(Just found this review in drafts & had to post. Clearly I put a LOT effort into it so seems unjust to not share lol) I just had the WEIRDEST EXPERIENCE EVER at the post office... My building is being tented/fumigated, so I called USPS customer service to give them a heads-up since I was unexpectedly receiving packages that were supposed to come early next week. The lady I spoke with was lovely and super helpful -- she suggested I place a mail hold and pick up my packages on Monday (this was Thursday). I agreed. Later that day, I realized one of the deliveries was a food item that would definitely spoil if it sat on a mail truck all weekend in the Florida sun. I decided to pop into the post office and was thrilled to see barely anyone there (a miracle!). As soon as it was my turn, the woman behind the counter yelled "Next!" without even looking up from her phone where she was actively texting. I approached and explained the situation, saying I'd like to pick up my mail. After looking up my address, she flatly said that if I picked up my mail now, it would cancel the mail hold and regular delivery could restart. I reminded her that my entire building was literally tented and they could not deliver -- I would simply return Monday for the rest. She seemed annoyed and repeated herself. I calmly said I understood, but would just like to pick up whatever was already being held. She exasperatedly turned around and disappeared into the back. After what felt like forever in that FREEZING lobby, she finally returned and told me to "speak with them at the end." I walked down to the other end of the counter and encountered my mailman (who up until that moment, I thought I had a great relationship with!) and another man I assume was the manager (have seen him there before, never in uniform). I said hello. They looked at me and literally said: "Well, what?" Ummm, what?! If you need me to repeat the situation, I will -- but "Well, what?" is highly unprofessional. I again began explaining why I was there. Somehow it turned into them chastising me for not emptying my mailbox often enough. HUH?! I seriously felt like a 13-year-old in the principal's office. While I didn't feel the need to explain a DAMN thing, I started to say (as the mailman very well knows) that my 1920s mailbox isn't exactly built for 2025 levels of mail -- especially during elections when the political junk mail is insane. Before I could even finish, the guy cut me off, saying he "wasn't gonna get into it." He told me if my mailbox is full, then the mailman should stop delivering my mail entirely and bring everything back to the post office -- that it's "not my choice" and "I don't make the rules" -- then turned around and walked away. Seriously, WTF is this man talking about and why is he so butt-hurt about my mailbox? Anyway, that was NOT even what I was there for. It was so bizarre, so rude, and so totally unhelpful. I was left standing there with the mailman, who by now was suddenly acting like the friendly guy I recognized. But at that point, I was DONE. I told him I'd be back tomorrow. Then -- get this -- he suddenly says, "Wait, I actually do have packages for you in my truck! Let me go get them!" WAIT, WHAT?! You had my packages this whole time and let that entire weird exchange happen without saying a word? I was flabbergasted. I just looked at him and said this whole situation felt like the Twilight Zone. I told him, please get ALL my mail off the truck, put it aside, and I'll be back tomorrow. GOOD DAY, SIR. Sheesh... Wish me luck. UPDATE: Returned today & there was still no mail of mine to pick up. The only redeeming factor, the wonderful & super helpful clerk, Mayzara, who was not only incredibly pleasant but went the extra mile of actually calling the mailman on her mobile to ask where my mail was. He didn't answer but it doesn't change the fact that she seems to be the ONLY person here who actually cares about customers. THANK YOU, Mayzara! That star is for you & only you :) read more

I just went there on a Friday afternoon. To my surprise it was very quiet, nobody there but me. I needed 10 priority mail envelopes and ten priority mail address stickers. The envelopes are right there but there were no address stickers. So I walked up to the attendant and said hello. She ignored me because she was too busy looking at her phone. After she was finished with the video on her phone she looked up without saying a word. I asked her if I could have the address stickers for the envelopes and she gave me a bunch. I counted them and it was a total of 8. I asked her if I could have 2 more. She replied that this was all she was going to give me. There was a whole stack of those stickers right behind her. She flat out refused to give me two more. What is that? That was really the most flabbergasting, suckiest service ever. read more

This Post Office is a disaster besides that never been updated since first was build and CG residents we all pay a lot of taxes why don't you beauty the place and make it proud to be part of "City Beautiful" the legislators should do something about, there is a big building almost done right across the street and this horrible place right across. Too much high rise, remodeling all over CG ,and this one felt on the cracks . In that Post office location only one lady is nice (I don't remember her name) the rest are professional but don't ask more than one question because they give attitude and can be nasty at times, the person in charge of the outside machine that always has sunglasses "The papi chulo" should do a little more other than tell people to use the machine when the line is so long and only one employee working "Besides Him". I've been to this post office quite a few times and have never had an issue. They have a parking lot which is much appreciated but you can only enter it from Valencia Ave (which is a one way). There's also metered street parking nearby should you opt to go that route, but make sure you pay even if you think you're going in for a "quick trip" which I've learned the hard way. It's large on the inside with a few different counters for personalized service and an automated kiosk if you want to do some things yourself. I came recently and there were markings on the floor so that everyone knew to keep their distance while waiting in line, and there was both increased distance and plexiglass between me and the staff. Everyone was wearing masks, as well. Overall, no complaints. There's a newer post office not too far away on Miracle Mile but this one is bigger and, again, has parking! read more

