This place is an absolute joke. Easily one of the worst customer service experiences I've had anywhere. The staff is beyond rude--talking down to customers, raising their voices, and acting like you're an inconvenience for simply asking a question. I was treated with zero respect and spoken to in a humiliating way in front of other customers. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. If you don't want to deal with people, don't work in a customer-facing job--simple as that. We're literally paying for this service, and this is how customers are treated? No accountability, no courtesy, no basic decency. Management needs to step in because this kind of behavior should not be tolerated anywhere. Avoid this location if you can. The clerk that assisted me is extremely rude. It seem she is rude to females and selectively patient and kind with males. She screamed and yelled at the lady that came in after me and has a clear case of a power trip. She also fraudently completed the satisfaction survey that comes up on the screen when the transaction is complete, even though I specifically expressed I was not happy and was frustrated with her handling of my transaction and of others before me. She literally yelled at the lady that came in behind me for no reason. She made me step to the side to fill out the certified mail receipt copy that is mine to keep, and attended the male customer behind me instead. Yet she was so patient with the male customer in front of me she filled out the labels and forms for two packages for him and had me waiting for at least 10 min behind a customer who was not actually ready to send their packages. I'm pretty sure this is against their protocol. She should not be filling out his mailing forms for him (she definitely didn't do it for me). Then when it was my turn, she made me step to the side to add the mailing address to the copy of the return receipt that is mine to keep, for MY reference, insisting that it is her copy when that is incorrect. i have sent certified copies many times before. All information was complete there was no need to make me add the address on my copy and make me step to the side to attend the male customer behind me. If anyone needed to be asked to step aside, it was the person before me with whom she spent 20 minutes with and did all the work for him. At the end of my transaction she stapled MY COPY of the certified receipt to the payment receipt and handed it to me. I said, see I told you, that's my copy! You made me step aside to fill out a paper that is my copy to keep, not yours. And she said I'm sorry my mistake and then completed the survey on the screen for me when it was clear I was not satisfied. Very bad experience. This clerk should be reprimand for her rude and notably different treatment of female customers, and for fraudulently completing the satisfaction survey for me. She robbed me of the opportunity to rate my experience on the usps survey, so I am now reporting my dissatisfaction here. read more

Bad place. I had a 7:50 am appointment to issue my passport. There was no one there, the person arrived at 8:15am, went first to have coffee, was dragging his feet and still thought it was bad when he looked at my ticket with a time of 7:50am, he asked me to sit down and wait, I waited for more than 30 minutes. I went in here tonight to send out a package, it's open until 9:00pm. There's lots of parking spots. Inside, is a good clean space with two automated self-serve/APC units. I used one of the self service machines and everything was quick and pretty straightforward. There's lots of pickup times for dropped off mail here, with the last time being 7:30pm during the week and 6:30pm on Saturdays. read more

This USPS location is a bit out of the way for most, as it's located near the end of one of Miami International Airport's runways. The only reason I've come here is because the full-service counter is open until 9 p.m. which is by far the latest of any post office in the Miami area. That said, nothing I've sent from here recently has arrived on time. I had one package that I sent via USPS priority about a month ago on a Tuesday evening. It was supposed to be delivered that Saturday, but according to the tracking info, it wasn't even processed through the distribution center in Opa Locka until the following Monday! It finally arrived at the destination 10 days after I'd sent it. Again, I shipped it priority, not ground. The next item I shipped was a Christmas gift. I shipped it on the 17th via priority, as the woman at the counter told me shipping priority would get it to the destination for Christmas, though the shipping cost wouldn't be cheap by any means. It finally made it to its final destination on December 28th...A full 11 days after I'd shipped it, and about 4 days too late to arrive in time for Christmas as I'd been promised. I guess FedEx/FedEx Ground or UPS get my business from now on. read more

There is no one with that signature, you have to find out that there are thieves making deliveries. You can't say you made the delivery without having done it. this is wrong! you have to do something to solve this if not I will look for my rights! This signature is false and does not prove anything. it says that it received F.FIRM and in the signature there is another name. Impossible to get in contact with a person to spoke with at this location. The 800# gave me different information. I have already 3 different versions and the boxes are lost! This post office is absolutely TERRIBLE Our mail Carrier talks on their personal phone having personal conversations ALL day during their ENTIRE delivery route. Cards and mail are missing. Any time someone sends a holiday card it gets STOLEN before it arrives to us. We have had family and friends send us cards just to test the Post office THEFT theory and the cards that looks like they might have money or gifts are always stolen and we never get them. Half the time we get other people's mail and not ours. The informed delivery service doesn't work with this post office location. I don't think they even bother to try doing it for customers. I will be calling the Post Master General AGAIN on this Post office location. read more

