Giving a business' EIN is equivalent to giving them your SSN number to reserve a personal PO box. And if it's used to verify the business, the information is publicly available on the SOS government website that anyone has access to. This needs to be investigated because there's no telling what is being done with confidential business information.

Michelle was the only employee at the counter and was so proficient in getting all of us customers in and out the door. She tended to all of us with a pleasant attitude and with efficiency. She was kind, patient, and allowed me to ask whatever questions I had without making me feel rushed. She also throughly went over the receipt with me and really made sure I was clear on this entire process before moving on to the person behind me.
