Dr. Ouzounian is amazing, expert, extremely caring for the patient, very knowledgeable. Best bedside manner and patient interaction. Explains in detail. He takes time to take care of patient and never rushed. BEST MFM doctor ever. Strongly recommend him. Laura is the best US tech I have ever seen. She is very knowledgeable, expert, passionate, caring for patient, explains in detail. She did the best fetal anatomy survey. Strongly recommend her. read more

I had a fantastic experience at this clinic for both my 12-week and 20-week scans (I am of AMA). Sonographer Laura Elliot was incredible--extremely experienced, thorough, and so communicative throughout the process. We were in awe watching her work. Dr. Ouz was also kind, knowledgeable, and made us feel at ease. I feel like I'm in good hands with this team, and genuinely felt like a human being and not just a number. Both times, I was seen immediately, and my reports were uploaded to my portal promptly. Highly recommend. read more

Will not return here. I had high expectations of being seen by a qualified medical professional (Dr. Richard Lee) who was recommended to me by the ultrasound technician at my OB's office. He is also a former colleague of my endocrinologist. I had an ectopic pregnancy prior to my current pregnancy and Dr. Lee thought I had come in for the ectopic pregnancy even though he was ACTIVELY doing an ultrasound on my stomach and could SEE that my current pregnancy was in my uterus (the correct location; not ectopic). This was obviously a misunderstanding but from a medical perspective one that doesn't even make sense as an ectopic pregnancy can not travel to your uterus and re-implant or progress normally. He counseled me heavily on terminating the pregnancy even though everything was measuring on track and no abnormalities were detected during my scan. He also made me sign a waiver that I was opting not to terminate. What??? He noted on my chart & ultrasound report that I was exposed to teratogenic drugs DURING my current pregnancy (used to terminate my previous pregnancy), which was untrue. I tried to clarify this with him directly multiple times but this misinformation was still sent to my OB in a report. All around incredibly frustrating. He also told me I was at an increased risk of miscarriage and complications due to a subchorionic hematoma that was detected during my scan. While SCH does increase the possibility for adverse outcomes, 95% of women with SCH go on to have a successful pregnancy. All information was presented in a negative way with worst case scenarios emphasized. In the future, I will choose a perinatologist who is level-headed, not an alarmist and can confront any challenges that arise in pregnancy pragmatically with sound medical knowledge to back up any treatment plan or course of action. Still very confused about what even happened during this appointment. My baby is measuring on track and things are progressing well at this stage but I could not even feel excited or at ease after this appointment. read more

Dr Sasso is an incredible doctor. I saw her during my last pregnancy and really felt heard and supported each time I went in. The office is clean, professional, and easy to visit. Highly recommend! read more

I wouldn't hesitate to go here if you're referred. It's been a breath of fresh air to visit with Dr. Lee and his staff. Dr. Lee is very thorough in skill and down-to-earth in terms of bedside manner. He kind of has an endearing nutty professor vibe going on (in a charming way, not a concerning way). I appreciate that he is curious about his patients and tried to get to know a bit about my career and family, while sharing some about his. His staff, Svenka (office manager) and Marissa (physician's assistant) have been wonderful to me, a rarity with medical front office staff these days, I'm learning! They've been efficient with processing paperwork, too, from what I've noticed. There's very little wait, if any, and like another reviewer has commented, even when I've been late, they've been super understanding and accommodating without making me wait more than 15/20 mins max to be seen. Also, I like that they have a geneticist available from LabCorp to discuss amniocentesis with, as well as a visiting cardiologist from Children's Hospital LA if you are referred by Dr. Lee for further testing. Everything can be done from his office, which is a bonus, and the visiting providers from CHLA and Labcorp have been professional and wonderful as well. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS!!! Let me say first that this is my 2nd time seeing Dr. Mullins and Dr. Lee. Both are super nice. You just know they love what they're doing. However, the ladies at the front office are horrible. Laura who is the one that helped me inside and did the ultrasound was amazing. The ladies at the front made me feel so bad for taking my son to my appointment. The receptionist told me that they might have to resched me because I have my son. I was okay with but they said they're going to make an exemption. Don't be fooled because for the first time in my life, these ladies made me feel so horrible that they have to take care of my son for 10 mins. Mind you, I was okay to come back if they cant see me. They told me all kinds of comments like, why did u bring him? We can't work. And these are mother's too themselves supposedly. Laura was amazing inside the ultrasound room and made me feel that everyone was there to help me. But the ladies outside have no manners, rude as hell and lacks empathy. Stay away from here if you can. read more

