Had the breakfast burrito before a morning flight, burrito was mediocre at best, the waitress Carrie was absolutely horrible, every time I asked for anything she acted annoyed, even when I asked for a refill on my coffee. I also asked for water and again attitude Waitress was i a horrible mood and surely made you lnow she was. Do yourself a favor and skip this place if you are ever in Milwaukee airport. read more

First off, I need to say I'm only rating the airport location not Usinger's as a whole because they offer great meats. If you're in town, visit the store front on Old World Third Street. As for the airport, don't purchase the premade sandwiches. For a few quarters more you get a hot panini and fries. I made this mistake and was jealous of my traveling partner whose food looked much better. read more

Terrible service - can't get anyone here to take an order. And employees are totally unaware of pretty much everything happening at the restaurant. Better to go to Nonnas right next door. There aren't many options in the D concourse so it's too bad that this is what they have. Food is greasy. read more

Usingers - Restaurant empty and lots of waiters around but no one doing much, certainly not serving customers. - Sports Bars Near Me - Milwaukee, Wisconsin

What a breathtakingly awful experience! I've never seen anything like it. The management should either train their employees or hire some new ones. The employees managed to be both hostile and indifferent to me and to others who were waiting in line, and they should be ashamed of themselves. My husband and I each ordered a sandwich on Sunday evening, 07/16/17. We had 40 minutes before we had to board our flight, there were two parties of two ahead of us, so we figured we had plenty of time to grab a sandwich. The lady who took our order acted like we were bothering her. She was rude and condescending. First red flag. We were surprised by her rudeness, but we weren't concerned yet at this point because the sandwiches looked good. Five minutes pass. Ten minutes. Fifteen. Twenty. We're starting to wonder if they forgot our order. Along with the cashier, there was a male and a female employee near the register. They leaned back against the counter with their arms crossed, facing the customers who were waiting, chatting and laughing while the line behind us began to grow. They appeared zero percent concerned, and their eyes looked past the line of customers while they conversed. We see the two parties ahead of us complaining to the cashier and another worker about the long wait. The employees found this amusing, and told the people ahead of us that they should've expected a long wait. (What?) WE certainly weren't told that there would be a long wait, but now we have $20 and a stupid amount of time invested into two sandwiches, with no hope of a refund from the scowling Condescending Cashier. THIRTY MINUTES after we placed our order, and ten minutes before we need to board our flight, Condescending Cashier calls our number and I take the bag. My husband's sandwich is in the bag, but mine is missing. Awesome. AWESOME!!! I show my receipt for two sandwiches to Chatty Arms Crossed Lady, and show her that there is only one sandwich in my bag even though I paid for two. She looks at the receipt and stares at me without speaking. Wowwww. Clearly this person is not going to formulate a solution to this problem, so I explain that we need to leave, and ask her if she could hand me a ready-made sandwich (even though I had paid extra and waited thirty minutes for a fresh one). She grabs it out of the case and hands it to me without a word. My husband's freshly made sandwich was delicious, his chips were greasy, unsalted and bland. My not-so-fresh sandwich was mushy and flavorless, nothing I would knowingly pay $10 for. If I can prevent one person from wasting their time and money at this establishment, I'll have done my duty with this review. read more

just want to say I appreciate that I paid 28.93 for food I could not eat do to taking longer that 30 minutes to make one wrap and one sandwich. Had a choice of waiting for food and missing flight or wait longer for food and miss flight. I will make sure I let anyone know on public media know so no one else has to deal with such incompetence.dying the date is November 24th the order was at 517 pm and the cashier was Denise I believe at mke airport. Not that your company cares. Yall probably screw customers all the time **IF YOU WANT TO MAKE YOUR FLIGHT DO NOT EAT HERE!! YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR FOOD AND THE WORKERS DO NOT CARE!! read more

Service was okay not the best but not the worst... I got the sausage and it was pretty good the first bite just poured out juices and had good flavor. The potato salad was actually fresh and not something sitting in the fridge. The price was a bit high but expected it being in a airport. read more

Apparently I was here on a good day, as the service was friendly and fast and the food was awesome. Price is a bit steep, as I paid $19 for a brat, potato salad, Cole slaw and a Diet Coke; but not that unusual for an airport. read more

Not bad for grabbing a bit to eat at the MKE airport. We each had a breakfast burrito and were pleasantly surprised with how tasty & fresh tasting they were. I will say that I'm glad we had plenty of time to spare prior to take-off, as we did wait a bit to receive our food. Still, I'd give them another go the next time I'm there. read more

I had some time to kill at the airport. Wandered through some shops, decided it was early dinnertime, so where to go? Uh hello. Usingers is a very familiar name, I tried the bratwurst. Service was fairly good too. Everyone was polite from the person taking the orders to the servers, btw to-go ordered from the counter, dining in, seat yourself. It was kind of interesting to watch the server migrate through the tightly packed tables and myriad of confused travelers (myself included). I'm very glad I stopped by. read more

Worst service ever, don't go if you're in a hurry. Employees just standing around while customers waiting to order. Be aware when you order to specify if you want it fresh otherwise they just pull it from the stuff that's been sitting there. read more

The rudeness should have been a warning. I hope I don't get food poisoning. Needs management attention.

