I wish I knew her name but the lady who was at the hello kitty desk, helping us was so awesome. We came to do our passports and were late but she was so kind about it since we had taken our son out of his school in homestead just for this, but she was sweet with both kids and didn't feel rushed and helped with any mistakes I made with the documents. And they were short staffed and the line was building up but she never got rude or flustered. We have had really good luck with this post office and their employees it's our second time doing our passports here and both have been so smooth, we literally come here from far away just because it's much better than our closer post offices that's for sure read more

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this post office. I was waiting in line, which was mostly empty, while on a work call from my job. I did not approach the counter until I was acknowledged, as I didn't know whether the clerk was busy. When I politely asked if I had been called, the employee (who identified herself as "Liz") responded rudely and told me I needed to hang up my phone. I immediately ended my work call and approached the counter. I apologized and explained that I don't step up to a register until I'm waved over. Despite this, the employee continued to be hostile. Before leaving, I tried to end the interaction on a positive note by wishing her a better day. Her response was, "You need an education." This comment was completely unprovoked, disrespectful, and inappropriate for a customer-facing employee. I have never been treated so poorly at a USPS location. I've been coming to this USPS location since it was first built. The service has been up and down over the years, so my review today is for the service that has been provided more recently. The staff there now are kind, efficient and charismatic. I don't love going to any post office, but these ladies make it feel like less of a chore. In the past, the previous staff seemed to be in no hurry to process the line, but the staff there now are mindful of wait time and try to get you in and out as quickly as possible. read more

I had an appointment for a passport at this USPS location, only to be told--upon arrival--that the employee responsible for passports had already "done too many" for the day and decided she was finished. She had a completely dismissive attitude and offered no apology. Instead, she told us to come back as walk-ins on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays at 9am. So we did exactly that--showed up promptly at 9am--and were told (again) that she was "done" for the day...after completing just FOUR passports. It was only 9:30 in the morning. To make matters worse, she contradicted her earlier instruction by suddenly insisting we needed an appointment after all. The employee in question seems to work when she feels like it, makes up rules as she goes, and has no regard for people's time or planning. If USPS is going to offer passport services, they need to staff them with professionals who understand consistency and customer service. This was beyond frustrating--it was a complete waste of time, twice. read more

Worst costumer services. One of the lady that works there told us that they are "done" with the passports process. We had an appointment at 2:45-300 PM with not even a 3 month old baby, the baby was crying crying when he stop crying and were "ready" was 2:55 and she told us that they are done. OUTRAGEOUSLY rude and irresponsible!! A complete SHAME! They removed the closing time from BOTH the glass and the wall! It was 4.30pm and the employee stood in the doorway, saying "we are closed," when closing time is 6pm according to the USPS site!! When customers asked about the closing time, the employees REFUSED to answer, then closed and locked the door leaving several customers puzzled in the lobby. Horrible experience! Not only did a staff member tell me she didn't need to do me a favor by accepting my package when I asked her if I could simply put my email, but I was cornered by 3 of the staff members who were YELLING at me. I called for a family member to come to my help because they just kept on berating me. At the end a worker told the manager that she better do whatever she has to do to not allow me in again?! Like what? All that just for a prepaid receipt. I am DISGUSTED. The lady who helped me told me she didn't want to see my face anymore and hid in the back where I heard her talking trash to the manager about me. Arrived at 4:50 only to find the doors locked, lights out - the official closing time is 6:00 PM...of course, they thought that they were being slick by removing the closing time on the door and wall. The fact that the staff is surly and moody half the time is bad, but to close down more than an hour early on a business day? The staff in this branch is moody and rude. Their passport walk-in hours are arbitrary and depend on the mood they wake up in. Personally verified the walk-in window was 9-10am Wed and Fri. When I got there at 9 next day, they said it was only for the first 4 people!? And the supervisor refused to take us even though within window. I was not able to reason with the supervisor who started raising her voice and became like a toddler in a tantrum when I asked for branch manager & refused to give me her manager contact. I never have a good experience at this post office, today was the last straw. This is a disgusting post office. Went in at 6:30 on a Thursday, just to drop off an envelope to mail. The drop boxes were taped up not allowing to drop the mail in. There was a young lady employee with eye glasses inside the service center area. The door was locked, I knocked on the door and motioned my envelope so she can see it through the glass door and she rudely yells out with a look of I can't help you.."there's no drop box available". Another lady came in right after to also leave an envelope to mail and this employee in the service center turns off the light right when she's approaching the door. I had to go to the post office in Pinecrest, they're much nicer there and, they were open. From now on I'm going to the Pinecrest facility. read more