Phone number 305-443-2532 never answer. We are trying to find a package that they don't know where is it. The tracking does not mentiond it was delivered. I have been calling since Dec. 15, 2023 and nobody answer the phone. The manager was suposed to call us to let us know where the package is. But I am still waiting. Thank you. read more

The Coral Gables post office is one of the very few places in the 33134 zip code with complimentary parking! That itself earns this location 5 stars. Parking is very much appreciated. Location is pretty small, the staff is your average 'postal office profile', not friendly and often on a power trip but they manage to get the lines move fast. Ive never spent more than 5 minutes waiting- which is much appreciated. read more

This use to be my go to location and the people there are wonderful. But the carriers just don't care anymore. Fragile? Well stuff it in ur mailbox. Do Not Bend? Challenge accepted. It's gotten sad that I can no longer receive packages via this branch, need to pickup to avoid damage. The claim system is so painful they make it easier to just take the loss. As with most post offices in Miami, this one seems to be older, a little dated looking and could use a bit of a refresh. Employees aren't the friendliest and when I came here, though there was a line of people 6 or 7 deep, they only had 2 staff taking care of customers. That said, rather than giving what would normally be a 2 star rating, I give this post office a third star for a few reasons: 1) It's open until 6 through the week when most postal branches have closed, so if you're a 9 to 5 employee, you may have a chance to come here and mail your stuff before it closes. 2) The lobby is a bit larger and better stocked than most post offices I've seen. Indeed, they have plenty of things here like shipping boxes, packaging tape and other materials for sale, as well as items like greeting cards, and 3) They have 3 "self-service" machines that allow you to buy stamps and ship some packages on your own. One of them is in the 24/7 section of the lobby so if you have small items to ship or need to buy postage when the postal counter here is closed, you can come here and take care of it. read more

Anyway, this post office is in Coral Gables by Miracle Mile. Some private lot parking is available for free, as well as some metered parking. The actual post office in itself is relatively big for the area. There are plenty of spaces for P.O. boxes and lots of options for them. In terms of customer service, I have no complaints. They move quickly and efficiently. Last time I went a male employee took care of me and he was quite cheerful. That being said, this post office doesn't get five stars from me if only because I feel that their private lot needs to expand. read more

We had numerous packages worth a lot of money stolen after we personally dropped them off at the post office and they weren't scanned in. We spoke to the supervisor at this actual location, filed claims with the main usps and called the inspector general. Nothing yet and we've been feeling with this since before Thanksgiving. Packages which we personally dropped off so we know they went in the drop box inside then post office were packages fall into the postal workers area which is inaccesible to the public. I had a choice. Come here or go to one of the two in the Doral area. Since I was right there, I decided to just cross the street. It was 8:45AM and there were already 10 people in line. Aris is right, seems that all of CG is always in line to the post office. They are nice there but the service is as slow as molasses, really, really, really slow. If you can use the self serve machine do it. Otherwise be prepared to wait. I did, for over 1/2 hour. In the one off of 97th Ave in Doral there is always a huge line but they are focused on really getting through it and I have waited less time with a line with more people. So, that's where I will go next time. read more

Coming to this branch always makes me cringe, I don't know if it is a self fulfulling prophecy effect- but invariably they always find a way to make me feel like I have wasted 20 or 30 minutes out of my life. It is clearly evident here that the Postal Service is a government entity, their non chalant attitude towards customer service is appallling. It is a clear reflection of whomever is in charge, either no skills whatsoever or simply, no accountability- Their mail delivery service is equally dismal- sometimes we go for 2 or 3 days without delivery in our office. The nature of our business is such that reliable mail delivery is critical due to our time sensitive transactions. We have called the local branch and even escalated our request to HDQ - and so far, it is a big joke to them. They will simply deliver whenever they feel like it. read more

So. Very. Slow. I know most post offices deal with long lines, and I know most are understaffed because USPS is hemorrhaging money... but seriously, this particular location has to be one of the worst post offices around. It is NEVER a quick trip here. I have to come here every so often for work, and as much as I will try to use the automated machine, there are some times where I have to stand in line. I know when that happens that I need to brace myself for a long wait. Unless it's around Christmas, you will never see more than two people working here, regardless of the length of the line. I have to echo Patrick's sentiment about the parking. Sure, free parking in the Gables is great, but it's just not worth the headache most of the time. If you're in a long line for a spot, chances are pretty good you just aren't going to get one anytime soon. There are always a few metered spots available. If you know you have to wait in line, estimate a minimum of 30 minutes unless you want to risk getting a ticket. read more

The location is what makes this place worth the extra star. The Gables is pedestrian friendly for the most part so it's easy to walk over from your office or apartment nearby. It does help that it's open past 5pm on weekdays so sending out a last minute package before you get in your car is worth the inconveniences it can bring along. The line does seem to get long on several occasions that I've come here but as long as you're ready by the time you get to the cashier, you should be fine after the initial wait. I'm never going to agree with the tape rule here that requires you to purchase a roll of tape to put your box together because they only offer priority tape free of charge. Certified letters and all that fun stuff can also be sent out here. Although, I find it easier to grab a batch of the empty slips and print my own labels at home with their app. Certain items require an in person visit and this is why this place works for me. read more

