I wish I would have read these Yelp reviews prior to making a trip here. Unfortunately, the service has not improved despite some of these comments being posted four years ago. :( I rushed to this location on a Friday after graduation to mail a gift off and the door was locked, although the door clearly reads open until 5 PM. This was at 4:05 PM. Eventually, a few other customers started walking in and we were all baffled. To be honest, if it wasn't for another postal worker who was making a delivery, we wouldn't have known that they were on a "lunch break " ... which lasts for an hour... so they would not be reopening. Lesson learned. I will not be back to this location. read more

i had to send some documents to another state, i went on Monday July 27, 2026. they offered me 2 services: pay $12.99 of it to be delivered today Thursday or pay $35.90 to be delivered the next day which it was July 28, 2026, i decided to pay the $35.90 because i needed this papers to arrive quick, and y'all would see it in the attachment bellow, at 12:35am the package arrived at the Atlanta GA Distribution Center, up until this point when i woke up on Tuesday July 28 i was happy because at least the package has arrived at another destination. the day went by and the package just didn't move, the day was over and the package was still at the same place, i was still giving it the benefit of the doubt and said maybe they'll deliver it on Wednesday, Wednesday came and it was still NOT delivered, the day FINISHED and still nothing today is THURSDAY and it was barely moved to DULLES VA DISTRIBUTION CENTER and who knows until when it will arrived to the destination. I PAID EXTRA FOR THIS PACKAGE TO BE DELIVERED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, because ITS VERY IMPORTANT i called yesterday and didn't give me no explanation whatsoever, i called today and they said for my refund i needed to go to a physical post office or do it online which it takes 7-10 business days for be mailed to me. JUST IRRESPONSIBLE, if the package it's going to be delayed for whatever reason, IT IS NOT GOING TO HURT TO LET THE COSTUMER KNOW, obviously yall don't care because it's not yall sending but WE DO, yall don't know how important or fast we want those documents to arrive and most important WE ARE PAYING EXTRAAA for the faster service, just HORRIBLE. read more

I can see that the consensus is all the same with the poor quality of service, BUT you sink to an all time low when you do not open at all on a Friday! People have been waiting for an hour or more. Plus you do not know what someone had to do to make it to the post office this morning. So to have workers (which we could hear sorting mail in the back) not even come out to acknowledge what the problem may be is ridiculous! read more

Im not sure why is it that when you're in a predominately black neighborhood government offices are lacking order and the experience is just different. I don't get it or understand it. I moved to this area a few months ago and the supplies are not always stocked, it's not organized or clean and postal items are missing from the writing stand. Why do I have to stand in line for 15 minutes to get a priority mail envelope and then asked to wait to the side to fill out the label, I'm only in line because you didn't stock the supplies. I actually still drive out of my way to the Midtown office by my old home because I have more confidence in that office and for some reason my items are received faster. I've rated the office 3 stars because I've never had a bad interaction with any of the postal workers, there all pretty nice and apologetic when you do have as longer wait. read more

Terrible service. I've visited this location in the morning, afternoon and early evening, the wait time is the same each visit its a 20 to 30 wait time for service at the customer desk. Please, Post Master this location needs two people manning the customer service counter. read more

FRIENDLY POSTAL WORKERS. A rarity by far in going to the post office & having a great experience. We all know USPS usually gets a bad rap with long lines, summertime-no A/C, wintertime no-heat. Above all else, the unpleasant employees behind the counter. Not with my visit to this location. As I made my way to the line I got acknowledged by all three employees behind the counter. Clerk 70 gave me another welcome while she assisted me in mailing my Son's Absentee Ballot. Which by the way Clerk 70 shared additional insight on how to track your ballot. Not for nothing, this location may be the cleanest post office I've been to. read more

You may have luck when just dropping off a package, but for any hands on service, don't count on it. As a box customer, I have had SEVERAL packages lost, late, and/or damaged... and there is always a line with only one or two attendants. Not enough for such a busy location. I know things happen, but the rude/nonchalant customer service does not help at all. If you ask for assistance, you are responded to as if you are a bother, and you still may leave without getting what you need (like our missing package today) There is one very nice manager on site, Ms. Jennifer. Other than that, nada. For some reason, there is one VERY rude attendant that I hear multiple people complain about, but she is still in the front and has been the whole time I've been a customer. I was trying to hold off moving my services, but we've lost too much money and the cost of having a box at this location to receive our mail is not worth it. read more

It was my fault coming here already knowing how horrible customer service is. But I thought what the heck I can drop off a prepaid package and get a receipt no problem. I had a male cashier (who seemed new on the job) tell me he couldn't accept it because the actual weight was a pound less than the label I paid for. I told him they'll send a price adjustment to me if necessary but it's fine to take the package I've only done it hundreds of times. Lo and behold I had to travel 15 minutes out of my way to go to the Lithia springs location, where the nice lady scanned and accepted my package and gave me a receipt with tracking, no problem. Take my advice, don't go under any circumstance. Chances you'll regret it and just have to go to the next closest branch are insanely high. read more

