But what causes to make this location close over 1/2 an hour EARLY yesterday, July 23rd 2026 makes it difficult. As me and another patron looked puzzled to have the doors locked, I needed to get my package scanned as I sell online and has a deadline. Luckily, I traveled to the Westmont Post Office, hoping they have accurate hours as they are open later. It was. (wheh!) As a result of asking a few others, I understand this is not something strange, but that shortages of a staff has been the result. So this is more common than not. Luckily for me, haven't been to this DG location in many years. My local post office is great (the best out of dozens in the area (Northlake) as are the other dozens of locations in the past few years. And since the USPS makes it difficult to find the phone number to verify that they are actually open with the hours they post online (and at their location), I will avoid going to this location in the future. .

I established my business address in Oak Brook, Illinois at the U.S. Post Office located at 1314 Kensington Road. That was 44 years ago! I have been through countless Postmasters, in Oak Brook. After four decades of business growth, I have acquired and registered numerous Post Office Boxes in several States, Counties, and foreign jurisdictions. Using a cost-affective (not "cost-effective") Post Office Box, as a Branch Office should not be a revolutionary business concept. While the run-of-the-mill, government service at most postal facilities was somewhat spotty for a high-end, business-to-business, boutique advisory and consulting firm, OAK BROOK - HINSDALE HAS BEEN TESTED AS THE BEST OF THE BEST! I finally told her, if I had one I would have given it to you but this is what I have. She muttered the whole time while making my change.