Just had my appointment today, I'm only giving two stars, one for the wonderful nurse who took my measurements and one for the doctor who was also great. BUT..... They have this rule of no visitors (no husbands) can come in with you during the apt. But while I was waiting, a woman and her husband were called , and they snuck in the husband 2 mins later through the back door after the patient went in. I was so pissed. I called two days before my appointment to see if my husband can come with me, I even called the Burbank USC prenatal, same reply no husbands allowed, covid rules. I was so nervous for my 20 weeks scan, I was dreading going by myself, I really wanted my husband there. It not fair, it's once in a lifetime moments for some of us. I can't believe they would do that. Unprofessional favoritism Going there already nervous, and now I'm in the room crying .... I never want to go back to this office read more

I had a very positive experience at USC perinatal group. After my first OBGYN appointment I was referred to them for a follow up ultrasound. Within 24 hours they called me to schedule an appointment. This building is very new and parking was a breeze. I was super impressed with the friendliness & efficiency of the staff, cleanliness, ability to social distance, and restrooms. Laura did my ultrasound for me. Right from the start she gave me quick & clear instructions as to what we were going to do first (baby check up business) & then she would show me baby in detail. She was so kind and easy going. She really made this an amazing experience for me. After my ultrasound the ladies got me a follow up appointment snd I was in and out of there! Thank you USC perinatal group, I'm grateful for this office! read more

Unlike the other reviews, my experience was actually really great! I saw Dr. Mullin and I was in and out in under an hour. I even arrived 5mins late to my appointment and they called my name shortly after being seated. The waiting room was full and it looked like they had a busy day ahead, but everything went really well. I have no complaints about my experience and I felt like Dr. Mullin was very communicative, thorough and gentle. The staff was nice and friendly, as well. I forgot my ID and the lady at the front desk just handed me her email and told me to email it to her when I got a chance. So easy! I definitely recommend this place! read more

I am so disappointed with the service I received here. We waited an hour to get in and then 20+ minutes for the doctor to come in after the technician did the ultrasound. I ended up walking out because I had a meeting for work scheduled an hour and a half after my appointment thinking that would be more than enough time but that was not the case. The fact that they are inconsiderate about our time really gets to me because we are working professionals and they need to need to be professional and have proper etiquette with their appointment slots. They called me a minute after walking out asking me to come back in telling me the doctor was about to go in when I walked out. Just ridiculous because that is almost an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment. Make sure to schedule your time appropriately if you do decide to come here. Looks like you will need about 2 hours blocked from work to be safe. read more

DO NOT GO!!! NO START IF I CAN APPLY. When i scheduled my NT appointment, I do provided my insurance, they accepted and scheduled my appointment. Waiting time was long, and scan was quick, but didn't recieve any 3D color images for my baby until 2 weeks later I noticed from my coworker. She went to other clinic for her NT, because she called USC, they checked her insurance told her it's not covered and CASH PRICE IS $394. We have the same insurance. So I called USC to check with them, the answer is they just caught this up until someone called yesterday who's my coworker. They told me to talk with Dr. find out the discount price for me. Just spoke with Senka, she told me Dr Lee gave me 50% off, sounds good right? No! They think everyone is fool. They changed the price to $788, after discount is $394 which is the same price they provided to my coworker for CASH PATIENT. DO NOT GO OTHERWISE YOU WILL REGRET YOUR CHOICE! read more

Marissa is caring, sweet, and responsible. Dr. Lee is knowledgeable, gentle, and responsive to patients' concerns.

