This is turned into a real problem. This post office is way understaffed. And too many people living in the neighborhood. Now the machines for the self service are also not working. The line is out the door and is inhumane have people standing in the heat out the door. It is inhumane to have the employees two employees dealing with all these people from all these different countries, sending packages all over the world. Even UPS is more organized and that's sad, especially since you represent the United States. This has turned into an everyday problem. Please get yourselves together. Came two days before Christmas eve at 10.22am and we flew through it. The parking is a bit tricky as people are crazy in Miami and it's shared between lots of businesses. Staff was quick and nice, nothing out of the ordinary but thankful for their efficiency. read more

I came here today to drop off two shipments and this little old man has an attitude I told him I'm here to ship two orders and he makes me buy a whole new envelope for one order and I told him why this envelope came with the package so why am I buying a whole new envelope he said I need to buy it and that's OK where's your supervisor he continue saying he didn't have a supervisor and gave me a number from snapper creek and that number I calledit over 10 times and they did not answer me once . i proceeded to tell this old man about his attitude he called me stupid in front of all the customers I think that is extremely rude and he deserves to be fired every time I come here he's always with an attitude and next time they should be a supervisor here read more

This is one of the toughest post offices to spend your time in. Because it's a free-for-all. As far as I can remember since the 80s, if you're in line at a post office, it's because you haven't a need to fill anything out. But if you have to fill something out, you have to fill it out and then get in line. Today I had to call out, someone that was filling out their stuff and trying to move forward in line. Everyone else was telling him not to do that and to get back in line. Here comes the manager on duty and this lady always allows people to do this. Especially if someone is complaining, this woman takes it upon herself to do what she shouldn't. It seems like she has a personal issue with other people calling people out for doing stuff that they shouldn't do. Because she always always sides with the person who's breaking the rules. I asked the gentleman who attended me finally, and he had no idea what her name was. He, Arturo, is either too old to be working there or needs to have a refresher course on the names of his employees. There's not a lot of them. And this old man said that this lady who was the manager in the room, he didn't even know her name. he wanted to call her Milly, but he wasn't sure about it. Also, if you're going to be working with the public, your hair shouldn't look like it's been dipped into bacon grease. You work for the federal government and you should definitely look like you work for the federal government and not look like you live underneath the bridge. Some self respect may allow her to deal with the public, with RESPECT. Rude employees. This isn't the first encounter with a Particular employee which I don't know what her name is but she's a blonde Cuban lady who greets people with "may I help you??". I was shipping a flat rate priority bubble mailer less than a pound and she made a show saying I can't use that label with that packaging because it's flat rate and the label costs less than the packaging (the label is $6.95 and the packaging is supposedly $8). Excuse me. I order these in bulk for FREE from the USPS website and they are shipped to my home by USPS themselves. I don't need to pay $8 for it. Secondly, not only have I been using this packaging for over a year- but I come to the counter EVERY time to obtain a receipt and the only person that has a problem with this is THAT woman. I never have a problem anywhere else. She was basically yelling at me not to do it again and treating me as if I didn't understand the concept infront of a line of about 20 people. I did understand the concept. But she is wrong. I even told her to look at the label I was using. Ridiculous. Next time I WILL call the 800 and hold up the entire line. This is not how you treat customers. This is not how you go about doing your job and doing whatever "you" think is right because you (as she said) "want to do my job right and if other employees do it wrong that's on them". I came in on a Tuesday 1 :17 pm. The line was so long,, to the back of the store (front enterance). The employees dont care about efficiency and I was there until 2:02 pm. You read that right. 1:17-2:02pm. ON A TUESDAY. Other times I have walked in right at 9am and it is also packed. I wouldn't come here. Parking is also another pain. read more

This post office is the nearest and fastest to my house. I took the box I needed to send by mail and they helped me nicely. There were a lot of people but the employees here work fast. It has a big parking lot and it's located in a shopping center on Kendall. read more

