I have had a mailbox at this UPS location for nearly 20yrs. Today I closed it due to Kirsten (unsightly brunette with glasses) sabotaging my incoming mail/packages. Over the years, I have had a few unpleasant exchanges with her over my mail/packages and today was the last straw. Well, I was expecting a package from Canada which was due to arrive on Feb 4/26. The items were for my brother's funeral so when I received an email from these people that my package had arrived, I swung by to pick it up. It was not the correct package so I tracked the package on my phone and saw that it was refused by the receiver (UPS @ 2451 Cumberland). I explained to her that the package coming in from Canada may require a custom fee. She (Kirsten) admitted that earlier in the day she refused a package because they didn't have any cash on hand however, she didn't bother to look at the name of the receiver or inquire what the cost was. I found that rather odd and off putting but didn't bother to question her further. She suggested I call the 1-800. I got in my car and did just that. The cost was $44.99. I immediately called back the store and spoke to Kirsten's dad (older man). I asked him how they would handle packages that required Custom Fees/COD. Her Dad explained that their 'protocol' for packages requiring Custom Fees or COD are: They would call the customer (myself) and confirm whether I wanted them to accept and pay for it on my behalf and then I would in turn reimburse them. My package was redeliverd on Feb 6/26. I went in to pick it up and asked the dad for clarification on why his daughter (Kirsten), would refuse a package without looking at the name and wouldn't even bother to follow 'protocol' given the fact that, yes, I've been a customer for nearly 20yrs. He staunchly defended her saying that maybe my name was not on the package, that I should have given them a heads up about the custom fees and blah blah blah. Sir, I just spoke to you a couple days ago about your protocol!!! None of this sat well with me so I returned by mailbox key and demanded a refund on my mailbox. The only thing consistent in this place is POOR, UNFRIENDLY, SURLY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! read more

Dante, one of the service reps always has a smile on his face no whether whether it's the beginning of the day or the end of the day when you know a lot has gone on before hand, especially during Christmas time where everyone's shipping and have little time to be polite! Dante is always friendly and always so accurate in knowing exactly what my needs are and how to meet them! The rest of the crew is great as well! It's always a fast in and out because they're so efficient! I am really sad when I have to go to other UPS stores and deal with poor service and poor attitudes. These people really rock as far as knowing how to please a customer. UPS store is to the left of the cleaners and to right of the Publix grocery store I will continue to come here as long as I can. read more

Went to ship 2 packages and drop off some stamped letters. There was a long wait time which is totally fine, no complaints there as I could see all 3 employees working the counter were helping people, just a busy day I assume, which is again no problem. The lady who helped me was brunette with glasses and had a very poor attitude, was very rude to me and the people she'd been helping beforehand, and also the USPS employee who had come in to drop off packages. She even said to me about that USPS employee "why can't people just do their job right?" ma'am I am just trying to finish my business and not talk poorly about another person or listen to you gripe about them to me, your customer. Everyone else working seemed to be much more kind and have a better attitude and more patience. Legitimately the only reason this is not a better review is due to this woman's approach to customer service. read more

This UPS store sits in the Publix shopping center that is located at the intersection of Cumberland Parkway and Paces Ferry. I have been here a few times to mail items and return Amazon packages, and each time was quick and seamless. The staff is always friendly, even when they have a line building, they make sure to address everyone in line that they will be with them soon. Parking is no issue due to their location in the Publix shopping center. Overall, solid UPS Store location! read more

Some of these UPS stores are the most unwelcoming places I have ever visited. I visited the 2451 Cumberland Pkwy location (Store #2687) on 8/22/24 at 8:08 am a received the worst customer service. When I came in there was a middle aged (I am assuming) Caucasian woman with glasses behind the counter. The door was propped open and a lady in the doorway (I assuming the workers friend based on their conversation). They were just carrying on a conversation as if I was not there. I approached the counter and the woman with the glasses never acknowledged me, just took my package and continued her conversation with the lady in the doorway. She was having an entire conversation about how she was going to see Bruno Mars this weekend, etc...etc. Once she scanned my package she just handed me my receipt and sent me on my way still without an acknowledgement. Personally based on her behavior and demeanor, it was obvious she doesn't like to deal with others of a different hue. I understand most of these UPS stores are independently owned; however, these stores need to uphold the name of UPS and train their employees to extend professional behavior to their customers. I hope this review makes it to the hands of the owners and that they will take my review and concern seriously. I won't frequent this store again. Very disappointed. read more