Ordered a Reuben here, presentation was fantastic, looked great and then I discovered that they serve adulterated Reuben's. For some unknown reason this place seems to believe that a Reuben is half corned beef, and half processed chicken/turkey meat food product. While the corned beef was surprisingly good, the mystery filler meat was not, nor did it have any reason to be in a sandwich called a Reuben. However the mystery meat made me decide not to finish this "Reuben". They also included a package of yellow mustard, also something you normally don't see on a real Reuben. Granted if they want to make a sandwich like a Reuben but put some sort of foul meat in addition to the corned beef, thousand island dressing and sauerkraut, so be it, but don't call it a Reuben, it's not. Call it the Clucker Reuben or some other clever marketing name to get people to accept it. I understand the filler meat, to cut costs, but this is an over $10 sandwich, why on earth are you adulterating it with processed turkey or chicken? Oh that's right you are an airport concession and you have a captive audience to fleece in quality and price. Makes me wonder what else they are doing, and I am glad I didn't try any of the sausage or product where the average person doesn't know the contents. This place belongs at an airport, it is a ripoff, I should have known better, but was conned by way they made it look like it was just a branch of a local restaurant that might have good food instead of the usual airport concession ilk. Stay away, you can do better buying the crap they sell on the airlines now. read more

The food was decent for an airport, but if you don't have a lot of time to waste then skip it or get one of the pre-made items (wraps/sandwiches). Ordered a chili to go and it took literally 20 minutes to get it. They weren't even busy. Felt bad for the guy waiting for his food before we ordered ours and was still waiting when we left. read more

Reuben sandwich was terrible. Little to no sauerkraut and NO thousand island dressing. Meat was dry. Bread was soggy. Can live with 1 or 2 of those things in exchange for convenience but not all 4. Do not buy anything out of the cold case. The service matched the sandwich. Waited patiently while employee restocked napkins and utensils.... after making eye contact twice and askingfor help I walked and got the attention of another employee who helped the first employee understand she needed to help people at the counter. There are other options in the terminal. ...I recommend taking advantage of them. read more

Usingers - Sports Bars Near Me - Milwaukee, Wisconsin

The portobello burger was fairly salty and greasy, service was meh, and they were blasting Fox News the entire time. Not recommended.

Should have known better, have heard about how great the Brats/sausages are at Usingers for years...probably usually are at other locales or DIY...however, this airport version failed to impress....for $11 , it was was rubbery and dry....you can do better....luckily the Spotted Cow on draft was "spot on".... read more

Pricey. Bad service. I had the Brat and it was nothing special. My wife did the turkey roll and hated it. I might try the one downtown but never the one at the airport again. read more

Very poor customer service. The only thing I liked about this place was there draft selection on beer. Wasn't able to try there food since there kitchen closes at 7pm. Which they were very rude about. Like c'mon who closes the kitchen at 7pm in a 24/7 airport. Are you here to make money or not. Overall the staff was really rude and made a big deal about how they stayed open late just for our flight. If you're going to be rude and act like a total douche then just close at you're regular hours instead of complaining about it the entire time. Nobody wants to hear that. read more

Terrible slow service! Cheese curds were $10 and half was potato chips! Rip off. Save your money.

Very slow. I intended to dine in, but after waiting 25 minutes for a burger, had to ask for it to go.

90 minute layover - took 15 minutes for someone to take my order and they still haven't brought me my water and I have been here 35 minutes. Brought my grilled chicken sandwich and it was tough and tastes like it was cooked in a microwave. read more

Good beer selection while waiting for a flight, and good service. I had the chicken fingers, which were average. The home made potato chips are great. read more

10 dollars for 20 cheese curds , wow I will never eat at this place again lousy service and way too expensive for what you get as a road warrior stay a way from this place go to Johnny rockets instead read more

The most bland bagel sandwich I have ever had! Poor service. They have 15-20 tables and one server!

