I used UPS for my Amazon returns and also my company has a corporate account that uses UPS strictly for all their shipping. I went into a different UPS store than my normal location. A trainee Addie Trujillo, said she would only give me one strip of tape & and couldn't guarantee the package not being opened during shipping. Every UPS store that I have visited in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex has always gone above and beyond with customer service and willingly offered to take my box out of the one out of 100 times that I may forget my tape at home. I was 45 minutes from my house and unable to have access to tape. I understand that each store only offers one strip of tape. Complaint is on the training Addie verbiage on, how my tape job was going to be performed by her. It was not a very confident that she was going to make sure that we tape this down with the one strip she was offering. Also, there was no stated on the amount of tape that she would give me. So I could've easily taking a 24 inch strip and broken end up four pieces and got the job done but the training made me purchase and embarrass me with the customers that were behind me because of how she pointed out on the return label as if I couldn't read. I'm in customer service sales to be exact, and if I was this franchise owner, I would definitely make sure the trainee gets more education training on how to help customers and also the messaging on what one strip is and not say that you're gonna get one strip and not confident in your abilities with that one strip. Then I offered to step out and run around the corner to the dollar store to get some cake and come back and the training said I would have to get a whole new code just for me leaving the box there and stepping out. I am not one to write reviews, but her tone and professionalism needs corrective action. Addie Trujillo was a trainee and I can guarantee, I will not be the last person to have a negative experience with this employee due to her lack of professionalism and customer service for UPS store. I watched two other employees in the store go above and beyond to help out customers with their shipping packages and taping, but I did not receive the same service from Miss Trujillo. read more

Bring your own tape! They don't tape boxes up and will suggest you buy their tape. Won't go back to this location. Failed to mention, I was returning an Amazon package which stated that I didn't even need to put the return in a box. ‍ I had no issue going to a different location where they happily taped up the package. read more

My sister was trying to ship a package cross county. Jeese was super unprofessional. First, he kept typing in the address incorrectly and going off about how there's only a 50/50 chance of delivery. When asked about why, he said nevermind it's 70/30 and then it was 100 when we asked for the package back. He would not return it and we had to correct the address. He was kept insisting that we said our last name wrong and he would know because he's married to an Asian. Okay, you're gonna say that to Vietnamese people...when you're Latino? What? I guess it's a great place if you want to gamble with whether your stuff will actually get where it needs to be. Best UPS drop off location in the mid-cities/Fort Worth area. Mornings are the best time to go because they do very busy from lunch to close. The employees have always been friendly, extremely quick, and helpful. I've purchased packing supplies, returned Amazon products, and also returned Charter Spectrum equipment. Almost a $200 package is now lost due to the driver dropping off at wrong location, tried to call the local UPS ( the Hurst location) store to only have a man help me for all about 5 minutes before being rude and telling me not to call the Hurst store when I live in Fort Worth and that Fort Worth UPS takes care of it... smh idc I live right near Hurst and that's the main store I use when I have used UPS myself. How rude of an associate to tell a customer not to call the store back and to call around the other Fort Worth locations. Tried to Email y'all with no response, couldn't file a claim for some reason even after entering more info on the website twice. Tried to even get through to customer service with you automated lady saying that "they can't help me" and when asking for a human she says "I understand you wanna talk to a rep but I need more info" when I have more info I was told they can't help and the package "was delivered" which yeah to the wrong F****** address. It says it's at a dock? Signed for by some one I do not know? Who tf is Kennedy? Not me. Get me my package back or I will never use UPS again. Leal at this UPS is rude. It was more than the language barrier, he made assumptions that because he does this all day that I'm to know what to do. I asked him for alternatives to the issue of the box not being sealed, when I clearly just heard another agent offer to a white patron to tape theirs, but Leal never gave me as a black patron the option. Knowing what I heard I then asked again for additional options and was given the words " whatever you want to do ma'am". To me this is horrible customer service for any race, creed, or religion on both sides of the counter. I know this may not matter to many at UPS but this will be my last return to your company. The length of time and the humiliation was not worth a "free" return. Oh it want free it cost me almost three dollars and a threat of not being able to ship my package unless o buy more from UPS. It seemed very purposely presented as a scare tactic, deviation tactic but also not necessary. Post a sign!! But ultimately treat all your customers the same. The emails from Amazon say drop off the package after getting the emailed code scanned. Nothing about tape. I will never use this store again. I suggest others avoid this dump also. Walked in here and was immediately asked to wait outside as only 6 customers were allowed inside at a time. So I went outside. A line behind me started to form. A guy in line outside decided to skip the line, and go inside. I put my yellow box of Monroe Brake shoe,s on the scale, right in front of her, and put the label and packing slip on top the box., All this time this woman is staring into wounder land, dose not say a word, . after a moment she looks at me and say,s can I help you ?, I point and say, that I need these brake shoes sent back to a compan y. she ask,s for the Shipping Label, which is sitting on top of the box. she picks it up and looks at it upside down. . I ask to speak to the Manager. He,s sitting half way towards the front of the store, looking at a laptop. I inform him about his employee. He starts making up excuses about how busy they are, not 1 other person in the store., Than he apologizes for the employee, who,d rather stare into space, than reply to a greeting and a customer coming in for service..The Manager comes to the counter, and tells the Flake he,ll take care of me. He goes on about how I should respect, his employee who,s dumber than the dumbest rock in the gravel pit.. I told him, your the fool who hired her, and you both should look for a new job. I was in a hurry so I made sure to print out all my tags for my items so it would be a quick in and out WRONG! they look at my return labels(which were emailed to me) and told me they needed the code. I tried to show him that it was a bar code to return the items as if I were dropping them in the drop off. Wasted 30 minutes having to call Amazon and get the code they wanted. I wish employees were trained better but I guess this is the type of help you get during COVID. read more

