This location dose not even deserve a star. I think Yelp developer should add this feature. Ok so here my experience today: First time there and promise never to go back. My mission was to drop off 2 packages but I needed some tape. So I thought I could use the company tape. Lol boy was I wrong she asked me to buy a new roll. I was confused because she had a roll right in front of her. She said it was a new policy for standard package mail I wanted to give a few words back by I didn't. I am disabled and it is hard for me to get out to run errands. I am constantly in pain and this post office is about 1/2 mile away from me. I took my son there and we had ten packages to drop off. He got 9 of them in on his first 2 trips, but on his third trip with the last package the lady behind the counter told him he could not leave it there and we would have to go to another post office. If there is a limit as to how many you can send in a day they should post it instead of just telling people no, go somewhere else. read more

The lady working today at 2:30-1/21/25 made me very uncomfortable after I waited in line for 10 minutes. I had 5 boxes of books and I all I needed was a cost. She said, out loud!, that everyone else in line was ready and she would have to log in for each box and it would take a long time. I left feeling embarrassed. She is rude and disrespectful and didn't even suggest a solution. Please have her take a class to better her customer service or better yet, hire someone who has respect and understandin. read more

My experience here was quick and effortless. The woman who helped me was kind and efficient.

The two usual people at this location are friendly and helpful, and manage to do both while still keeping their line moving. But it is only two windows, and sometimes just one clerk. If it is a busy time you can get caught in a line. MIght not be the best post office for you if you have a really time-consuming or complicated mailing issue, or are unfamiliar with how to prepare your mailable item. (No they don't have free tape. No post office locations hand that out anymore). read more

I was there to drop off a return package, I had a label and box ready to go. The clerk there mid age woman with a short blonde bob saw me, didn't even ask what I needed help with. Assumed and said I would need to buy some tape because the office does not supply free tape. I was so astounded by this rudeness and unprofessionalism, I told her thank you and walked off. I don't know where her assumption came from that she didn't even ask me what i needed before making her comment but she is not there to provide good service as a federal employee. Even if she is just following the rules there was no need for her preassumption and rudeness. I am very disappointed in USPS after this incident considering I much value their services to this point. I would give zero stars if an option. This location is the worst. No one is focused on doing more than the bare minimum to provide customer service. Services that are provided at other locations are not provided here and believe they make their own rules. I wish that my business had not changed PO locations due to construction traffic. There is a reason why this location gets little traffic (usually dead) and unkempt... Waste of time! read more

I got charged $33 for shipping to a DPO addres that was supposed to cost no more than $10. It was a new employee who didn't know what he was doing, and it was my first time shipping to a DPO address, I didn't know any better to argue it. They didn't refund me for their own mistake. The two white women with short hair...someone please tell them it is free to smile! WORST customer service ever. read more

This is by far the worst USPS I've been to. The other day I went in with 2 packages at 4:58pm and was taping the already paid shipping labels on. The lady came out and locked the door. I asked if I can just give her my 2 packages. She asked if they were already paid, I said yes. She said well you can put it through the mail shoot or go to the location on Mark IV!?!?!?! Really?!?!? A location that is 20 min away when we're already there. And guess what, the packages did not fit in the shoot. Never going to this location again. All she cared about was going home. I'm going to the location on Mark IV from now on. They help everyone even after hours. read more

Very rude employees and very very slow...they do not care about the customer at all. The white lady that has blonde hair is probably the rudest...but basically they are all rude. Sent 2 boxes to the same exact address in Puerto Rico from the Watauga USPS office in December 2015. 1 of the boxes made it to its destiny but the second got lost. I ended up submitting a claim which they never responded after 2 attempts, several calls to the Consumers Affairs office in Fort Worth, TX that they never responded, and long hours waiting for an agent on the phone. In case you have never contacted USPS 800 # their average hold time is 1 hour. 31 days later I got the box back to my house with a sticker saying that the box was undeliverable/person unknown, really? BUNCH OF LIERS!! How come the first box, which went to the same address made it fine?! I took the box back to the Watauga location to see what they had to say about the incident... and you would have thought they would accept they messed up and offered a solution for the inconvenience they caused.---I've worked in customer service for years, and the least I would had offer to an upset customer is a free overnight and a big apology...right? Well no, instead the lady, who was in charge of the office, said she could resend the box through the same cheap service...really? How in the world you think I am going to give my box back to the same guys who lost my box??! Like they say "you get what you pay for". I thank God for Fedex and UPS, my new package delivery companies! read more