The treatment of the employees at this place is horrible, specifically an employee named Amber, she was super rude, she even left the office to argue with my husband, after asking for the Manager's number to complain, it is a total lack of respect. that they have Employees like these provide a service to the public that is clear, they have no idea what it is about, zero education, and they also laughed and made fun of us giving us a number for complaints, bad. Horrible customer service. I had printed a shipping label for a hoodie that said the item was 12 oz. The guy weighed my item and said I couldn't ship it because it was 1.1 oz and the measurement didn't match with the label which is total BS. I then asked to print a new shipping label with the "correct measurement" there and the man refused to do so. I went to the UPS store right next door on 136th street and gave them the same exact shipping label I had printed and they packaged and shipped my item to the USPS store to then be shipped from there right on the spot no problem no extra fees. The lady at the UPS store then told me that the man could've easily made a new shipping label, but he was just lazy. I went to that place to get the passport for my daughter with and appointment included, and she refused to provide me the service saying that I can fill out my application in the main time that she was taking my daughter pictures. ​First time at this post office location. I went because it was the nearest and fastest office they had appointments when I made it online. I took all the papers they needed to renew my daughter's passport, they were nice and attentive to us. The lady helping me took q long time doing the paperwork but it wasn't her fault. The copy and printers were not working. I felt bad for her. It has a big parking lot and it's located in a shopping center next to Total Wine, and in front of The Falls Mall. read more

Wish I could put no stars, second time in a row with bad customer service. The people working were useless. When the person before me asked for a pen, the lady sharply pointed away from her area and flatly said "over there. Next." 10 seconds is all she gave him and I was given less, minus the 20 second rant about how she had no tape for customers that were simply dropping off. She directed me out of a line, that built up to 10 people, and ordered me to purchase tape and make the line again, or go home. It's no wonder this location has some of the worst reviews of any South Florida USPS. If someone from USPS reads this, I suggest you look for new employees. You've lost me for now. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I never review these kind of places because no one really expects an experience at the post office. However, the encounter I just had with the two attendants at this post office was beyond appalling. I walk in with my 5 lb pup in my bag, politely greet the 2 attendants in the store, and provide the woman that was helping me with the ticket for my package. She does not even greet me before she barks at me saying "You know we don't allow dogs in here, right?". I said "I'm sorry but I can't leave her in the car - she'll die". Then the other attendant says "Well that's not our problem ma'am, you can leave the dog at home or outside". REALLY?! Because people take field trips to the post office and purposely bring their dogs, right? Once my package is brought out, the attendant tosses my package and ID at me, prompts me to sign and quickly says "OK you're done bye!". Despite the fact that not allowing dogs in a post office is not posted anywhere, I respect that most establishments do not allow pets. The issue is their customer service skills, their communication skills, and their people skills. The worst part is that they suggested that I leave my pup in the car or outside. Do they tell parents that when they walk in with their annoying kids?! No. Terrible customer service, terrible human beings. read more

Note - the counter service does not open until 8:30am. The lobby with the automated shipping robot and PO boxes is open 24 hours. Post offices are usually a bad experience. I am under the suspicion that there is a better way to ship things, but have not yet determined what that is. Expect long lines. That is not specific to this location. Post offices and Disney seem to be some of the last places on earth where people are willing to stand in long, long, LONG lines for anything. However, that is to be expected and doesn't affect my rating. I found the staff to be helpful and knowledgeable. There is a wide variety of shipping supplies as well as a machine that prints out the shipping label for you, which can save about 45 minutes on a busy day. read more

