I had an extremely unpleasant experience at this post office…read more I was waiting in line, which was mostly empty, while on a work call from my job. I did not approach the counter until I was acknowledged, as I didn't know whether the clerk was busy. When I politely asked if I had been called, the employee (who identified herself as "Liz") responded rudely and told me I needed to hang up my phone. I immediately ended my work call and approached the counter. I apologized and explained that I don't step up to a register until I'm waved over. Despite this, the employee continued to be hostile. Before leaving, I tried to end the interaction on a positive note by wishing her a better day. Her response was, "You need an education." This comment was completely unprovoked, disrespectful, and inappropriate for a customer-facing employee. I have never been treated so poorly at a USPS location. If this is how customers are spoken to for something as minor as being on a phone while waiting in line, management seriously needs to address staff professionalism and customer service

Came in on a Saturday around 3 PM to send a certified letter. The office was empty. I asked her to guide me because I didn't want to place it incorrectly. She had an earbud in, was talking to the other employee, and had a rude attitude. While I was trying to follow her directions, she said "Oh God, help me" out loud, then said "I can't do this", stood up, and walked away, leaving me at the counter. The second employee finished processing it and gave me my receipt, but didn't respond when I said thank you ( multiple times) This level of unprofessionalism should have consequences. You don't get to refuse service, walk away mid-transaction, and treat customers like an inconvenience.

It's also one of the locations that stays open till 7pm and that's always helpful when your running late to send anything. I suggest to come prepared. Have a pen and all the info you need ready so you can walk in and get everything you need with out any frustration. They have the envelopes and boxes for most packages and tape onsite to do it yourself. I also suggest to check out the occasion cards. I've actually bought some pretty good and funny birthday cards here. Cash or card is also accepted here so no worries. They also do passports here with no appointment needed.