Terrible wait time. You wait at least 45 minutes (on a good day). Take the whole day off of work no point of making an appointment. People are nice but they really need a manager to check of efficiency. I sat down for 20 minutes just to be handed 15 pages to fill out. Hand that to me to when I check in. Recommend: someone giving the waiting room an update "the doctor is having an emergency right now we apologize but we are running a little behind" read more

No matter how early you get here you will end up waiting for 30min post your scheduled appointment time which I don't mind at all. I understand covid limits people and the amount of people they allow inside but the anatomy ultrasound of our FIRST baby is a HUGE important day for us and I'm sure every future FATHER will feel the same, no matter if it's your first, second, third or hundredth baby. Not to let the father in to see the anatomy ultrasound is plain WRONG. It's my babies ultrasound and not to be allowed in due to "covid" is bs. I will definitely report to the medical board and other applicable agencies as this is no way the intent of any covid regulation. You can not and will not prohibit any other father from being able to see their child's anatomy ultrasound. If your a father and care, DONT go here. There are plenty of other places you can go. For a USC grad to refer people away from a USC establishment should say how disappointed and dissatisfied I am with this place and their "covid" rules. This is the ONLY place that has not allowed me in as a father. read more

****AVOID AT ALL COSTS**** This has got to be one of the worst, if not THE WORST, medical experiences of my life. We came in for an ultrasound for my wife because we were referred by her doctor to this particular place. We came in on time for an appointment that was scheduled two months ago. We didn't receive any reminder calls and we live an hour away, so just to make sure we still had an appointment, we called before we left and the woman on the phone said, "uhmmmmm yeah I think...yeah...you have an appointment." That should have been a warning sign but since we were looking forward to this appointment for months, we decided to drive on over. We waited for over an hour and a half and ended up leaving without even BEING CALLED IN. Meanwhile, more than 20 other women came and were called in who all came in after us! We asked what the delay was and they said to sit down and wait 20 more minutes!!! Forty minutes later they said we were next and the room was being cleaned. Twenty minutes after that they said the doctor was with another patient. Wait, what? So they cleaned the room and took another patient while we've been waiting over an hour and a half! Completely BOGUS LIES! This is extremely frustrating. We had other appointments in the day so we had to leave. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED AND WILL NEVER EVER EVER COME BACK TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE EVER AGAIN! Wish I could give them zero or negative stars because they don't even deserve one star. read more

I'm surprised by all the negative reviews on here. My OB referred me here to do my "big" ultrasounds. I came here twice, once for the 1st trimester NT scan and then again for my 20 week anatomy scan, and both times I was in and out of the office in less than 40 minutes. Both times I was seen within 10-15 minutes of my appointment time. The doctor himself did the NT scan for me and the whole ultrasound procedure probably took about 20 minutes. The second time a technician did the anatomy scan for me and then the doctor came in afterwards to go over everything. Again the whole procedure probably took about 20 minutes. Overall the office staff here is very nice and efficient. Their rooms and equipment also look very nice and up to date. The only downside is that they don't call you for appointment reminders so make sure you remember your appointment date and time! read more

HORRIBLE wait time. The first time I came about a month ago, I had a scheduled appointment and waited for about 30 minutes. I'm currently in the waiting area going on an hour of waiting for another scheduled appointment that I got here 15 minutes early for. Nurses and techs are nice and helpful but goodness gracious, they need to work on their scheduling or efficiency or something. Especially dealing with pregnant patients! read more

Waited 50 mins after scheduled appointment time. The DMV moves faster than USC Perinatal Group. First and second appointment during covid moved much faster, waited at most 15 mins... 3rd appointment, am still waiting last 50 mins even when I asked if it's better for me to come in another day. There isn't no more than two other people in the waiting area and they are probably waiting for the other suites in the same area. Trust all the negative reviews. The wait time is beyond unnecessary. read more

