I found Ush via Groupon and bought the cleansing facial service. The facial was nice and Usha was very cordial. The directions to get here are kind of tricky as there is a second shopping center below the one on top and the salon is located WITHIN the Sola building (doesn't appear that way on google maps). A shoulder massage is also offered with the facial but I opted out. My skin came out glowing from the facial and stayed that way all day! My only recommendation is a way to dim the lights in the room to have a more spa like ambiance! read more

I make regular appointments through their website for highlights, cut, color, wash and blow dry, lash tinting, eyebrow threading, facials, and most importantly...eyelash extensions! Their prices match the quality of service you get, in fact, I don't think they charge as much as they should! Usha is very professional and has years of experience. You'll rarely find a stylist that has the licenses and certifications that she has. I consider her a doctor of all of her available services! The salon itself is a nice boutique within the Sola Salons in Rockville and there are only ever 2 maximum clients being served at a time. Normally I'm in the salon with just Usha. But I felt uncomfortable being half-naked in a room without a door (just a curtain separated me from other people getting services). I had a facial with Anita and she gave me the most painful extractions I have ever experienced. I was left with hyperpigmentation all over my nose. I paid all that money for a facial just to leave with my face looking (and feeling) worse than before. If you're thinking about getting extractions here and are prone to hyperpigmentation, beware. Actually 0 stars --- nothing about my appointment or facial was satisfactory. Here are the numerous issues and problems: 1. confirmation text sent included incorrect appt time. I clarified the agreed-upon time. 2. text sent day of, indicating that i was late, was based on their incorrect time AGAIN, but not even the same time as before 3. i arrived on time and facialist was not ready for me - had to wait in hallway 4. then i was guided to the room and the facialist took at least another 10 minutes to get the room and her supplies ready 5. she never introduced herself - unprofessional 6. not relaxing at all - significant noise from hallway and other rooms in complex 7. unlike any of the other numerous facials i have gotten: - did not explain the steps she was taking - did not ask about my skin care routine - did not do extractions (when in reality, a facial with extractions is the same cost) 8. throughout the experience, the facial was VERY SLOPPY and ROUGH: - got loose strands of my hair in the soap twice - could not manage to keep my hair in the wrap - SOAKED much of my hair in the front - repeatedly bumped into table, shaking me read more
