I'd like to add that once I got to this location, there was a long line out of the door, so much so, I had to wait out in the mall once I joined the line. Michelle was the only employee at the counter and was so proficient in getting all of us customers in and out the door. She tended to all of us with a pleasant attitude and with efficiency. She was kind, patient, and allowed me to ask whatever questions I had without making me feel rushed. She also throughly went over the receipt with me and really made sure I was clear on this entire process before moving on to the person behind me. I really appreciated her demeanor and amazing customer service. I hope she's recognized at some sort of staff meeting or company wide gathering for this behavior.

This was at 4:05 PM. Eventually, a few other customers started walking in and we were all baffled. To be honest, if it wasn't for another postal worker who was making a delivery, we wouldn't have known that they were on a "lunch break " ... which lasts for an hour... so they would not be reopening. The lobby is always clean and the staff is always friendly. Even when the one is out the door the staff maintains their cool and still provides above standard customer service. The cards they have are nicer than the other postal offices I have been to. They come in when I'm in a clutch and need to mail out a birthday or holiday card and just want to get out of the car once. On April 30, 2024, I paid $30 overnight delivery, which had a guaranteed delivery by 6pm May 1, 2024. On Monday, May 6, 2024, the document was not delivered to the recipient. When I returned to the Post Office to inquire of non-delivery, it was discovered that my important document was still sitting on the desk at the College Park Post Office. For SIX days an overnight EXPRESS package sat at the post office, and no one took the duty to ensure the package was sent out. This is BLANTON UNPROFESSIONAL Service!!! The document was a vital matter to my livelihood that needed to be delivered by May 6 and the unprofessional neglect of the postal workers is simply careless and total lazy disregard for the people whom they service.
