This is a relatively small, somewhat basic US Post Office, located on Miracle Mile about a block…read morefrom Douglas. Aside from the manned counter where one can mail packages, buy stamps and obtain other standard USPS services, this location also has a section with several rows of PO boxes and a slot to drop off postage paid envelopes and small packages that's normally open 24 hours, though it's currently locked when the service counter isn't manned due to Covid. The biggest plus about this particular USPS location is the operating hours of the full-service counter, as it's staffed later than most and has some very attractive Saturday hours...It's open until 6pm through the week AND from 10am to 6pm on Saturdays. The parking situation isn't the best, as your only options are the "Park by Phone" spots along the streets or the paid parking in the garage above this post office. The 2 or 3 spots directly in front of this place are often marked valet only. That said, if already conducting business in this general area, this post office is a good alternative to the much larger (and usually busy & slow) main Coral Gables post office a few blocks away.

Review on passport experience only…read more My husband and I came with a passport appointment for our baby on a Wednesday morning. Upon arrival, the staff told us that unfortunately the camera was broken but they suggested to go to the Walgreens near by to quickly take the pictures. We didn't loose our reservation but we needed to go get the pictures at the pharmacy and return. We went there and got pictures done very quickly. We came back and they immediately started the process for the passport. Everyone was helpful. I believe Tavia is the name of the lady who took care of us. She was very professional, efficient and respectful. She did the process pretty fast and explained to us when and what to expect. I noticed there are many bad reviews for this location but I have to say my experience with the passport agent was pleasant. Other than the camera issue, everything was done on time and everyone was behaving in a professional manner. You definitely NEED to make an appointment for passport transactions and come with all your documents ready, then, they will be able to do their job in a timely manner.

I had a mailing request and wasn't completely sure about the best way to send my letter, but they guided me through the process and made sure everything was done correctly. You can tell they know what they're doing and care about helping people get things right. The ladies is what makes this place cool and reliable. Another perk is the free parking in front. I really appreciated their support, it turned what could've been a confusing errand into a smooth experience. Also, a big plus that they're open on Saturdays until 2 PM, which is super convenient. Just improve the overall aspect of it and installations and it would win two additional stars.

This was an interesting experience. Somehow despite seeing all three window employees literally…read moreyelling and belittling different customers at various times during my 20 minute adventure, they processed 20 customers in that time which is not bad for a postal location. This rate of speed is pretty comparable with a Fed or UPS store also. For my request I was given a form to fill out (which I made a slight mistake on). They did let me back to the window without having to completely go through the line again. Then the woman working was somehow less annoyed with me after my mistake when she told me that I shouldn't have had to fill it out in the first place. She adjusted the included value and number of items without complaint, though she could not give me a hard estimate on how long it would take for this international shipment. The price was still $50 less than the UPS store, so it makes sense to roll the dice. I just hope the package made it out of the building. Special credit goes to a fellow customer who was translating since despite half of Miami speaking Spanish (and 90%+ of the customers I saw at this USPS location itself), none of the three people working at the window spoke a word. So this has not been the worst experience I have had, especially during a pandemic, but it seems a few minor changes could make this one of the better locations in South Florida.