We were going to give just one star or negative star if possible but we decided two stars because we had a positive experience here before for our first baby. Today we went there for the second baby's anatomy scan, which was just absolutely terrible. I guess it all depends on who you end up getting for prep nurse and the doctor. We had a COMPLETE different experience than our first child's appointment!!! For our first child we had Dr. Epstein who was just wonderful and the prep nurses were friendly and excellent, throughly going over everything. Today for our second child, the prep nurse was very rude and incompetent. She kept saying she has like 50 different things to do and i should just let her do her job, so she had me put very still, and i could only be in certain position with my arms only on my chest only, not even letting me look at the screen to see my own baby. I had to just look at the wall the whole time. I already did this whole anatomy scan before at this same exact room for my first child literally a year ago, and the prep nurses were not this uptight and nervous about "doing their job". The previous nurses were very friendly and supportive about us becoming a future parent to the baby we were looking at as they "did their job" and we could see our baby for god's sake. Isn't one of the big perks besides going to get measurements and making sure the baby is doing okay is for you to see your future baby? And if some incompetent uptight nurse feels like they can't "do their job" measuring unless i only look at the wall the whole time, i say that is not a qualified professional and incompetent. Just flat out rude also just complaining about how she has 50 diff things to do. Totally unprofessional! This incompetent prep nurse technician lady's name was Laura. It's a shame because we had a great experience at USC perinatal before but this time completely ruined our experience here and we surely wont be returning in case we run into a shitty prep nurse like this and just an ok doctor. They were uptight about taking pic or video of our baby this time too, which wasnt the case at all for our first a yr ago. It wasnt that long ago that we were here for our first child so we had a direct comparison. Wow, what a huge difference! rude, lack of caring, and incompetent this time around. We didnt even get good pics to show my husband who couldnt come during this covid crisis. To summarize, if you happen to get a shitty nurse or dr by shitty luck, you will have a shitty experience for once in a life time viewing of your precious baby. And yes, these shitty uncaring staff should understand that they are in the business for understanding or at least act like they care that every baby is precious to their parents and they should not discourage from seeing your future baby. Negative 10 stars for today, and positive 5 stars from a year ago. And again we wont be going back. It's a shame to loose business over just one shitty person who makes the whole perinatal group bad. read more

If I could give zero or negative stars I would. Everyone here has a major attitude problem and even the slightest question makes it worse. Worst service I have ever received, especially considering this is a Perinatal Office. They need a major upgrade in their customer service skills in order to keep their patients satisfied. Not to mention I have no currently been waiting for 50 minutes and am continuing to wait in the waiting room!!!! I will never come back worst place ever. read more

Second time here. Wait time still sucks. I have PPO so I'm not used to all these lags. I can't remember how long they made me wait for my first appointment. But I do know I checked in on time. But the wait was long enough for me to change diapers on 2 of my kids in the restroom down the hall, hand the kids to my husband then go back to use the restroom, then surf the internet in the waiting area. My first appointment was 10:45 am. Second time here: came in 4 minutes late for a 9 am appointment and they got me into the room until 9:20. I guess the wait time wasn't as bad since it was an early morning appointment. At 9:20, a nurse let me into the room, prepped me and had me lay on my back with my exposed 34 week pregnant belly for 5 minutes. Is this good for circulation? After 5 minutes, the dr still didn't come into the room so I had my husband sit me up. 9:30 dr walks in. He's pleasant. Appointment is over by 9:37 am. read more

Been here twice in the last month, both times took over an hour after our "scheduled appointment" to be seen. Horrible front desk lady. Completely clueless and rude. We came early to our appointment in hopes of being seen a bit early but she WOULDNT GIVE ME MY PAPERWORK until exactly my appointment time. Also, I asked if there was a place to get food close by because I was hungry. She gave me a definitive no. After sitting for 30 minutes we realized there was a subway right across the street and a commissary. She had terrible manners and grammar and, as a business owner, I would be devastated if my front desk staff spoke to people like this. What a crummy way to start what is supposed to be an exciting experience of seeing my baby. read more

This is my second time using USC prenatal and I have to say the service is horrible and has not improved. The Drs are kind and take the time to explain the ultrasounds to you but it's the front staff that make the experience bad. Besides being rude and short with you, they do not return any number of voicemails left to re schedule Apt's. After leaving multiple voicemails I had to have my OBGYN call them to get a call back. Then they said I had no showed to the apt and had not left any voicemails. The front staff seem unorganized and lack proper communication and respect for the pregnant moms to be who are utilizing their services. The fact that this facility is linked to PPO insurance is just sad. The fact that this is on Huntington Hospital Grounds just makes the hospital itself look bad. read more

I dont know if people have a choice in which office they visit but this is one I would avoid at all costs. It takes at least 30 minutes to be seen. Their techs and doctors disagree on what they see, and I was given a mild panic attack and sent to children's hospital because of a problem they diagnosed that no one else could see. Thet make you come back time and time again, in the hopes of getting your money and billing insurance, and their parking fee of 20 dollars is absurd. read more

