Unfortunately this location did not have either a scale or a self-serve machine so I was unable to do it. I just drove back over to the Ross Street post office that I have been to before. They are a much larger post office and have both scale and the self-serve machine so I was able to weigh my package, print out a label for it and send it on its way.

And they told me there is never a supervisor there and we're very rude to me because I was asking for a supervisor. So it's pretty much a group of really rude ladies who are never supervised and are making up their own rules for the post office and that's how they get away with it. I wrongly mailed an Amazon package to my business, Which was closed over the holiday break, and therefore attempted mail delivery was not happening...so I made contact with mail carrier, Wendy, on foot, to see if my Amazon package was in her vehicle. It was not her route, but she was quick to get me the information and help so that I could receive my mail package that specific day! Wendy and Paul were Lifesavers! I am very thankful to USPS for helping me get my package on time, when I was the one wrongly mailing it to a closed business! "Thank you guys" is not enough! The supplies mailed were needed for an event that next day! Woah...USPS came in clutch. Thanks again!

There were several counters to work on but they were smaller than the ones at the Jordan post office that I usually go to. They had a self serve station which is always good so you can get your business done when the post office is closed. Last pickup for packages was 5 p.m., a little earlier than the Jordan post office which is 5:15 p.m. This one was closer to where I was running other errands so I just decided to stop here in case I didn't make it to my usual post office before the last pickup time.

They mentioned taking it to a UPS Store and showing them the Code I received from Amazon. I happened to see this UPS store when I pulled into the parking lot to look up a location of a restaurant so I decided to go ahead and take it in there. I had just put the box in my car this morning so I might as well get rid of it. If it hadn't been for the long line it would have been a perfect experience. They did keep it moving pretty fast for a while but then they hit a couple of customers that took a little longer so there was quite a wait. Once I got to the counter the clerks were really friendly and my transaction only took a couple of minutes. I can recommend this place but be prepared for a possible wait if they get hit by a large group of people at once.

Sometimes this location is open during their business hours, and sometimes the door is locked…read more There have been 3 occasions when I've tried to go in during business hours and the "open" sign is illuminated, but the door is locked. This has been on Fridays and Saturdays, and not during lunch hours. Today it was locked at 2pm when the business hours say 10am-6pm, and the "open" light was on. I'd recommend just finding a different location rather than hoping you catch this one when the door is unlocked.

One was USPS for $43. for 5-7 day ground delivery, and the other was $63 for FED X Ground. I mentioned that I had a package delivered overnight next morning delivery for $44. Gary said it was because of the meds and the hotel tax that they had to pay (WHAT?) I asked does that include all of your fees and he said yes. I told him to go ahead and ship it USPS. A week later I checked my bank account ant was charged $63. instead of $43. I called to find out why I was charged more and to check the status of the package. He said that the floods in Huston, the USPS was backed up. When I "tried" to explain to him about the over charges that were not agreed upon, he said that he never gave me a quote of $43 and that I was the one that mentioned having a package shipped for $44. I told him I wanted a receipt, he said again that it was because of the Hotel tax they had to pay and the fees USPS charged to handle the meds. After that he became belligerent and was speaking over me I could not get a word in. I had to finally hang up. I waited two more weeks for the package to show up. I took it back to the post office and spoke to the Post Master General. He said that the cost they would have charged was $12.62, and that they did not have a fee for shipping meds, because shipping drugs through the mail is illegal except for Pharmacy's and Hospitals. The PM said the label was not their label and was printed out on his printer. The date on the label was printed out was 1 week after Gary said it was mailed. The return address came from the Amarillo Motel. When I opened up the box it smelled of stale cigarette smoke. And to top it off, I never got a receipt of the transaction. The phone number on the web is disconnected, but the # that the hotel has is the # to get ahold of them. LESSON LEARNED! Do not ever leave anything in your room. A caution the hotels in the area, Be aware of who you recommend handling the affairs of your guest.
