Premier Marine is the best. My boat wouldn't start despite changing a blown fuse. Aaron Davis,…read morethe owner, was able to get me in quickly despite being very busy. for a quick diagnostic. He was hoping he could diagnose and quickly fix my boat so I wouldn't have to wait the three weeks for an open spot. Within 20 mins he had determined my problem was a bad relay. He didn't have one in stock so he sent me to a local automotive parts store to get one, which I did and installed it myself. Everything is now back to normal. Aaron didn't win my business that day as he already had, but he further solidified my opinion that Premier Marine is one of the best, highest quality, and honest boat repair places I've ever dealt with. I highly recommend them. One thing that was different from the last time I had an issue and needed Premier Marines services, is email communication. When I called I got a VM message that directed me to send an email rather than leaving a VM. I did and it was promptly answered. We had an exchange of five or six emails over the course of a couple hours. Easy and convenient to communicate with and a nice way to have a record of all that was discussed.

I have an older 1997 Sea Ray, so some of the little things I had been looking over, but Aaron just took care of them. Also, my neighbor across the street has a fishing boat with a Mercury 90, and turns out he did great and fairly priced work last year for him as well. Next time I have a problem, no question I will be back. Thanks Aaron.

We rented the Tige Z2. We wish we would have cancelled after seeing the last review. Andreas told…read moreus the boat was great and the review was in correct. Steering was terrible, surf trim broken, and the boat had a hard time going into neutral to start. When it finally did go into gear, it would lurch forward or backward unpredictably, making it hard to operate. The passenger ballast wouldn't fill at all, and the driver-side ballast barely worked. Andreas was over an hour late, and once we had the boat, we texted him about the issues but received no answers. We've rented many boats -- this was the worst. Save your money and rent elsewhere.

I am very disappointed with our boat rental experience. The booking/signing process was great, pick…read moreup was fine, although we were promised enough life jackets for everyone and there wasn't near enough. He went to pick up more, but still did not provide enough for everyone. Our boat was the Tige and it was not in good condition. There were several things wrong with the boat that made our experience more complicated. The power steering didn't work, the throttle was extremely difficult to operate (there were several times where we couldn't find neutral so we couldn't get the engine to start for several minutes), the front window wouldn't open which made getting from the back to the front of the boat difficult, especially for the adults, the speed of the boat would not exceed 25mph, and times when it would not go above 15. The trailer brake lights and blinkers didn't work on one side as well. I reached out to Andreas, who we had been communicating with, to let him know of the issues. All he did was get defensive and make excuses. We felt a small refund to compensate us for the difficulties was warranted, but once inquired about, he stopped responding. Overall, I would not rent from Dylan's Water Sports again. They only seem to care about making money and not their customer's experiences.

If you want a boat, rent from Lake Powell Marina NOT this company. I had reserved a pontoon boat…read morewith TK Sports for July 24,2024. I received a confirmation notice but nothing else, so I called the company. I was told they do not rent pontoons for a single day, but a 21 ft boat would be available. So I submitted the application for that boat, again I got a confirmation notice so thought I was set. I emailed this company 4 times and talked to Tom many times before our trip. I would say this was a scam but my credit card was never charged so unless you get a Confirmation Number- you do not have a boat. The day of our rental, we spent about two hours going to all the marinas at Wahweap trying to find TK Sports- No one heard of that company. Again we called, I show 23 phone calls to Tom, he acted like he never heard of me, and said we only had to go to the boat rental- which we did. Guess what? No reservation for us. They don't return phone calls, they don't return emails-not sure if they even have boats. Luckily, we had our house boat and this DID NOT ruin our trip. Very disappointed!!!!!! I would give 0 stars if that was a choice. Wish I had seen the reviews. Not sure how this company is still in business.

When you look at the negative reviews they are hardly trustworthy. All complaining about refunds,…read moreso you know when people make mistakes and wants refunds it's always the owners fault. Joe was nothing but great this weekend, him and his wife are fantastic people and very professional. Prices are reasonable and line up with every boat rental place I have ever researched. Great experience will be back all summer until we get our own boat.

Potential customers beware! Utah Paddle Board Rentals should not be classified as a business. Their…read morepractices are unethical and criminal. My wife and I rented a jet ski and paddle board from Utah Paddle Board Rentals on July 16th. Joe, the owner, helped us. Very friendly guy at first. We rented a three person jet ski with the aim of having three people on it for the duration of the rental period. Joe assured us it could easily handle three people. As it turned out, the jet ski was far too unstable for three. So we tried it with two people. It was a perfect ride. No issue with it whatsoever. The thing is we didn't want to make one person sit on shore while the other people rode it. I contacted Joe immediately and spoke with him and he agreed that if we returned the jet ski right away he'd give us a partial refund. He also told us he'd get us a few more paddle boards to use for the day for our trouble (which was a promise they failed to fulfill). So we met up with Joe's employees, Ryan and Trevor and handed the jet ski off to them at the Deer Creek dock. We asked them if we needed to put it back on the trailer but they said they would probably take it out on the reservoir for the rest of the day. On our way home we contacted Joe again to finalize the refund he would give us for the jet ski. He told us he would give us $100 back on the $175 jet ski rental plus the total $250 damage deposit. When we said we actually paid $200 for the rental not $175 he suddenly lost his temper and said he didn't have to give us anything back. He said he was done listening and didn't have to do anything for us. We attempted to explain we weren't trying to get more money from him but that we did pay more for the jet ski rental than $175. He kept cutting us off and suddenly put us on hold. When he came back on the line he had realized his mistake. At that point he agreed to give us $125 back on the $200 paid for renting the jet ski and the full $250 back for the damage deposit, a total refund of $375. He told us it would take 2-3 business days for the refund to go through. A few days later we checked our account. There was no sign of a refund. Finally six days later when there was still no sign of a refund and no word or explanation from Joe, we contacted him via text asking if the refund had been made. He left a voicemail saying the refund had not been made because there was damage done to the jet ski. He said the intake had rock damage and that's why we were having issues using it. (However, the day we rented we told him there weren't any mechanical issues with the jet ski, it was simply a stability issue. We told him it worked great with just two people riding). I returned his call to tell him we were never near rocks and the jet ski worked perfectly in our care. Joe again lost his temper and promptly hung up on me. Joe's wife called me within an hour saying "Joe isn't very level-headed in these kind of situations." I told her as I had Joe, we were never around any rocks and the jet ski never had any mechanical issues, but that Ryan the employee said he and Trevor were planning on using it for the day after we passed it off to them. I asked if they had been questioned about it. She responded that the employees weren't available for questioning as they no longer worked there and that it wouldn't even matter if they did because we were the last renters on record. (Although there was no record as Joe never had us sign any release form or rental agreement). Even though we did not damage the machine in the small amount of time we used it, they were still charging us as if we did. She ended by saying we are keeping all your money and that's that, and promptly hung up. As it stands we are working with our credit card company to dispute only the charges Joe had agreed to refund us even though we paid much more. We are attempting to still be fair even though there is no indication of that being reciprocated. We are left stunned having dealt with a "business" that would extort their customers like this. And we are not the first to have this kind of experience with Utah Paddle Board Rentals. Other reviews indicate similar treatment. Our goal is to make other potential customers aware of the the inherit risk of doing business with Utah Paddle Board Rentals.