I had a great experience here. I was seen within 15 mins of my appointment time, and the nurse practitioner who performed the NT scan was kind and thorough. It's really sad to see all these negative reviews knowing that everyone is doing the best they can with covid limitations. Personally, my experience has been amazing. I have had Dr Lee as my doctor since my first visit for NT scan until my last growth scan at 36 weeks. Some appts, I did have to wait, but realistically speaking I didn't mind knowing that I also got the same care and time when I went in. Sometimes people have questions & I think that should be a sign that the doctors take their time to acknowledge & provide informative information to concerned parents which often leads to the possible delay with other appts. Let's be a little more understanding to that because if it was you, you wouldn't be complaining. Let's be mindful not all our situations/pregnancy are the same, and there may be times in which husbands might have been allowed in for genetic counseling. It doesn't mean that there was "favoritism." With that said, Dr Lee has always been great, very thorough in explanations, and always professional yet empathetic to my concerns. I would def recommend coming here as I have had positive interactions with staff at all levels. read more

Had my 1st trimester scan here and it was an unpleasant experience. Front office staff and nurse who drew my blood were great and friendly. The Ultrasound tech, Sanam, however was so unpleasant. She wasn't friendly and would ignore questions I asked. This was my first time seeing my baby and was so excited but her attitude killed any joy I had. She seemed annoyed and rushing to get through with it. With my first son, the other tech was great and walked me through what she was seeing and answered my questions. So this second experience was greatly disappointing. read more

It's really disheartening to see so many poor reviews based on wait time. Be patient, Folks. Please. Regarding care, there is no better. This is a medical specialty office and not just an OBGYN so Individuals and families are going to need to take more time with their doctor. When our six month ultrasound uncovered a significant arrhythmia in our baby's heartbeat I was immediately sent to the emergency room in Huntington Hospital. We were terrified. Thankfully, Dr. Aaron Epstein was on call that evening and we could not have been luckier. Not only did he spend significant time with us, monitoring the baby and answering question after question, but he also utilized his own personal network of perinatal specialists to review our ultrasound via FaceTime for additional assurance. We continued to see Dr. Epstein twice a week for follow-up visits at the office. Yes we had to wait, that's a product of living in mass-populated Southern California and having a poor system of healthcare. Be grateful these doctors have dedicated their lives to the care and wellbeing of YOUR child. As a Bruin, this is the first and last time I will say, "thank you, USC." Thank you. read more

i dont get how this has awful reviews! i have had 2 experiences that make this place amazing. i came here twice (coming again for 35 week ultrasound) because of high potein levels in my urine and much more. the desk people were also very nice and patient. the waiting was a bit too long but very reasonable because the OB's had tons of patients and they like to make sure they get to everyone. the waiting room wasnt packed at all, and everyone there is pretty friendly. i met a mommy to be there and told me why she was there. if you get there early (20-30 mins before) they call you in earlier if theres not much people they have to get to! OB's are kind and thorough, and also love to make sure they go through everything during the ultrasound. although, i would say i wish they were longer during ultrasounds. mine took about 10 mins the second time being there, but i guess my baby was healthy as they said. so i dont worry much.... but still..... haha read more

I had my NT scan + Anatomy scan at this office - The technician and Dr. Epstein were both really nice and informative. I didn't wait long, and the office is really nice. My only complaint would be that they do not confirm the appointment - when I went for my anatomy scan the ladies at the front desk had no clue why I was there or even who I was, but the DR was still able to see me at my scheduled time so I have no idea what that was about. I think having some kind of follow up / appt reminder or confirmation would be helpful. As far as the medical staff goes, they were very knowledgeable and professional - they even seemed to enjoy giving me the good news that my baby was healthy and growing normally :) read more

They were both really thorough and patient during the scan and provided us with a lot of sonogram print outs. We got to see all parts of our baby boy, it was a good experience. We were done at about 11:10am. The building is under construction and so there's a lot going on on the exterior. Parking is with the hospital and they do not offer validation unfortunately. read more

9:15AM appointment and didn't get called in until 10:00AM. During the ultrasound the tech was doing all the measurements and not explaining anything to us so naturally I asked questions. She seemed nice and answered here and there but then said, "I need to get these measurements right and can't be distracted with talking." I wish she would have just explained that from the beginning! It was so rude. She did drop the gender in there like we already knew which we did not. I was so disappointed and will never go back to this office.