When I reviewed the shipping address the recipient's name and the sender's last name was misspelled and she told me to come back at 1:00 pm so that her manager can correct it. Informed her that I just needed to void the transaction then and was informed to come back at 100 pm. Who was the time to do that? The issue was not rectified at all. I always bring my amazon returns to this location. In the past they were fast, courteous and efficient. This time the employees were rude. I was returning a vacuum, but could not get it in the box. They let me know that in the future I was to have the item boxed and ready to ship. They were "helping me out"yesterday. That is not how its been and not what Amazon instructs. They told me I was supposed to print the label. Told me it was $1 to print one. I pulled out $1. But it was $1.52. I had to use my credit card. I asked why it was more. The man was argumentative, saying he told me this and that. I will go to Fedex or a different UPS location in the future. My friend had a similar experience in this store. He's older and they didn't offer to print his label. He let himself lose $20 because he didn't know where to print the label, didn't know they would. Was aggravated because I told him they would take care of him and they didn't. I thought it was a fluke, but after yesterday, it clearly was not. read more

I just went in here. From all the reviews I was a little worried, but they were totally fine. They greeted me when I walked in, weighed my return, scanned the amazon code and boom done. They did not charge me for anything and the whole transaction from walking in to walking out didn't even take more than a minute. read more

Had the nerve to say that he would only charge us $1 dollar for tape then said after we taped the box that he would charge us more because of all the tape we used for a giant piece that can't obviously use one piece of tape for each side and we had to use two boxes to even box it up. read more

I'm a frequent ups store customer, i rely on them for all of my business and personal parcels . Been a customer for years and I wasn't aware they had a " one piece of tape per customer policy " . I needed to do about $180 in international shipping but I needed to use their tape gun so that I could personally tape up my own boxes (I'm really picky about that) I've never had trouble borrowing it at any other ups store locations. Here though they don't seem to mind letting close to $200 worth of business go over $2 worth of tape they must not need the money so I took my shipments to fedex and they didn't even bat an eye when I asked to use their tape gun to get my boxes shipped out. Customer service and common sense goes a long way in the business world .... something they definitely lack here . read more