This post Office has pretty much the same problems as any other post office or government office for that matter. Mostly rude employees Lines that seem to never end And what is seemingly an insurmountable lack of efficiency. But hey compared to other post offices at least this one has a little kiosk for quick service, if you all ready have your labels printed. You are good, sweetie! Me: Thank you! Worker: Have a nice day! Conclusion: The place may get packed at times, but the workers are to-the-point and friendly. Aside from the one guy who is really nice to me, the rest of the staff are pretty grouchy around the clock. On top of that, this particular location has some serious issues. For one, there aren't enough registers so the line backs up all the way to the door. "Use the kiosk" you say? Sure, except they are typically out of supplies at the self serve kiosk and in order to get some you need to sneak up to the front of the line, wiggle yourself in between the "You're all set"and "Next!" without getting murdered by the angry mob that's been waiting in line for the last half hour (probably wishing they could use the kiosk too). Granted, some people don't like to use it or don't know how to. But damn, this lineis ridiculous here. Even for a post office. Also, there is a constant MOUNTAIN of packages up front near the registers. It starts in a bin until it overflows and pours out onto the floor and several new piles are created all around the bin. These packages spend all day here vulnerable to damage and theft. I assume this is the drop off but I just don't know for sure. There isn't any proper signage and I just don't understand why some packages are left there and why some are dropped into the "Drop box" on the wall. This one woman argued that my package was over by twenty ounces and that I had to reprint my ebay label. The box weighed 1 lbs. and POINT 20 OUNCES ( 1 lb 0.20 ounces) She says to me "you paid for 1 pound and this is over by TWENTY OUNCES." Even sadder, another employee stepped in and backed her up. For starters, the parking is usually a pain. The line, no matter the time of day, is always backed up practically to the door. I usually do self serve, but sometimes I have to make that line to get a pre-paid package scanned and get a receipt. Sometimes I just need proof that the post office received it. I wish there was a way to do that with self-serve. IMO, one of the reasons the line gets so long is that people walk up to the counter and are just not ready. Folks, your package will not get there without an address label. The mail folks are not psychic. So any forms or labels that they need for their package will be filled out right then and there. While we wait. I would love to see at least one more self-serve machine. As with everything that is self-serve, you sometimes get someone ahead of you with no freakin' clue. read more

People! You have teach yourself on how to use the Automated Postal Counter (APC). It will save you time and maybe a little money. You can purchase stamps, mail pretty much anything, and pay for your PO box plus a myriad of other things. Just walk up to it and navigate. If you own a smartphone, then you're sophisticated enough to use it. The only reason you should ever wait in line for a live body is to send something out through media mail. This post office is ok. Just this week I stopped by 11 minutes after they opened and the line was backed up to the front door! Of course the automated machine was broken so I had to leave and come back later. When I stopped by again a couple days later around 10:30am the automated machine was working again and there was only one person waiting in line. This place is so hit or miss. I don't think I've ever seen a line of a few people. It's always either empty like my final visit or impossibly busy. The employees are usually friendly and prompt, but not always. Parking is available in the shopping center lot. That's a whole other issue though. The shopping center is home to a Presidente grocery store, a Ross, a Walgreens, a dollar store, and a big medical clinic... there's nothing but old drivers that really shouldn't be on the road any more. Super convenient because of the location BUT the parking situation can be..frustrating to say the least. They are efficient behind the counter but sometimes to get a smile out of some of them is hard! Most of the time I've encountered friendly folk and I'm usually out of there within 5 minutes which is great when I'm in a rush. CHECK THEIR BUSINESS HOURS before going. They close early on Saturdays and the hours of Post Offices vary by location. I do not give 5 START. But this office move me to tell you Yelp followers that the person that took care of my package was above and beyond helping me. Not even told me to use a different envelop to save me money on their service, she help me to avoid the waiting line to the counter. That office have a service desk at the entrance and this wounder fold lady ask me if she can help me with the package. That is how I came off the waiting line to the service counter. It might not be close to my house ; but I get way better service than the one located at 13520 sw 152 street!! When I've needed to send any type of package to my children in the military they have always beenready to help out. This store's customer service sucks, I went to try to mail a package internationally but left the store without doing so, lady by the counter helpful with price check and gave me form to fill up to complete but unable to lend me a pen, sent me to another counter where an employee was helping other customers , I asked him if he could lend a pen he said no and tried to send me back to the front counter where I was, wtf a post office without pens for their customers to use, this is under federal and no pens, management needs to come up with some improvement with this store, pls! read more

If I could give zero stars for the way that I was treated today at this post office, I would. A different customer who wasn't me asked for help at a self-service kiosk, and the same woman who was rude to me told that person that she couldn't help her. She said that she couldn't leave the desk to go and help her and that there was nobody there who could help her. In the entire facility. THAT IS HILARIOUS! Theres not much that I look for in a post office...but one of the few things is speedy service. This particular post office always has a line out the door and the service is slow as can be. Nice Automated Postal Counter. I'm amazed on how many people wait in line here. One of the staff helped out an elderly gentleman spazzing out on the Automated Postal Counter while I was there. It looked as though he should have gone a few businesses over and play kachinko machines. read more

i went back today since i forgot something important that went with the package i mailed here the other day with complete intention of using the automated system. the line inside was 2 times worse than it was on friday, and when i broke through the line to get to the automated machine, i find out its broken and they are fixing it, so no only was the line backed up but the only other option was out, and so was i as i went right back to my car... ill wait till tomorrow morning and send my letter express. read more