The Postal Service? I really like that song "The District Sleeps Alone Tonight." "Such Great Heights" was cool before UPS ruined it by using it in adverts. Seriously, this location isn't terrible, it's just the parking lot that makes this place a grim experience. The employees here actually seem to have a sense of humor, which probably serves them well, given the dumb customers they have to deal with all day long. The parking lot truly is horrendous, though. The line always stretches out onto the street. Why would you even bother? Why not just park at a meter and walk? Recently, I have been using eBay to make extra money. I look around my room, find a random item to sell, and when it sells, I mail it out the next day. I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for an extra way to make cash or clear out clutter. It is highly effective! Well anyways, since I work two blocks away from this post office, I always make morning trips to this post office to ship out my items, and I would just like to say that they provide exceptional quick customer service. I am usually standing in line for about two minutes (the longest amount of time) before I am helped. This is the perfect place to go if you are taking a break from work and need to send something really quick. Their staff is also very friendly and seems 100% invested in helping you. Also, they have a scale outside of the office so that you can perfectly weigh your items. The only con I can think of is that I wish they were open at 8 am, but I really cannot complain about their hours. They open at 9 am. This post office easily earns five stars! This post office needs no introduction to any of the Coral Gables locals. (Heck, it seems that HALF of Coral Gables is always in line here whenever I need to get something done at the post office myself.) The staff must be in contention for slowest postal workers in the area, running a close second to the staff over at the branch near the corner of Miracle Mile and Douglas Rd. And the fact that one of those perennially-long lines is for people applying for passports means that if you aren't applying for a passport, you'll have to wait in that other extremely long line. No surprise then that the free parking lot is always jam-packed, so you'll have to pay to park on the street (or park in the free lot at the Publix on the next block). Be sure to put in enough quarters if you park on the street because you will be in that line for a good hour. Service could be vastly improved if they added another couple of automated postal clerk machines in the lobby and if they kept the supplies of forms and boxes in the lobby much better stocked. Nowadays my main trips to this branch are just to drop off mail in the bin when I have something that needs to be processed urgently. (With all the postal trucks in their lot, you have to assume the mail is shipped out faster here than from some of the other local branches). read more

If you have gone to any USPS office, probably you are disappointed about the service, unless in the Coral Gables - Valencia which is amazing: the people are super nice, they have always at least 4 lines working And is so fast! If you have the stickers prepaid they have a line where they scanned them super quickly. A big congratulations to this office that proves that people attitude make a difference. I'm giving this office one star because negative 500 stars doesn't exist. I would love to know WHY all government related office treat people so badly. Usually my packages arrive at this location whenever I order. Sometimes I'm able to catch it before the truck leaves in the morning because by the time she delivers to my office, it's past 6 and I'm gone by that time. So this morning the lady that was "helping" me tells me "Well if it says online that your package arrived here then MAYBE the truck already left to deliver." I said "Can you please check if it left or not? Because I'd rather get it now than have to wait till tomorrow to receive it." She says "It left." So I reply "Didn't you just say maybe? Indicating that you don't know? Can you please check?" So she leaves to go check and comes back and says "Sorry, it left. Hopefully you get it today." First of all, it's way too early in the morning for you to be rude to a customer. Second, if you don't know, will it harm you to just go check? You could've been checking all this time that you were making up excuses to not go check. The customer NEXT to me, was also being treated extremely RUDE by the employee because I could hear what he was telling her. I really don't understand. In the past, I've never had any trouble picking up my packages at the post office upon its arrival. As I work in Brickell, it is difficult for me to sign for my packages. I was previously assisted by two amazing people named Julius (store manager) and Pamela (another usps employee) and they've always been able to help me locate my package and have me on my way. However, the past two instances that I was there I was treated like someone in a third world country. Unfortunately, my parcel saviors had the day off and I was left to deal with these two unreliable and uninterested insubordinates. Last week when I went to pick up my package, per usual, I was told by the not so gentleman left in charge that I didn't have the right to pick up my mail at a postal office. Now, I pride myself in being a patriot. I love America and everything it stands for and no where in the constitution does it say that we can't pick up our mail at the post office. It is my right to protect my mail. Today, I again tried to pick up another package which arrived last night to the post office. Again I was treated like a second hand citizen. I was told that I had to wait until they carrier dropped it off. This is blasphemy. They need order and organization fast. Maybe they should hire people who actually care about getting you your mail. They are clearly understaffed and this is issue is crippling moral. read more

Service at this location is ok, tho often a long wait. But my real complaint is with my delivery service, which has been getting later and later, and now is as late as 8PM!!! I would have thought they would be done working much earlier. I called the branch to complain, and they don't answer their phone!?! I let it ring for minutes at a time, thinking it had to be a fluke, but no answer and no recording. Finally called the 800 number, which thankfully was answered by an actual person, who was quite pleasant. We'll see if they do anything. read more
