Let me preface by saying that I'm giving 2* simply because the gentleman that actually assisted me was helpful. Otherwise it would be -0. I rarely go to the post office anymore. I do almost everything online. We were supposed to be in the hospital for a month for my husband's transplant. I put a hold on my mail since we would not be at home. After about a week, I was basically kicked out due to COVID protocols so I needed to cancel the hold. Unfortunately, I could not find my confirmation number so I had to do it in person. Many moons ago, when our house was 1st built, I'd pickup my mail at the Dutch door by the P.O. Boxes. So I wasn't sure if to go there or make the line. The clerk closest to the door was not busy, just waiting for someone to fill out forms. So I said, "excuse me" and she turned her head like the exorcist and glared at me. I asked if I should make the line to cancel a hold or... she did not let me finish. She snapped "yellow form on the wall!" I asked, to stop a hold? Again she barked but with eye roll, "yellow.form.on.the.wall!" So I fill out the form and make the line. Fortunately, the clerk that assisted me was the gentleman sitting next to her. He was helpful but since I had handed him the card, he had proceeded to place a mail hold. He informed me that the card was to place a hold. I simply said, that I thought so. The woman exploded and stated yelling about how I had said that I wanted to place a hold. The gentleman was trying to ignore her as he went to get my mail. He is probably used to her. I'm sure that they have video surveillance and I hope that they have audio so they can hear how this woman speaks to people. I am an emotional wreck at the moment with my husband and all. I was trying my best not to cry in public. And not give her the satisfaction. In all honesty, this woman should not be allowed to work with the public. May the universe give her everything that she puts out there. read more

This has got to be the worst post office branch in 100 miles. It's dirty, smells like feet, thrash everywhere, minimal staff on duty with zero efficiency or speed. It's no wonder USPS loses money every year. The government is horrible at running anything. read more

This is the worst usps location ever. Employees don't want to help and refuse to search for box. I had a notice for pick up at this location, when I arrive the lady helping me says she can't find the box that it's not there that she doesn't know where it is. Tells me she will let the supervisor know. I told her I can't drop off my daughter late twice that I will wait for the supervisor. With attitude she tells me that she can't call her only page her and that the supervisor will come out whenever she wants. I told her I will wait all day if necessary but I won't make the trip twice. When the supervisor comes out I explain the situation and she just grabs the slip and goes to search for the box, after walking back and forth she finds the box and comes to the front and tells me to sign with an attitude,like if I was wrong for waiting for my box that "wasn't" there. Horrible service, long lines with rude employees. I do not recommend. Staff was sarcastic and had absolutely no common sense or manners. Spoke to me as if I was stupid while rudely chewing gum. The staff seemed to be more interested in their vacation days/overtime and hours worked other than giving the costumers the costumers service they deserve.. As a person with over 5+ of working in the costumer service business I suggest the people in charge of here replace their WHOLE staff for new ones :) I will not be returning to this location ever again !!!!! read more

The lack of competent management is beginning to bring the quality of service down. Packages are being "temporarily misplaced" and the advantages of renting a post office box aren't what they were because picking up your packages is taking just as long as everyone else. It might be time to change locations. read more

I had to write an update review - still 5 stars - because I'm still in awe at the excellent customer service. This place can get really packed. But when the lines are long, they always have an employee working at every counter. They're truly maximizers. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to other locations and with really long lines, they still only have 2 people max working. Not here; I usually see 4 to 5 people working the counters. In addition, they'll have an additional employee going through the line, person by person, asking what service they need and what payment method they'll be using so that they can try to take care of them right then and there. I have never seen that at any other post office location. They are as efficient as they can possibly be. If there's a long line, it isn't their fault. This location just tends to be extremely busy. But here, they are always well-staffed (never understaffed) and all the employees give 110%. Plus, they are ALWAYS so friendly. I come here very often, at least once a week if not more, and I can definitely vouch for the consistently excellent customer service. read more

I had a problem with a package I had and the person who I spoke with was extremely rude and was in a rush to get rid of me. He told me that my package had returned to the sender, but I persisted to tell him that it can't be because the sender had given me proof that they didn't have it. He decided to put me on hold and then finally told me, that they still had the package and gave me attitude to when I was gonna pick it up and then he hung up the phone. read more

This is the worst incompetent mail services. Almost weekly I get my next door neighbors mail. My back door neighbor's. My front door neighbor's. Even the house in the corner. I'm always on stress. Is my neighbor going to get sensative documants meant for my eyes only. Are my neighbors opening my mail. Of course it's against the law. But who really follow them. Most goes lost. I understand covid delays. But to send a medication that I need to another county is ridiculous. I was waiting for 3 days. At my window. Doing absolutely nothing. Just waiting. The tracking says today at 5:45pm. Then dissapears. The next day 5:45pm. Then the tracking dissapears again. And today now when I'm feeling symptoms of withdrawal. I find that it was taken to another county. That is absurd. It was here already in miami. Now it's God nows where. And I can't talk to anyone until Monday. It's unbelievable the callousness of it all. Heart problem well then you're probably dead. Insulin, well probably shock in setting in. For me I can't even walk. And it's not from a delay. It's from being shipped away from my near by post to another post because they are being completely carless. My God. I have zero faith in this post in my area 33165 Olympia heights. Shame! This rating is for USPS.com click and ship. This service is so convoluted website. Old information personnel don't even have a clue to these policy's. The contact us is a waste of time more than 30min of wait time and they never answer, because they have a heavy call volume, yet they claim on their recording their service is top notch. Wouldn't that be a claim for FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Their online system is slow and very so behind the times. Packages are lost constantly and insurance is a joke. They maybe the oldest service available today, but they are right on that because they are dated... OLD... You pay for service, yet when you go to purchase postage they act as though they are doing you a favor. They even go onto tell you they aren't government employees. Who cares they service is so poor that's why they lost a majority commercial business to FEDEX and UPS. Way to go losers... read more

Worst post office in the history of post offices I've ever dealt with. I made a mistake with my address and entered the wrong zip code and my package ended up here. I called to let them know I entered the wrong zip code and to correct it and reroute it, but the man was ridiculously RUDE, took forever to get the phone, kept cutting me off. Then had the nerve to tell me to use the right zip code when I need something delivered in the future. Are you serious?? Anyway it's been over a week, still haven't received my package and no tracking info has been updated on the website. I have been calling all day today to NO RESPONSE.... You call the 1800 number and you can't speak to someone live.. So much for good customer service and someone always available to help you... NOT! Get a better staff! read more

I had the most pleasant experience at this USPS location this morning! The people were very friendly, helpful, and efficient. I felt inclined to write this post after reading so many negative reviews, as I had braced myself for a negative experience. I was pleasantly surprised! I arrived at the post office around 8:45am and there were three workers at the desk and no customers in line. I walked straight up to the counter and gave one clerk two slips of paper for two packages that USPS had tried to deliver to my home when no one was there. I expected to wait a few minutes while the clerk located my packages. However, he emerged from the back room In less than five minutes with both packages in hand. He asked me for my identification, which I appreciated, to ensure that he was handing the packages to the right person. There were two other customers in the store with clerks while I was being helped, and I couldn't help but notice that all of the clerks were chatting and smiling with the customers. Based on the other reviews, it seems this location gets very busy mid-day. Therefore, I would recommend swinging by this post office early in the morning if possible to avoid wait times. I will definitely come back to this post office location when mailing packages in the future! read more
