Stopped in to print a 3 dollar off coupon that was emailed to me from an ice cream company. It had to be printed as it was not a digital coupon. I decided to stop in here before going to Publix to use it. The cashier printed it and stated it was $2.12!!!!!!! WTF. I went to the library down the street and printed it for 15 cent. This was ridiculous and should have been stated before they printed it. What a waste of time! read more

The first bad experience was worth brushing under the rug, but after SEVERAL bad experiences with the UPS store at 4480 South Cobb, Smyrna GA, it's a culture at this location! It's a money grub and they try to get people to buy envelopes and boxes by saying you can't return something, OR they give you attitude and argumentative when you simply walk in with a return....they're SIMI-pleasant only if you buy something! Additionally, if someone is posting positive reviews then they must be paid or they're from a time ago. The staff (and from what I've seen of the owner JOHN PARK) at this store to consumer's coming in is really disturbing. I'm shocked "UPS" allows their brand to be associated. I have to write this review due to the terrible service I received today, August 14, 2023. I visited the UPS store location at 4480 S Cobb, Drive SE Ste H at approximately 12:30 pm to make a few Amazon returns. When I arrived at the location, there was one customer in front of me. There were 4 employees in all at the location. The 3 employees that were not helping the customer, at the counter, was standing behind the counter chatting. When the employee finished helping the customer and as I approached the counter with my items, she quickly walked away and said "scan your barcodes at that kiosk". I told her I did not know what she was talking about. And then she walked me over to the kiosk and said you have to scan your items, place them in a plastic bag, tie up the bag, place the label that comes out on the bag, and place in a bin. I immediately asked her why I am being made to do their job and she said if you have returns you have to use it. At that point, I went ahead and used it but was so bothered, because there was no sign saying that this was a new requirement and the sign over the kiosk clearly said "tada, try me (for drop offs and returns)"; which was clearly an indicator that it was not a requirement. As I was scanning my own items, there were two other customers that came in with multiple returns and each one of them were greeted and the employees excepted, scanned and took their returns. When I realized what was happening, I immediately asked the older Caucasian bald man; why I was made to scan and package my returns and the other two customers were not. His reply was we are encouraging customers to use the kiosk when we become crowded and cannot help you. I went on to say they did not give me a choice, but rather made me use it. Then I asked why the two customers (who were both Caucasian) did not have to scan their returns; and he said because it was not free because you were using it. Then he went on to say that they made me use it because, no one was using it when I entered the store. He also stated that it will be required or all customers and that they have already ordered another kiosk. I am absurd that I was forced to use a kiosk that was not required and treated differently from the other two customers. If it is a requirement, the all customers should be required to use it and if not, they should ask whether you are interested in trying it out now. Either they have bigotry going on in their store or the employees just don't want to work & do their jobs. I understand that things can get hard and that many UPS employees were on strike; however, that is no reason to not provide the best customer experience ever. I definitely will not visit this location again. And I would warn you to proceed with caution as well. Beyond disappointing. read more

Nestled in the Publix shopping center of off Cobb parkway and EW connector between addington jewelers and T mobile is this UPS store. Parking can be a bit of a challenge so try not to go during busy shopping hours. Overall this location is convenient and clean. They typically staff it with several members at busy times. I deducted one star as one of the newer employees doesn't seem very customer service friendly and has had an attitude as if you are bothering him sometimes. However everyone else has been friendly positive and this is my preferred location! read more

3 stars average rating for this store? (as of Feb 2019). Wow, people are harsh. Then again, what can you write about a UPS store? I guess people only review it if they have a bad experience. Most UPS stores I've been to have been fine. They all seem to staff friendly and helpful people. Some stores are super-busy. But they all were nice and friendly to me. This UPS store is no different. I never had any problems here. I can ship my packages fine. I never had an issue. If I had to nitpick, I would say the parking situation is inconvenient. There are no close parking near by. So you might have to park closer to Publix. That's inconvenient when I have to carry a big package to ship. Oh well, first world problems. read more

Horrible experience. Submitted an online print order. Couldn't check the status. Corporate was no help - could only say wait and call the location when they open in the morning. When I call the store turns out they cannot receive online orders. But they can charge my credit card. Had to go back to corporate to get a refund. Complete waste of time. I had a package shipped here for someone and they have misplaced the package twice. Last week I got confirmation that it was delivered and they couldn't find it. They ended up calling later that day to say they found it. I received a text today and UPS is saying that the package has been delivered and once again they can't find the package. Do no I repeat don't do business with this place. They will hold your mail. I wasn't getting mail even though I signed up for premium tracking through usps so I can see when it was being dropped. Very Poor Customer Service! I couldn't find the post office, so I stopped in to buy stamps. I don't usually buy large quantities of stamps for work or anything, but had a special project. I don't know all the intricacies of buying postage. So I didn't know that these guys mark up the price of stamps by 16% (or $.55 for a $.46 stamp!). In other words, they just made $18 off of a non-profit organization. For shame. Nothing posted in the store and when I first asked if they sold stamps, no mention of it. Might have been a good time to put that in. When I noticed the price I just paid for stamps, I asked about it. I was laughed at and she told me that most people know (shrug). ...Wow... I am a very busy mom. When I ship stuff I try to have it all packaged and labeled. However on more than one occasion have I brought this UPS store and load of mess, no packaging, nothing. And they always were able to pack It up for me, it has always gotten to where it needs to go and they do it with a smile!!! I'd rather go there than the post office hands down. Took advantage of my lack of knowledge of UPS corporate accounts. Rather than assist me with sending a package on a corporate account, they made me pay for it, saying they can't ship without payment. Someone walked in as I was leaving and I watched them accept the package, the customer said it was a corporate account, they took it from the customer and no money changed hands. read more

I am a very frequent customer of the UPS Store in Highlands Station. The customer service there is superb. Very friendly staff with an upbeat attitude and always ready to help. Although there is a surcharge on mailing anything via postal service, it is well worth avoiding the headache of going to the Post Office.
