a lesson on the general in photo as well as how the flying tigers came about (loved it ) I ordered a pepperoni pizza with extra fresh and shredded mozzarella, took photos then hit the road . If you need a nice place to sit and chat with friends and family and enjoy a cold lager and food , this is it for sure.

We made the fastest pizza stop ever here on our drive home from Florida…read more I knew the pizza I wanted, ordered it at the counter right when we walked in because I couldn't find a phone number to call ahead. (Do you take call ahead orders?) Bummed I couldn't order ahead since we were in a hurry but it was very easy and quick to order at the counter, pizza was out in less than eight minutes. (It was slow at the time, so I'm assuming that helped). I asked for a to go box right away and we ate 2 slices, packed and left. We were in and out in about 20 minutes. I'm an IPA drinker and the one beer they were out of was their IPA. This was a bummer. I would have loved to have tried it. I would have bought a single can but they also don't sell singles (maybe they aren't allowed to do so) The pizza was delicious. Really, really good, and I'm a pizza snob. Just the right amount of cheese, enough basil, tasty sauce, great crust and well cooked. the one negative was it was too salty. It wasn't just salty cheese or salty sauce, it tasted like the entire pizza had salt on top of it. I like salt so this didn't ruin it for me, but I was pretty surprised how salty it was and would specifically request less salt (if possible) next time. The pizza is delicious, definitely don't need to make it this salty so if adding extra salt on top you can X that! I loved the atmosphere. Very clean and well lit, with a good amount of TVs but not too many. Comfortable seats well spaced. Cool outdoor space. The staff was very friendly. We will definitely stop again!

Batter, though seasoned nicely, was more like what you get on fish sticks and not a beer battered tempura style. They were also small and one was inedible because it was rubbery. We had a great meal at Roxie's Southern Bistro. I ordered…read morethe oxtails with rice and candied yams, and both were excellent. The oxtails were tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. My only suggestion would be to include a few more pieces, as the portion could have been a bit larger. For dessert, I had the peach cobbler, and it was delicious--the perfect way to finish the meal. The only downside was the restaurant's new policy of adding a delivery fee to all carryout orders. I placed my order to go and waited at the bar until it was ready, then took it home myself. Since I picked up my own food, I don't believe a delivery fee is appropriate. The server explained that this fee is now applied to all carryout orders. That extra charge is the only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars. The food was very good, and I'd definitely return, but I hope they reconsider this policy because it takes away from an otherwise excellent dining experience.

But the worst thing they did to us was charge us for lemonade when all we got were 2 glasses of water with a slice of lemon. There were not very many people there on a Saturday night and it's probably because of their pricing and poor customer service. the only reason I didn't give them a zero was because there was no option.

Upon entering the store I noticed it was mostly empty, but they had a large number of staff in the back fulfilling what I assume to be pick up and delivery orders. A couple different people asked if I've been taken care of, and I had and waited only a couple minutes for my food to be ready. Seems like a classic pizzeria experience, I could hear one group of people in a corner where I could not see that seemed to be enjoying themselves, and there was at least one person out front wiping tables keeping the place clean. So overall a good pizzeria ambience although almost empty at 7:30 on a Thursday night. My order was prepared and ready as ordered. They had a nice little topping station where I was able to dump Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes and black pepper on my pizza. First off I got the "sweep the kitchen" pizza 8 inch which was absolutely delicious & perfectly cooked. Ate the whole thing. Also got the small muffaletta, which was also good, but I was pretty full from the pizza I ate, but no complaints. Unlike me, I ordered the dessert pizza, a peach pie pizza, which I had very low expectations for, but was absolutely blown away. It was superb, the best dessert pizza I've ever had. It really was seriously delicious. So all this food for under 30 bucks was a very good deal. I hear that Johnnys is THE Louisiana pizza, I've never had it before, but believe it and I think they deserve their reputation. Will definitely return on a future trip to the area.
