I received a notification that a package from Nordstrom Rack had been delivered by this post office on Monday and that it was 'handed to an individual'. I live in a condo building. Who did you hand it to, because I never received it?? I called Nordstrom Rack to inform them, and they kindly refunded me. I then reordered the same item. It was again supposedly delivered by USPS yesterday. Again, tracking states that it was handed to an individual. Once again...no package. Now, I have to ask, why would the post office hand a package, twice in one week, to a random individual at a condo building???? I called Nordstrom Rack once again to let them know that they could not trust this post office to deliver their packages. They agreed and promptly reordered AGAIN for me. This time, they will deliver to the store itself, where I will have to go pick up the item. I am currently in a foot cast, which was why I ordered online to begin with. Too bad that the USPS doesn't have the customer service that Nordstrom does. We might all actually receive our mail. And yes, I did call this post office. The phone rang about 50 times, then went to a busy tone, then hung up on me. Government at its finest. read more

A letter from Poland, got delivered there mid-Dec 2024, though I am in Naperville. 3 months later it arrived back to the sender in Poland. It stated "unclaimed", "unable to forward". The address on the envelope is the correct address and been there for 20+ years. Super frustrating and based on all the 1 star ratings something needs to be don. I put in 60 reports about this post office while I lived in Burr Ridge. They left certified mail in my mailbox without getting it signed too many times to mention blaming Covid still in 2025.My mail order prescriptions on many occasions did not get delivered causing bad problems with my health. They had substitute mail carriers for almost 18 months who had no respect for anything. Exceedingly rude Supervisors who take offense if you bring a problem to them. was going on I had some employees from this post office begging me to help them get rid of they treated customers this way how do you think they were treated! read more

Based on the other reviews (and now mine) the Willowbrook Carrier Annex remains a joke. We travel a bit and frequently put our mail on hold. It has become a game ... how much will actually get held vs how much will get delivered in spite of the hold. This last week we were away and held the mail for 6 days. NONE of it was actually held. We had a big pile of mail when we got home. Fortunately a neighbor saw the mail piling up and took some of it in for us. The Carrier Annex doesn't answer their phones so you have to go there to complain. It is not possible to "escalate" the complaint to a supervisor since (according to the person at the counter) they are always "in a meeting". And (based on the dates in other reviews) this has gone on for years. read more

This annex is a joke! I live in Darien so my mail comes from there. You walk in and it feels like a third world post office. Employees are not happy or friendly, complete opposite of the Westmont post office. I went to the annex to pick up my mail on hold and she gave me all the letters. Then said I should have some packages also. So she went back after five or 10 minutes and brought them back. I try to call and no one answers. Horrible place, with rude employees. When I went to drop off my prelabeled package at the loading deck area, she asked me to get inside their building and drop off the packages into their cart by myself. I told her I was not supposed to get inside their working area. What if I get hurt in their building? she said she doesn't care. she said she couldn't lift my package, but it was just around 30 lb. How did she get this job if she couldn't lift that weight? she just said to get inside the building and put your packages inside the cart by yourself, or go somewhere else. read more

Dropped my package off this past Thursday morning and should've known by the bad vibes something would go wrong. As a seller, I always want a receipt, but the lady didn't give me one(this location didn't even having a weighing system I don't think, couldn't see one). She took me package and there hasn't been an update since on that label(it's been 3-4 days). Where does my package go when that happens? The people who live on the cross street by my house got their mail very late last night and I never did get my mail (I was expecting about 6 items). This has happened before so I am left to guess that the carrier just quit delivering and went home. I have to assume this because this location doesn't answer phone calls. read more

USPS deserves a big fat ZERO for their mail service. I am elated that Amazon has their own delivery service now, so I no longer need to deal with lost or misdelivered packages from the post office. Several businesses that I shop online no longer use USPS to deliver their packages to their customers. All the great mail carriers are retiring and now we are at the mercy of lazy carriers that do not or can not read! Have lived in area over twenty five years, this Willowbrook Annex was okay years ago now it is useless, lazy employers, rude, mail is a crap shoot, forget hold mail start back service you have to go there will not deliver accumulated mail after a hold, close this place down and get Willowbrook/ Burr Ridge a real post office not annex where lazy people can hang out. read more

Another typical disaster with USPS. Why do people ship with them. Here's my story. I get a tracking number. Says my package on schedule for Oct 18 by 8pm...that is until Oct 19 when it changes to in-transit no ETA. Monday Oct 19 I get message my package is out for delivery as of 7:43am. At 6pm it still hasn't arrived. Status now shows held at Darien, IL post office at customer request. No Way. I never contacted USPS and on too if that there is NO POST OFFICE IN DARIEN, IL. What is wrong with this organization? Tried to call Willowbrook. Message says not open, gives no hours if operation. Is my package there. No idea. Will I ever get it? Doubtful. Why dont we shut down USPS, stop wasting taxpayer dollars and let UPS and Fedex handle this. Im infuriated as always when someone ships me something using USPS read more

The Willowbrook, IL postal annex is horrible. The phone is hardly ever answered during business hours. When walking in there isn't anybody at the front desk. When someone does come to the front desk, they are rude. When they have to "check in the back", it takes a long time for them to return. In general, terrible customer service. read more

I am a huge supporter of the USPS - They'll leave flat rate boxes at your door, you print off labels, then leave them out in your box to go out. How much easier could it be? Before moving to Burr Ridge, it was amazingly simple and always surpassed the service of FedEx / UPS. Well, this location makes it an utter nightmare. Packages regularly go missing, have wrong scan codes, or are redirected endlessly. It's also a continuous problem that I get my neighbor's mail, they sometimes get mine, or I just don't get my mail at all. You never know with this location. The one consistency they adhere to is you'll consistently be surprised. read more

I have been trying to call the post office for a lock change for over a week. No one answers the phone! I have tried numerous different days & times, no answer! How is this possible? I understand for an hour or two but days? A woman answered once, told me to call a locksmith. Then a carrier told me that was not true that the po would do a lock change & advised me to speak with Felix. I called again, same woman answered & she said he wasn't there that day, Jun 27 & to call back tomorrow. Here it is Jun 28, again I've been calling all day, no answer. I am very frustrated! The number is correct 630 323-3950. Not sure what is going on at that location. A manager needs to get in there & check out what's going on. Our regular delivery person is gone and a replacement is horrible. I've never had so much mail in my mailbox rather than where it belongs and my neighbors until recently. Also I got a note that there was postage due and boxes checked made no sense whatsoever nor did it say who the sender was and the date attempted delivery I was home all day and no one buzzed my condo. Our original carrier was wonderful and she had a great attention to detail. If I have to drive to Willabrook to get an envelope that perhaps may have already been delivered because the boxes on the note were not checked nor clear, I want gas money. This is crazy. read more
