What a beautiful landscape. I love the view and the waterfalls! People were in the pond at the base of the mountain. Had no problem with parking on a Wednesday afternoon. Pulled into the large parking area off the highway and immediately saw the waterfall.

On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, I drove out to Stewart Falls. And on the way there, I saw Bridal Veil Falls to my right side. There is a parking lot to the right side, off the highway, and the parking is a fairly decent size, not too small, nor too large. The parking is free, and you can stop and take videos or pictures of the waterfall. There weren't too many cars there when I went, maybe 2-3. I am not 100% sure if there is access to a trail from that parking lot. I know further up the road, if you drive up, I saw access to hiking trails. I did not see any restrooms there either. All in all, it's a short and sweet stop. And I would like to explore the trails there, near the stream.

This waterfall is one of the main outdoor attractions in Provo. We visited in December while it was below freezing. It was VERY cold because of the high winds so definitely bundle up if you visit during winter months. The falls were frozen but it was still pretty to see and we did walk a little bit. There was some construction at the time but it was safe and accessible for those who need it. Honestly, we didn't stay too long or walk the whole path due to the cold but I'm sure it would be even more beautiful during the spring, summer, and fall months. I would recommend going to anyone visiting Provo.

Bridal Falls got its name due to the tallest falls looking like a bridal veil when there is high water conditions. So beautiful, unfortunately I was only able to pass by. This time around I didn't have time to actually visit. But it was so lovely to see.

So pretty!! I feel the view of the waterfall is better from the parking lot for the scenic view. It's an easy hike down a paved road. The waterfall is really pretty and refreshingly cold on a hot day to put your feet in! Saw there were bathrooms by the falls but they were locked and with construction netting around them.

This is a well-known and well-loved hike in the Provo canyon. I call it a hike, but it's really a paved stroll with a moderately steep incline and a picturesque setting at the end. Along the way, there are picnic tables for you to stop and enjoy an afternoon sandwich or snack. I've heard there is a trail that leads you up to the waterfall itself, and that it is much more strenuous. I can't speak to that one since I've not tried it. There's a decent parking lot and porta-potties. Depending on the day of the week and time of the year, this place can get pretty packed. Go early, take your camera and prepare to run into lots of other folks there to appreciate Utah's beautiful nature.

Absolutely beautiful waterfall. Smaller ones close by S well. Easy to park right in front of and walk to it.

    Bridal Veil Falls, aptly named.

A 15 minute hike from the parking lot on paved trails will get you right at the base of Bridal Veil Falls. There are ample picnic tables, park benches and a few BBQ grills on the way. It's a popular spot !

Beautiful falls and easy access! It's only 3 miles in starting from the bottom of the Provo canyon. There's parking down below and usually full so if you continue to drive a 1/4 mile, there's overflow parking and an overlook of the waterfalls. There is a trail that will lead you down the mountain to the falls as well. There are honey buckets there, but no hand sanitizers or sinks. Come prepared! Luckily we found parking below and walked to the waterfall. The short walk is dog friendly, green, beautiful trees, and has plenty benches for for those who needs a short break. There are some bikers that uses the same trail so be courteous and move over to the right when you hear them from behind. There are people that would hike the wet rocks for a better picture next to the waterfall but I think they're absolutely nuts! Beautiful scenery and very kid friendly!

Bridal Veil Falls is a quick and easy walk up the canyon. The path is beautiful in every season, especially fall. Bikers, skaters, bladers, and walkers fire through this area. It's an easy walk on paved trail so anyone can do it. It's a really great place to go to just get outside for a little walk. Utah has many beautiful places, and this is one of it's most popular.

This is a really beautiful place with an amazing stream right there. During the weekend there is ice cream truck and shaved ice trucks. Compared to other falls I've been to this one is worth the drive and hike up. It's not a totally easy hike, but there are sections that aren't clearly marked so we went up some very treacherous climbing up very loose rocks and finely powdered area, pretty slick. So my advice is follow the path and most of it isn't too bad and if it becomes bad you may have taken the wrong path. Awesome view and the water will cool you off. Today was 90+ degrees

Water + Rocks + Falling = Waterfall Add a spectacular backdrop and the ability to practically walk right up to it and you have yourself an experience worth the travel to get here. It's called Bridal Veil Falls and I can see why. The tier it hits after it comes over the top of the rocks spreads the water like a veil. Apparently people can walk all over this attraction, which was kind of surprising for me to see. I wouldn't think this would be an interactive place, but I saw people all up close, enjoying the area below the "veil" tier and towards the bottom. Apparently the rocks that get wet are the places to get your picture taken. As long as it's okay, more power to them. I don't think I'm that sure footed. I was just happy to enjoy from the cheap seats. Ha! But no, it really is beautiful, and shows that you don't have to have Niagara Falls to find a natural treasure.

We didn't hike the falls since it's March and still frigid, but the views were glorious and the atmosphere peaceful on a Sunday afternoon!

Leaves starting to change at the end of September!

Combined with the steep incline, it was just slow going but no special gear was necessary. It's always the downhill with these conditions that get me, but I didn't fall this time. Yes, it is steep in parts but there were enough not so steep parts for you to catch your breath. With the sunny weather and a less hazy day, I was treated to a beautiful view of Provo, Utah Lake and all the surrounding mountains dusted with fresh snow. If you have time for only one hike in the area, this wouldn't be a bad one. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Squaw Peak isn't the steepest hike I've done in my life, but it was pretty steep! (Not steeper than the Y...don't worry.) The first bit of the trail is a gradual incline on the thicker paths of Rock Canyon Trail. After hiking on Rock Canyon Trail for a while, you turn left onto a smaller, poorly marked trail. This is Squaw Peak Trail! It is steeper, narrower, and more secluded than Rock Canyon trail. There are parts of the trail that are pretty easy to walk through, and there are other parts that are suuuper steep. It sounds tough, but anyone who is in average shape should be able to do it just fine. 2. The entire hike is gorgeous! The view from the bottom is pretty as you look up to the jagged-looking rocks. Then, the trail is pretty as it runs through densely packed trees and other plants. THEN, the view from the top is amazing!!!! On one side you can see the trees growing on the side of the mountain, and on the other side you can see the entire Utah Valley -- all the way from the point of the mountain in Lehi until far south of Provo! It is such a beautiful view. And there are beautiful, blooming flowers and plants covering the top of the mountain. 3. The ENTIRE hike, my head was getting swarmed by bees and flies. I had used fragrant dry shampoo and was wearing scented lotion, and it must have attracted them, because they would not leave me alone! I wish I had brought bug spray! We also saw a snake. It was actually huge. I heard something moving and looked near my feet and saw a thick, long, black and yellow snake right next to my feet!!!! I was sort of freaking out, but it ended up being okay. I looked it up after, and I think it might have been a kingsnake, which is non-venomous. #Phew! We also had someone warn us on our way up that they recently saw a rattlesnake on the path. So watch where you step, and stay on the trail! It took me and my cousin about 2.25 hours to hike to the top and 1.25 to hike to the bottom. I would give yourself at least 4 hours total to do this hike so you have enough time to enjoy the views at the top! It's worth it!

You can't beat the views here - all of the trails I've ever hiked in American Fork canyon are just stunning. It's my favorite canyon to hike, and my favorite place to be. I absolutely love it here.
