    This outside location just below Thorton Rd. is a sure shot to visit when you want to get your mail out in a timely fashion. If the lines are long and it appears to be a long wait there are service agents behind the scene to break your wait from minimal to moments. Todays visit was great! After the line accumulated there was a very articulate clerk that came out from the back and handled the line in real time, addressing all questions and concerns. This location is always a low volume mass from a users standpoint. But today the planets are aligning up some universal magic for our favor. There is ample parking in the lot and you have a self service station as well to get pass some of your straight forward transactions. The thing I love about this location are the people that work here. They pay attention to detail, they are engaging and have the desire to help you make your visit complete.

    Check out this workers "uniform". You'd think she works at Harley Davidson!? How does the USPS allow this?

    11/23/21 - WHY OH WHY do I keep giving this post office another chance?! I went in today and a family of 4 was at the window getting passports. That left only 1 other worker taking care of customers for a looong time. She was a rude black lady wearing a harley davidson shirt. Post office workers are supposed to wear a uniform and are even paid for that uniform. There was 1 customer in front of me and she finally got tired of waiting, threw the items she was going to buy on the counter and stormed out. I figured since I was now next in line, I'd wait. Well, I waited and waited and waited. The passport family was being overly talkative and the nice older black lady was indulging them even though the line of customers was growing and growing. The kids didn't like their passport photos so the lady was retaking them. I finally spoke out in frustration to the 8-10 people in line behind me how this wait was "PAINFUL" and that I "USUALLY GO TO AUSTELL" because lithia springs is so slow. The harley shirt wearing lady sarcastically told me I could go ahead and go to austell if I wanted. LOL. I told her NO THANKS since I was next in line. This place is so bad. I bet it is one of the worst post offices in the entire country. Everyone in this post office needs to be fired except the nice older black lady. She's so sweet and helpful. Sometimes too helpful though.

    It's fast easy in and out, the downside is that there's only one person most of the time. They should definitely hire some people

    They're never open. I've come here during normal business hours 3 times now to find them closed.

    I dropped off a FedEx package at Mail Central on Friday April 4th around 11:00 am. I purchased the…read morelabel on eBay.com. I noticed Sunday that the package had not been picked up, it didn't have any scans from FedEx. So, Monday April 7th around 9:00 am shortly after Mail Central was open, I went in to ask Troy (the store owner) why my package had not been picked up. She said I must have dropped off later than I thought, I said I know I dropped the package off around 11:00 am. Then she went on to blame FedEx for not picking it up. As the store owner she took no accountability for the package not getting shipped nor did she offer any ideas on how she would fix the error to make sure it would not happen again. I left the package with her hoping Friday was a fluke and that she would make sure my package would be picked up on Monday afternoon at their normal FedEx pick up time. Monday came and went with no FedEx scan on the tracking. So, on Tuesday April 8th I went in to Mail Central again to see what had happened. Troy was not at the store, so I talked to the employee on duty. She stated that all the FedEx packages were picked up. I said that I wanted to looked to see if my package had been picked up. It was absolutely clear that FedEx did not pick up again. I took my package, made a new label and took it to the UPS store. With Troy knowing me and my husband since 2018 when we began dropping of packages at Mail Central, I expected more customer service from her. I expressed to her the urgency I had in needing to get this package shipped, because on eBay you only have a couple of days to get it shipped. I feel like she at the very least should have called me (my phone number was on the shipping label). I feel like she has no urgency to fix what was happening with FedEx or to service her customers.

    The amazing lady who was working the opening shift was so helpful. I never write reviews. But…read moresomething about her energy made me want to make sure she gets a little recognition. I hate going and running errands but she made my morning a little better. I wish I would have gotten her name.

But not yesterday! The three ladies working the counter yesterday was very efficient! They got through every customers's needs effectively and efficiently. And I wasn't there long at all!

    I've come to this particular location (corner of Veterans Memorial & Discovery Blvd) a couple of…read moretimes within the last 12 months. And I have never had a problem. Today was no exception. I'm specifically taking time out to write a review today because of the stellar customer service from the moment I walked in. I was greeted, asked to approach the counter with a smile & "how can I help you?". I needed to print several pages and I mistakenly sent the request to the wrong local UPS email address. Finally after several attempts and no messages available to print, Ms. Leslie asked to see my "sent" messages on my phone & she immediately realized I had added an extra letter to the email address (......... a big "duh" on my part ‍). She PATIENTLY waited by the computer for me to re-send all the emails and told me it was "no problem at all" when I expressed disdain at my own mistake and for holding her up from the next customer..... like a whole 7-8 minutes. LESLIE is gracious, kind and exactly what UPS should hope for in great customer service. I WILL return to this location.
