I was visiting from St. George and ended up buying a used mountain bike while I was in town. I stopped in on a whim and spoke with Michael about getting it checked out. He told me he could do a full tune-up and inspection the same day, which was a huge relief. Michael was an absolute class act. He's incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the basics and walk me through exactly what he was looking for. He gave great recommendations and, when a few unexpected issues came up, he even stayed late to make sure everything was taken care of so I could head back home with confidence. I was having trouble getting my tire off the rim, so I called to see if they could fix it. They could! So I rode my sisters bike from Saratoga springs so he could fix my tire. He gave me a tip on how to get tight tires off the rim and since I already knew how to patch tires I told him that I could patch it myself, and he didn't charge me anything for it. He said "I'm always happy to give tips" which was phenomenal. I will definitely be coming back to fix anything else with my bike! read more

Poor communication Lack of options No effort to find what I asked for No willingness to work with me or give me the time of day I don't typically leave reviews but had a bad experience and wanted to share it. Dropped bike off here on 3/23 for a tune up, and needed the derailleur and front shock checked. Was told they would let me know my options by the end of the week. I did not hear back from them until I called on 3/29 for an update. My bike had not been looked at and they didn't have any timeline for me. On 4/3 I got a text that said it was done the shock they don't have and I would need to look for a used one. I picked it up today and paid $50 for the tune up which they said included lubing the chain and tightening the bolts and wasn't sure what else $32 for a Shimano Acero derailleur which I was never given any options $16 for a new chain Grand total came to $108 Not a lot of value for me. I'd suggest being blatantly specific with what you want because letting the experts at a this bike shop help was not the way to go or take your business somewhere else. read more

This is a great bike shop. I was in town and needed an early start to get a ride in. Not only did he have the best rates of the places I checked on rentals but the owner came in early before the store was open to get me going. I rode a Rocky Mountain carbon Pipeline 27+ which is an incredible bike. If you are in the market for a carbon plus bike go rent the Pipeline from this shop. The bike climbs like a beast and descends like a dream. The owner was even kind enough to open a new package of flat pedals so I could have a good experience. I have been going to this bike shop for years. Top notch service, and more than fair prices. Turns around repairs very quickly. Seems like he services so many bikes that the store is always packed to the gills with them. But that is because people trust this shop to get their repairs done. Plus while you are there, you can drool over all their pretty Rocky Mountain bikes. read more

I tried Utah Mountain Biking because it was near my house. What a nice surprise to have such a great bike shop so close. Mike was really helpful and very quick at bleeding my brakes and adding sealant to my tubeless tires. I will definitely be going back every time for any of my bike needs. read more

The first time I've cared to write a review. The owner helped me out a couple of weeks ago with my road bike before my first triathlon. I know next to nothing about bikes and he very easily could have taken advantage of me and charged me lots of money but instead he was super kind, allowed me to wait out in my car with my two babies and brought the bike out to me when it was finished. Do NOT take your bike here to be fixed. They are soooo disorganized and their shop is in total chaos, they don't even know what they are supposed to be fixing on the bike. They broke my oldest son's fork, and thought he should pay for their mistake. Uh, no! I thought I could give them another chance - big mistake!! They should not be trusted with your bike! Seriously, don't trust them. They have lost my business FOREVER!! read more

Mike is awesome. I had him do a lot of work on my bike's finicky Avid brakes and his service is top notch. His prices are better than any other shop I've tried in the area and he got the work done right, quickly and made sure I was satisfied. He keeps the items in his shop and parts competitively priced.