I did not like the chili that was served at this restaurant. very poor quality and weird taste. The server Pinky was not very personable and she forgot someone's whole order of food! Not cool. Slow service and I would never eat here again most likely sorry to say!. read more

Worst place I've ever been too. The bartender was rude as could be. The cashier was even more rude complaining about how terrible people are with another server. Some bars let you purchase your flight snacks at the bar but this lady yelled at me "I am standing right here why would you go over there?!" Like idk you're stanky attitude. People are stressed when they travel and a dining experience doesn't need to be terrible bc the bartenders and cashiers all hate their jobs so much they take it out on the customer. I've worked in the industry before you DONT whine about customers in which make your check possible in front of them. I will not go back to this place again. I hope those three working FOH ( ESPECIALLY THE COMPLETE ANGRY LADY ON REGISTER) on the night of 9/13/18 at 7-8pm get reprimanded for their awful service and terrible attitudes. That's no way to treat anyone ever. read more

At the airport. Very expensive, poor service. I would look elsewhere for a drink and a bit to eat.

My food came quickly but was cold and very dry. It took 15min for my server to return so I could ask for ketchup for my ultra dry chicken. She then did not return for 45 min after I finished eating despite trying to get her attention multiple times. Never coming here again and will recommend that others do the same. read more

Before I came to this place I was standing in a long Starbucks line, ridiculous. I got out of the line and began walking towards my gate and seen Usingers; no line and the music was lit! I ordered a French Toast Crossiant with Turkey instead of Pork Bacon and it was fantastic!! Ron the cook did a great job on my order. It was fast and tasted great. Customer Service was great as well. read more

Guess I had different experience than the folks below. I had plenty of time before a mid-morning flight at Mitchell and had breakfast at Usinger's. I had french toast with Usinger's sausages. Everything was fine, service was good. I'd go back again read more

It was about 2:30 pm, half the lights were off, and the cashier was nowhere to be found on the "to-go" side. I opened the case and grabbed a Ruben wrap (which was garbage) and something else my dad wanted. I then stood at the cash register for a few minutes before a grey buzz cut-wearing lady appeared to rudely tell the woman in front of me that she'll have to wait for whatever she had ordered because they didn't already have one prepared. When she finally turned her attention to me, I handed her my items and she scolded me for opening the case. I don't work there, I didn't build the case with a hinged door that easily opens from the outside. Anyway, the food was crap and cost way too much, the lady was a bitch, and if you contact Usinger's customer service, they wash their hands of it and tell you you must call a different number. I don't spend a lot of time in MKE, but none of it will ever be spent there again. read more

This is probably the worst experience I have ever had I have been a server in a restaurant for over 10 years we first sat down and was told to move because they were closing a section all the other tables were dirty then we got our table order our food and drinks and I was told by the server Pinky that they did not have spotted cow in bottles but it clearly says they do on the menu I also order crispy chicken tenders and never received them it took at least ten mins for drinks and she checked on us only one time when the rest of the table was done eating I I'm very dispirited considering this is a restaurant in an airport this is a great way to start off my trip thank you for your terrible sever will never be back or recommended it to any one were still waiting on our bill read more

4 guests wait to be served for breakfast. No service, no acknowledgment, walk up to the bar area and the employee doesn't even make eye contact. Ask for a server, get an attitude of maybe I can take your order. Walk next door, menu, coffee, and order placed within 5 minutes. Just close the doors Usinger's! read more

First off, when I sat down, the woman asked if she could help me but said it in a manner that sounded like I was an annoyance. I ordered the chicken fingers and they were more like long skinny mozzarella sticks. By far the worst chicken fingers I have ever had. Along with that, the honey mustard sauce was very strange, it looked different from every honey mustard sauce I have ever had before. On top of that, it costed me 10.60 for 5 skinny chicken fingers. Never will I come here again. read more

I never got served, never was acknowledged by a server for the ten minutes I waited. There was a server who had just finished handing a woman a to go box next to me. I thought she would say, I'll be with you in a minute. Nope. Completely ignored me. Never came back to my area until after I left to serve to men who walked up and sat down at the table the woman had just vacated. I complained to the manager but she didn't have a valid reason why the server ignored me. Suffice to say, if that server is there again, I won't be served, so I better find some other place. read more

So I get to the airport on Saturday May 16th. Get to Usinger's booth around 8:50am. Several women are working and there is a line at the counter waiting to buy things. NONE of the women ever take notice. They are gabbing. Folks ask for service.. no response... so one by one the customers leave.. It's now my turn. I ask politely "Excuse me, are you open?". Finally one of the gals stops talking and comes over and I get a sandwich for the plane. WOW!!!! What TERRIBLE customer service. I don't know if Usinger's owns this store OR they subcontract their name and let an outside agency run it. The gal had a "HMS" logo on their shirts. Anyhow, I hope this post finds its way to the appropriate manager. My advice is to go their yourself and test the customer service. Better yet, find out who was working that morning and replace them. read more
