Literally we didn't get to surf at all the entire week. We called Tom and his son multiple times and never were able to trouble shoot the boat. They were completely unwilling to discuss any type of discount. DON'T RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. TOTALLY UNREASONABLE AND UNWILLING TO WORK WITH YOU AT ALL. WE GO TO LAKE POWELL EVERY YEAR AND WILL NOT RENT FEOM THEM AGAIN.

Do Not Use Dylan's Water sports! We rented a boat from…read moreDylan's Water Sports after finding the listing on KSL Classifieds. Based on the photos and description, the boat appeared to be in great condition. Unfortunately, when we arrived to pick it up, it looked like an entirely different boat. The tower and speakers were different, there was no Bimini top for shade (even though one was clearly shown in the listing photos), and the seats and vinyl were ripped and torn--nothing like what was advertised. We felt completely misled by the listing. The owner wasn't present at either pickup or drop-off, which made the experience feel even less professional. While the boat did run, it did not perform as well as it had been represented in the listing and in our text conversations before pickup. Afterward, we contacted the owner to express our concerns. Although he admitted that the photos in the listing were not an accurate representation of the boat we received, he offered only excuses and refused to do anything to make the situation right. Since then, we've found several other reviews describing similar experiences. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend renting from Dylan's Water Sports at all! We felt it was our duty to warn others. I would have given zero stars if I could.

Owner is a big talker saying he'll fix things and make it right, BUT NEVER DID IT. He's a good liar so BEWARE. THIS COMPANY WILL RUIN YOUR TRIP IF YOU TRY AND RENT FROM THEM. Here is a Summary of MAJOR BOAT DEFECTS when the boat was delivered to us. 1-Trailer light improperly wired and encouraged us to drive illegally without break/tail lights. 2-Severely deteriorated trailer tire. (tire blew even though we told him the tire was bad) 3-No spare tire provided. ( who rents a boat trailer without a spare tire? ) 4-Missing safety flag. (illegal to pull people without a Flag on the boat and he doesn't even provide an orage flag) 5-Damaged riding tube. ( promised we'd have a tube with the rental so he gave us a tube with a hole in it that we couldn't use) 6-Missing promised equipment. ( missing boards, flag, etc) 7-Disconnected Engine Cooling Hose. ( He never connected the Engine colling hose for the boat to operate) 8-Immediate Engine Overheating. ( Boat didn't operate Immediately upon launching ) 9-Water intrusion. 10-Exhaust component damage. 11-Multiple ballast system failures. (Couldn't surf behind the surf boat) 12-Improper pump configuration. 13-Drivetrain/transmission failure. ( An issue others here have complained about for atleast a year and the owner FAILS TO REPAIRS ISSUES) 14-Tire failure during return trip. (We had to pay to replace his crap tire and pay for a Jack to hoise up his boat since he didn't provide a spare tire) Review of Dylan's Water Sports is this is a bad rental company Owner responded with several significant admissions, including: "We didn't do things right." "Things were not put together right." "I feel terrible about this." "I thought my mechanic checked everything" "My mechanic has mistakes like this before, it happens" Owner Bo Andreas Gustaffsson has FAILED TO REFUND my money.