Visited 6/21/19 This is the worse Post Office I've ever visited in my LIFE. I have an online Boutique, and I'm at a Post Office a few times per week. There was 1 Clerk at the counter and had a look of aggravation and pissed off with life look on his face. The line was so long to the entrance door. The other Clerks were standing around looking and talking among themselves and not servicing any of the Customers. I will never ever return to this Post Office. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!! I ordered birthday decorations for a birthday party, by the time I got the box at my house. The box was torn with a huge hole in it. The box looked like it had been crushed and it was taped to keep it together. Once I opened the box the only decorations I received was to packages of balloons out of 30 items I purchased, the company I ordered from reassured me they sent the correct items. I don't know what happened to my items. But I know I will never use the post office again for anything to be delivered. read more

Trying to track down a lost package and no one will even answer the phone at this location.

My package has been in there for 5 days so I got it the post office to see what's happening and why it's still there because my family are getting their packages in time. I drove up there and there was a hour or two wait. I get the front of the line and the two females because the counter laugh at me and say if I want to check on the progress of my package I need to go to another line. There is no sign that says tracking anywhere. I get in that line and once I make it to the front a lady tells me that since it came on Saturday it will get here by Monday. Money comes and I'm standing outside because I'm expecting to be coming today and don't want them to say I wasn't home. The mail-lady comes and pass my house with no package. It is now Wednesday. I got insurance but I don't know how that's going to go but this place and the people in there are garbage. read more

The acting supervisor at this facility is incompetent and a terrible manager I am convinced the employees at this location are stealing mail and the manager just doesn't care it's unfortunate that these facility in predominantly black communities are this terrible it makes us all look bad when you can't get your shit together. This is the worst business I've ever seen. I work near this location so I use it once or twice a year for some personal business. This place brings to life, every stereotype you've ever heard about the USPS. If there is more than 8-10 people in line, you'd better plan on staying quite awhile. Even when there is only 2-3 people in line it takes about 30 minutes to get in and out. In the fifteen years I have gone here, I have NEVER found a single writing pen to be working. Ever. Most have been yanked off their little lanyard chains and stolen. They are ALWAYS out of mailing forms and envelopes, and when you have to ask for one, you get that patented surly, postal attitude. The employees are indifferent at best, but usually rather curt - depending on your race. It really saddens me to say that but it's the truth. And housekeeping? The floors are absolutely filthy, as is everything else in this dump. The counters and displays are all in various states of disrepair. There is decades-old grime and dirt in the corners and in every crevice. I really had to laugh at the photos in another review, that showed everything well-lit and in order. Hahahaha! When you look up the word "ghetto" in the dictionary, this place should be pictured. I just went there with an urgent need and took a look around.... no pens, no forms, and about 30 people in line, replete with screaming kids. I left and will never go back. Place was sort of a mess but the employees were nice and helpful. They made my visit speedy and efficient.

Not having to selected a rating star NEEDS to be an option. The WORST postal service I've ever experienced. I've had a P.O. Box at this location for about 3 months. My mail is never delivered and I'm convinced an employee is STEALING my packages. When tracking my package it says delivered to PO Box but once I check the box it's empty and the package is no where to be found. The only response the staff can ever give me is "if we find the package we'll give you a call". A month later and I'm still waiting on that call. I'm definitely not going to renew my PO Box service. read more

This office is why people are finding other options than USPS. Their counter service is terrible, long lines and maybe one agent working the counter. If you have a PO Box you have about a 80 percent chance of your mail or packages being delivered on-time without intervention. If you use their street address for Fedex and UPS package deliveries good luck actually seeing your package without several days of you personally begging them to search for your package . What an experience! Now I understand there are some changes due to COVID-19 but this was ridiculous. I waited in the line at this post office for 2 hours! There was only ONE clerk and the line was out the door. The manager was horrible! He was upset at us, the customers, because we were frustrated with the service we received. The manager made an announcement with all attitude including telling us we can leave an go to another locating. When a guy voiced his opinion because he couldn't take the foolishness anymore, he begin filming and called the police and told the guy they would not provide him service. Ugh!!! This was so unnecessary. The guys was not threatening in any way, he was simply frustrated and sick of the manager and his nasty attitude. What a waste of the police officer's time. I called the office multiple times to locate my package and NO ONE would answer the phone. I drove to the location (30 minutes away from my job by the way) and the lobby was completely empty. I called from my cell phone to see if ANYONE would answer the phone and NO ONE EVER DID. While the associate was in the back looking for my package, I called AGAIN and NO ONE answered the phone. What is the point of having a phone in the Post Office if the associates WILL NOT ANSWER THE PHONE!!! read more
