Customer service is horrible including the supervisor. I have an express my concern regarding my mail being delivered. Homeless people always in front of the door & on the inside in the morning time .You're always waiting in line for along period of time no matter what time you arrive. THE WORST POST OFFICE EVER! Customer Service is by far the the worst I have ever experienced from a government facility! I schedule pickups online and they NEVER get picked up unless I file a complaint through USPIS. This place definitely needs an employee overhaul. Hire new people starting with the supervisor on down. They close earlier than the business hours posted on the door and I constantly get other peoples mail delivered in my mailbox despite leaving a note for the postal carrier. At 9:45 AM at the the Wesley Chapel PO, Decatur, GA 30036, the female clerk without braids was Very Rude. I only asked if she could post mark my letter and she refused saying they cannot post mark letters and the letter would be postmarked at the end of the day (5PM). There was not a line of customers waiting to be helped. I thought that would not take her more that a minute or two at most to post mark my letter, however she made it clear to me that she would not do so. read more

For the last week my Amazon packages of April-May 2024 I had packages go missing but marked delivered. This is absolutely egregious. I have to call Amazon and explain and ask for refunds-apparently usps is delivering for Amazon for some unknown reason as they are the worst especially in dekalb county. This is absolute theft/misappropriation. Sometimes I get the items days later but I've already went through the hassle of asking for a refund now what, call back Amazon and waste more time all because they marked it delivered likely to keep their contract. I have complained to Amazon and apparently I am not the only one, it's an epidemic with usps. Ever since I have lived in dekalb county I have had ongoing problems, this is not the first time, with the postal service here not delivering and marking packages as left by the door but the most dollar value at one given time consecutively. This place is unprofessional and has no ethics. I dropped my package in the drop box, which was never scanned. I spoke with the front desk clerk, who stated I would need to wait at the gray door for assistance from the manager. Before the manager opens the door, you can hear her saying, "What does she want me to do"? She opens the door with an attitude and states they don't scan packages dropped in the drop box because they dump them. She recommended going to the front desk when sending a package. This means she knows they stole at that location because this was a return box, and the label was already created for this package, so I don't understand why I couldn't drop it in the drop box. She proceeded to get irritated with my response and said, "Well make a police report" and slapped the door in my face. read more

I had a package scheduled to be delivered on May 26,2023. I always track my packages. The mail carrier marked my package as delivered to parcel, so I went to pick my package up at my mailbox. As I opened my mailbox I noticed there was no key inside of it to get my package. I immediately filed a customer request claim wanting to know what happened to my package. I am flabbergasted as to why the mail carrier would mark the package as delivered when it was not. I am advising everyone not to order anything that has to be delivered by this post office because you will be risking your package being stolen. I have been getting no answers regarding this claim, so I'm to the point of filing a police report. This post office is terrible!!! I placed my mail on hold for 13 days. Why was some of my mail delivered ? I went to the PO to p/u the rest of my mail and some was missing. I know it was missing, because there were bills that were not included in the stack given to me, with no explanation as to where my missing mail was. A very expensive product was never delivered to my home but on the tracking service it said it was delivered. I filled out a missing mail claim, and the next day the Post Office said what I already saw. My cameras on that day did not see any delivery! There's another home with my same number address but different street name and I have received their mail twice. I don't like these contact free deliveries either, please knock on my door or take a picture of items especially my lost product. I am looking to see if I can get legal support. read more

This location does not have a self service machine so you are forced to wait in line. Like most usps locations you will have to wait in line 20+ mins even for the simplest task. I have found that the employees here are rude and lack customer service. The particular time I did come here they ran out of envelops, not sure how the post office runs out of envelops. read more

The postal workers always gave me eye contact, friendly and helpful. Convenient location and very clean inside and outside. Wish they had some planters or large potted plants for curb appeal and freshness inside. Just a suggestion low-Maintenance plants. read more

This one of the central post offices in this area. This is actually a staple of Wesley Chapel Rd. in South Dekalb. Lines will be long around noon and close to closing. They offer a separate line for picking up packages. I suggest coming earlier in the day maybe at slower times like 10:00am or after the lunch rush if you are in a hurry. The staff does try to help to get out as quick as they can. This location has packaging for your shipping needs. They also sell gift cards which I never knew until most recently while in line. There's plenty of parking because there are other business in this shopping center such as Family Dollar. You can request to have a P.O. Box but I'm unsure of the costs involved. Hopefully, more staff is hired for this location so long lines become less of the norm. The otherwise good post office and staff helpful and explain if you have any concerns. read more

I have been living in this post office area for almost 10 years now... until recently there has not been any problems with receiving mail. Over the past few months I have not been getting all of my packages even though the carrier marks them as delivered. They wind up in other people's mailboxes. I have also gotten several packages not addrsssed to me. This is a weekly occurance in my neighborhood. read more

The 5-star rating is for the great effort they have made to improve service. Attitudes of workers are much improved as are other services. There is sometimes a kiosk for processing prepaid items, a floating worker who sells stamps and retrieves packages from the back. Better management equals better everything! read more

Dont ever call the USPS on Wesley Chapel on a friday, all youll get is the busy tone or if you're lucky enough someone might pick up not say anything and hang up on you. When I think of customer service The USPS at Wesley chapel Rd GA is the last business on my mind, they're customer service is Horrid. They seem like they're always short staffed. Dont talk about delivery routes. I stay at friendly hills apartments and whoever is the mailman that delivers to the apartment complex seems to have his own agenda for packages that need to be delivered to the actual apartment door. It's easier for him to leave a notice in your box and make you use your own car and gas to pick up the package at the USPS building rather than him driving up the hill and walking to an actual door and dropping off a package. And don't let him be behind, he'll leave your package at the front office.... totally a no no. It doesn't matter what kind of deal you have going with the front office... get in your USPS truck drive up the hill.... walk up the stairs and knock on the door to drop off the package. It seems too much like the right thing to do I guess. To the Postmaster at that branch... you and your entire staff need to get it together.... no excuses. read more

I purchased a hubcap through eBay for my daughter and mailed it to her address in Decatur. The lazy mail carrier abandoned her package in or at the mail box. Well, we all know a 16" hubcap will not fit in the mailbox, so I have to assume he/she left it on the sidewalk instead of putting it on the porch or better yet, leave one of those attempted delivery cards in the box and let her pick it up at the post office. The package had insurance on it but that has turned out to be a joke because it shows it was delivered. My daughter doesn't have her hubcap and I don't have my money I spent on it. I have filed an insurance claim, which was denied and two appeals. I'm never mailing anything to her address again because I don't have the time or money to allow her things to get lost or stolen by the mail carrier. I'm sure there are plenty of hard working people that would appreciate working for the USPS. Maybe it's time to send the lazy ones home. read more