Ah our good old postal service. Founded by the same dude painted on the $100 bill, it provides a RELATIVELY reliable delivery of snail mail for a low price. Sure, it's employees are the butt of a few off color jokes when they have workplace disputes but anyway.. Typically it's a solid, reliable 3-star deal. Most of my (well Luna's) Christmas cards come on time. Ditto when I've ordered some books online and free shipping is offered. Most of my correspondence throughout the year is electronic, including bill payment. But when they mess up..well Exhibit A is the image attached from a Christmas card we (were supposed to) receive. Checking my mailbox last night, I find an open greeting card envelope with the plastic sleeve and message shown. No claim ticket, no contact information, nada. You ever see something you ordered is being delivered by USPS and just shrug because you know it will be late or not delivered at all? That's what you get with this post office. This is by far the worst post office I have ever had the displeasure of using. EVERY package gets delayed or marked for pickup without attempted delivery, or delivered to the wrong address. Did you decide to go actually go there to pickup? Big mistake. On the chance they didn't actually close early, you still won't get your package. Want to complain? Good luck. You have to go through the national USPS website and you might get an email 3-4 weeks later. They steal mail. They mark your packages as delivered when they haven't been. They lie about attempted deliveries. They treat you like scum when you go there looking for your items. How is this place still in business? How has no one intervened and put a stop to this nonsense? This is unbelievable that a business can function this way. These workers should lose their job and this location needs investigating. They've lost my gifts, they've lost my medicine and they've closed the door in my face when I went to pickup. Now that my daughter set up my YELP ACCOUNT. I can find time to type up reviews about local places I visit. This post office has been open for a very long time. I am somewhat happy with this location. There are times some employees make up for lack of customer service in others. Most of the time everyone is in a great mood. This post office is very clean and the parking lot is nicely done. I would much rather come to this post office than others in the area. Thank you all for the hard work you do at the post office. On the good side, their hours are fairly good for a midtown post office. There is one down the street that is not open on Saturday. On the down side, the passport clientele hanging out and using the self-service kiosk as a chair (one sitting on the scale and one on the top) shows that no one is minding the store. Also a problem with most post offices is here too: lack of supplies for Priority and Express mail. I think every store in America, except the post office, cares enough about their product and sales to make their store presentable and stocked with plenty of product. Not the Post Office. It's no wonder they are languishing, they just do not care. When we arrived, there were no Priority Mailing labels available, no Priority stickers or tape, and so we had to wait in line to ASK for the supplies. I asked for a stack of labels so I could use 2 and put the others out on the kiosk. AFTER DOING THIS WORKER'S JOB FOR THEM, no thank you of course, they ASKED US TO GET OUT OF LINE TO FILL OUT OUR LABELS. The other thing that the worker did was they did not inform us that the flat rate packaging for our distance and weight would be less expensive, and I ended up paying about $10 more for the 3 packages than I needed to. Been trying to call this post office for over an hour from Philadelphia regarding a missing package that I sent to an address they service. Just rings and rings and rings and then I get a message saying "The person at extension 0691 is not available, please leave a message." But then you CAN'T leave a message because the mailbox is full. It then says to press '0' to speak to an attendant. Then if you press 0, it says "A valid attendant number has not been specified." On the official USPS website, the phone number for this branch is listed as 305-470-0689, but when you call THAT number it just rings indefinitely. read more

This is the worst post office service I have ever encountered. I pay to have stuff overnighted weekly and it never makes it here even with a signature. It is not just one item it's EVERY ITEM! Then I call and can not speak to any one and they do not care how important something is. I have medical records I need by tomorrow and it's a holiday and now I don't have them. I always have to come here to pick up things for work and it's always a quick in and out..or mostly I should say. The women behind the counter are super friendly and extremely helpful. One lady gave me a high five after she finished helping me. I always manage to be lucky and park right in the front making it easy to get to the P.O. box. Only down fall is I don't know what company it is but there's some building by there that just seems to always be burning something so it just smells like smoke which is not helpful to my asthma but I run quickly in and out and life is good. read more

Always closed before the time scheduled ... Drop off without scanning Area closed too. One of the last times I dropped a package there *without scanning* was lost for days and when went to ask them about It They said: We can't do anything Call Usps or Go Online (while they had the package behind the walls) Also It takes always longer to be in transit than other Post Offices ... Lourdes Z. if you think this branch is bad, try going to the one on 6200 NW 7TH ST. Though some USPS employees do milk their job, the problem is unprepared customers. If whatever it is your are mailing is not boxed or in an envelope and ready to go, then you have no business being in line delaying others that ARE prepared. This is one of the main branches so they have a bigger staff and things operate smoother than some other smaller locations. This branch is A-OK. 3 stars! read more

Awful!, I sent a package to an address that is literally a block away and they were unable to deliver it because according to them it was "undeliverable as addressed" and even though I was able to prove that the address was correct they still returned the package to me(it took me almost a month to get it back) and I had to pay again to resend the package back.... Ps: Do not even bother calling the 1 800 number nor the local P.O. as their do not have a remote notion of what customer service is. read more

Convenient location if you're in Doral, Miami Springs etc. Pretty easy to get to. Only bad thing is dealing with 36 st or 25 st traffic. The staff here is pretty slow, but really, that's any post office these days. Their employees just don't want to retire, so they've slowed down. WAY down. They're very nice though, most times. Try and avoid coming here during lunch hours if you can. Or you'll be here a very long time. Of all the things I've mailed here, I've never had a single issue with their mailing system/structure. Never had items go missing. So that's great. They're also open 24/7 which is super convenient too. Though staff is not 24/7, just their after hours drop box (which is perfect as long as it's not jam packed.) Come here if you got stuff to mail. You should be good to go and safe when mailing stuff out ! read more

After being on the phone with them for two hours and telling me I can't make an appointment to renew my passport that I had to just walk in, I decided to go. The lady was so rude. I don't understand how people like her can have a job. She said they only take appointments and wanted to leave on time so she refused to help. I saw her give attitude to three other customers that asked a simple question. Does anyone wonder why it is that the post office is going out of business? Here it is. Rude and incompetent people. Horrible!! No customer service. Over staffed but no one is working. Do not go there on a Saturday. When you complain, the security guard is the one that comes out to speak with the customers, not the supervisor. Provided several excuses for delay: staff at lunch, they are doing passport service, I can go to another post office close by, I should have gotten there earlier, and that I will get the same treatment at the airport by the TSA!!! Last time I checked the TSA's function was to protect the safety of passengers not handle their mail. read more

Friendly staff members are always willing to help and recommend you with what options you have or need to do when sending your packages. Alongside the service, another plus is the hours of operation-- being opened from 7:30a - 9p Monday thru Friday makes it really convenient to visit the office after work or for a last minute delivery. read more