I've NEVER been so mistreated by a business ever in my life. Simply stopped at a different location to ship out Amazon packages and the employee named Donte I believe was the CRUDEST employee I've ever encountered. He made mistakes apps with the barcodes I was presenting along with the packages, from the very beginning was speaking to me disrespectfully and unprofessionally- ended up basically telling me I was on my on, he was done simply walked away all The while yelling disrespectfully still as I'm trying to resolve the issue with the apparent owner who did NOTHING to de-escalate the situation nor the female employee Kirsten. I called corporate and reported the entire incident and yes, apparently they don't tolerate customers being mistreated because staff had a busy, long and stressful day. read more

The lady--the only lady there--had an awful attitude when I went into the store to drop off a parcel that already had a label on it. Like she woke up on the wrong side of the bed. When I asked her to add a second piece of tape to my parcel, she became irrationally hostile. And I visit there frequently with no problems at all. Just a terrible. read more

I love popping in here to send back my Amazon returns! On Amazon Prime you can select to bring your return to UPS without packaging or anything and they send you a QR code. You show the QR code to the team member, and they take care of the rest! It's literally the easiest thing ever. I will admit, I buy and return items from Amazon kinda often so the fact that this process is so easy just encourages more of the behavior. Anyway, we'll address that another time. The process itself is easy but the fact that this UPS store provides an excellent visit is props to them. First of all, it smells nice in the store. That might sound weird, but think about it - cardboard boxes and mailing tape don't smell good. But they've got it smelling like a daisy in there, so it is worth noticing. Additionally, the team there is super friendly. So happy to help and always have a smile to share. I really appreciate this!! The store is always clean and in good shape when I pop in. There is plenty of parking because it's shared with Publix. Overall, just a lovely UPS store! read more

I just had to run in to this UPS store at 6:20 p.m. To mail a very special birthday gift to my dear sister in Michigan. I was unprepared and disorganized. I had to put the item in the Box, fill out the card, and tape the Box shut. Tom and the other employee in there whose name I did not get, and the UPS driver waited patiently & pleasantly while I got my act together. This kind of customer service is rare and exceptional. I greatly appreciate their fantastic service and will continue to do business here again and again. I WILL recommend this location to anyone I know. Thank you so much guys! Beware of the frowns! This use to be a great UPS Store for wonderful customer service. Not anymore. First, I will say that the old bearded man has always been grumpy. That's not new. What made this place special was a couple of employees who must've left. They were the reasons why I started going to this location in 2017. There was a fun spirited middle aged lady and an energetic young male. Apparently, they were replaced with the young, sassy woman and old grumpy woman. Not great additions to the bearded grumpy man. There is no balance in the atmosphere now. On Monday (12/30/19), I had two boxes packed and shipped to Dallas, Texas for 2 Day shipping. The young, sassy woman said the UPS drivers were too tired from Christmas deliveries, so trucks were not running on New Year's Eve. Therefore, delivery of my packages would be on Friday, 1/3/20 instead of Thursday, 1/2/20. I knew trucks weren't running on New Year's Day since it was holiday. No ground service on New Year's Eve sounded fishy. After leaving and checking into this, I learned that my packages were purposely scheduled for a later delivery date by this woman. I guess she made the decision to schedule 3 Day Ground (vs. 2 Day Ground) Service because the "drivers were too tired from Christmas deliveries". She and the two grumpy old people complained about being too busy, tired and everything that was bothering them while I was standing in line, being serviced and while I was leaving. I smiled throughout the entire dark scene. Bring back the customer friendly employees and move the complainers to the back please. They don't want to help customers who are supporting your business! read more

Family run business, people who care about their custimers. My son lost his wallet out of state and needed ID to fly home. UPS did not timely deliver as promised, but Kiersten at this UPS store stayed on it for multiple days and made sure that the package ultimate got to him in time for him to be able to fly home. Always professional and helpful staff. The only issue I have is the parking. It's a nightmare. The store itself has great customer service. I've never had an employee issue . I've never had to wait for a long amount of time. It's just the location, that is difficult to navigate, especially w a larger SUV . So be prepared for little to no parking. read more

I received an email that said my package was delivered, however when I got to the store - there was no package delivered. I had a trip to make with those items the next day and Kirsten put on her super hero cape and saved the day!! So easy. Skip the banks tried on three occasions using Bank Of America don't bother! They notarized documents incorrectly. UPS Store in Vinings to the rescue! Would highly recommend and use again! I've used UPS stores all the time for services of overnight deliveries, Amazon returns and tracking services. It's always been simple walking into the store when I've needed to print out a label and be on my way. But they charge computer usage to use the computer to print. If they charged 10 cents for each paper I'd understand for the cost the paper but to be charged to a few dollars to use the computer for all of two minutes? Such an inconvenience and waste of money. read more