Terrible experience! I went to pick up a certified letter that was attempted to be delivered. The sole gentlemen working at the counter who initially helped me couldn't find it. He gave it to his "supervisor". She; "Zaida" came out and said that I asked for redelivery because the letter was not there. I said that was not accurate and that its certified therefore I would need to be home. She said " Oh well" you have 15 days or its returned to sender. Nasty, miserable woman. I don't know why people are bashing on Karen, but she took care of my passport needs today with a smile on her face! She was pleasant to talk to, answered all my questions, and even gave my toddler a sticker as a reward for getting her passport done. She was so friendly, and I couldn't have asked for more. (Note: My appointment was scheduled for 11 AM so maybe the fact it was early and she hadn't seen so many customers might have helped). Enrique needs to retire. He's too old to be able to listen and answer a simple question correctly. Apparently their policies for picking up packages is completely different than the rest of the country's postal system. After sending my partner to pick up a package after carefully following instructions, he was turned away twice. It seemed the only way to get my package since it could not be redelivered was to take off work to drive 30 minutes to just get yelled at. When I went in with my partner, I asked Enrique why I couldn't have someone else pick up the package with the signed slip I was left. It had a designated section to have someone pick up my package. He said the person picking up the package needed to have MY ID with the delivery address on it. Isn't it illegal to be without your ID? I moved last week, my id doesn't have the delivery address yet without scanning or investigating my out of state id, he was able to accept it. I asked one question as to why he couldn't give the package to a representative as instructed on the slip I was given, and he started yelling at us! Telling us we needed to leave and to never come back! I couldn't understand his policies and I wanted to understand them for next time since this is my new post office. We never raised our voices, but he saw our questions as an attack to him. He saw our questioning his policy to better understand them, as disrespect. Questions are not disrespect, Enrique. We are trying to work with you so we can do this again in the future. Apparently we're banned from a post office for trying to understand different policies?? Make this make sense. read more

Was told, after standing in line, that they would not loan me a pen to fill out the mail form I needed because " we steal them"... after begging, one nice employee loaned me his. This has to be the rudest staff of any of my local post offices. I always try to give them another chance and they never fail to disappoint. Two. Days ago I gave only because the customer service shocked and appalled my husband and I. The postal worker handling passports nastily pointed to where applications were supposed to be (no holder and no applications were there) and was put out when we brought this to her attention. My husband was filling out his application with the one pen at the table so I went to the table by the long line to fill mine out. She had to have seen me as I was in front of her station. We waited patiently for our turn and she looked at mine and said "This is in blue ink. Black ink only. You must read directions" referring to the small print. She doesn't know that all of their other pens have blue ink? I find that impossible to believe! I asked for another application which she gave me in a way acting like she was paying for it. This woman never greeted anyone and never smiled. She acts like she's doing us a favor by dishing out an attitude that seemed to be upsetting many people waiting in the long line. She seemed very competent but almost angry. She went on break (leaving only one worker. The other woman helped us finish the process. She was personable and much more pleasant. I have to return today and hope the experience is more pleasant. Everyone has bad days but should try not to pass them on to people you come in contact with. The review above was the other day. Today I upped it to 4 stars because today was a day. The same woman was sweet, kind, friendly, and helpful!! She smiled. Both workers were this way today!! I had a 10:30 am appointment, waited until 1045 for the lady to come out, and when she came out and did not greet us instead simply asked " name?" She didn't ask my son how old he was, he said he was 22. She informed him that he needed to have his birth certificate with him and that the drivers license but not suffice. She then asked if he had his birth certificate I replied yes I'm his mother we have the birth certificate she replies to me "am talking to the applicant not you". I then asked her to lower her voice because I did not feel that the entire post office needed to know what our transaction was about and her reply to me was "that is how I speak". read more

Do yourself a big favor and avoid frustration and hard times. Just don't go to this Post Office. Extremely incompetent people. The manager will do anything to protect the employees inefficiencies. The customer is never right. No excuse for priority Mail lingering for 3 days in their office with no action. After 5 days they decided to send back package to sender due to an 8 oz shortage in postage. I lost the sale and the customer and got negative feedback.
