DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - zero stars! Over the phone, Sean quoted me a price of $399. He and an assistant arrived quickly enough and removed a single nuisance bat in my home. He handed me an invoice for $499 and I reminded him of the $399 quote. He again agreed, but when the charge posted to my bank, it was $499. I called him immediately and he apologized, saying he would bring a $100 bill and leave it under my front doormat. That didn't happen. I called him the next week and again a month later, both times he promised he would get a $100 refund to me. The refund has never materialize. He has stopped responding to me altogether. Shoddy work and 2 year warranty a SCAM. Owner Sean outsourced to Kelly, who poorly patched 3-4 squirrel entry points to our attic and charged $600 for nothing since the squirrel could still get in. Despite multiple calls and texts, it was impossible to schedule another time for them to come out. Took the money and ran. After seeing how poorly the repairs were done, I wouldn't want them working on our house ever again. DO NOT USE! Edit: There are SEVERAL companies and websites tied back to US Wildlife Removal. Started the job but never finished. I would've hired the guys that work for him without Sean as a middle man so 2 stars it is - they some of the work and did fine but disappeared without finishing the job. The company left white pellets (rat poison?), cig butts and at least 10 screws in random places of our property. Wouldn't respond to calls or texts or emails. Then when he did, lots of excuses why he didn't answer until a week+ later (in the meantime, just living with rats and bats nbd). Always hours or days late. Eventually stopped answering all together. Took $1800 of our money and ran. If you have to hire him, pay none up front as incentive for him to come back and finish the work. I can't emphasize this more - DO NOT PAY UP FRONT, NO MATTER WHAT SOB STORY HE TELLS YOU. Told us a long story about the company losing stars because of someone else and another about how they didn't have gas money to even get home. Asked for cash, guessing so he doesn't have to pay taxes. Do not expect a "guarantee" to be honored, there is in fact no guarantee. Said the rats would get the poison then would make their way out of the house to die - false, he didn't leave space for them to get out because I pulled a big packrat out through a ceiling light a week after (which should've been his job to take care of but again, he went AWOL). After they left and never returned to complete the job, we had to paint the huge amounts of white caulking he used under our cedar plank roof (part of fixing the bat problem but why not clear caulk?). He never finished the job so we had to finish it ourselves after paying him to do it. That probably wouldn't have happened if we didn't pay so much up front Irresponsible, slippery business guy ready to talk you into giving him your money. BEAWARE of this company! I found this company through Lynnwood Wildlife Removal (http://www.wildlife-removal.com/city/WA-Lynnwood.htm) for some wildlife in my attic. According to my description, the lady said it was either squirrel or raccoon, and told me about the price ($599 for squirrel and $699 for raccoon). On the day of service, one technician inspected the attic. He found no animal in the attic and concluded it was probably birds trying to get into attic (neither squirrel nor raccoon). He offered installing metal mesh on the attic's vent hole, $10 each. I agreed and they installed mesh for 25 holes total. When I was ready to pay, they gave me a paper with $250 plus additional $599 on it. I immediately told them that I was not informed of there was additional $599. One technician called their office and the guy over the phone started to yell at me using the F word, and threatened me he will ask the technician to take the meshes down. The technicians agreed that I was not informed of the total amount and didn't want the trouble. So they wrote down a final number on the paper with a phone number to pay. However, I didn't agree on that number. Then I found this company (US Wildlife Removal) was not the company I initially called (Lynnwood Wildlife Removal), so I called the original number to confirm. However, the lady said whatever the number I called, my call went to her number. I told the lady about my experience and she said she would have her husband (probably the owner) call me. However, 7pm in the night, another lady called me and asked me to pay. I stated my confusion again, told her there was some miscommunication on site and I would love to work on a price that both worked for us. She insisted I had to pay the additional $599 until I told her the technician gave me a different amount on the paper. I doubt if this company is properly licensed and permitted. Everything looks so unprofessional. I was not informed of the total price before they started to work on the job. I didn't have anything in written form except for the paper they gave me. One of the technician was an old men who barely walked steadily, which was very dangerous. The crews over the phone were very rude and they didn't think this was not appropriate -- I believe no clients are deserved to be yell at with F word!!! Another disgusting thing is one technician used my bathroom and left poop on my toilet cover. We had the team from US Wildlife Removal out yesterday to remove birds from our attic that had made it in through one of the sidewall vents. The birds were flushed out and they repaired TWO vents. I was not even aware the second one had been compromised. These guys did everything we asked of them; could not ask for more. Worked safe as well, even though we have a very high second floor they had to get above with an extension ladder. I would not hesitate to have them back in the future. read more

The owner of the company told me and my mom that he would charge us a base price of $400 for EVERYTHING, then said that he spent an extra $180 for supplies because he thought we had a rat problem as well and then charged my mom an extra $300. Now I know that would Be reasonable if he had actually GOTTEN THE SQUIRRELS AND "RATS" OUT but he didn't. All he did was cover the holes that were made a few days prior and cover the ones we had already covered ourselves. If I were you, I would just do it by yourself because you'll probably do it better. I used this company to clear out a bat infestation in a new home I moved into. The team came out and did a fantastic job in a timely manner. Mike and his crew were very professional and I feel it was money well spent, I would recommend this company to anyone that has a wild animal issue. Dealing with animals is unpredictable and it's not always the outcome planned, this company makes every effort to take care of the problem. I did read reviews before hiring this company and most of the reviews seem more like people want the animals to be 100% containable 100% of the time and that's just not practical. This would have been a five star review, but it's now a one. When we first called out Sean and the team, we had an otter nesting in our crawl space. Very bad smells if you've never dealt with it. Our first encounters with Sean and his team were amazing. They got the pregnant momma otter out safely. Then they replaced our vapor barrier and all insulation under the home. It was great and they were really great to work with. This work cost several thousand dollars and came with a two year guarantee. Well, one month later, we smell it again. We call Sean and he comes out and finds that the otter got back in and gave birth to two babies. Once again, they get all out safely. Then they schedule to come back and patch up the entry point and clean up the new mess. This is where the review becomes a one star. They never came back and Sean continues to duck my calls. What good is a two year guarantee if you won't come back and fix your work? True character reveals itself when adversity is applied. read more

Sean provided an initial quote over the phone that would include them cutting into our wall, cleaning out the area, and resealing the area. He did indicate that additional costs may be incurred depending on the size/scope of the issue once they came onsite. We ultimately did not have them complete any services, as we wanted to try to save money with DIY. However, they were helpful in explaining their process and considerations as we attempt to tackle the smell/rodent issue ourselves. read more

We had a sickening smell and a fly infestation in our basement. Us wildlife removal came out the next day, found the cause of the issue, removed it same week and sealed up entry points around the house. We have a pest management company that walked through and refused to cut into the wall to remove the cause of the smell. US Wildlife Removal have been a disaster. We hired them to remove and sanitize 2 bird nests and to properly screen all the eave vents. They did install screens where we could see them but only finished a little over half the entire job. After they left we discovered that many vents were left with old, improperly installed screens and at least one vent was left completely unscreened. When I went in the attic to install screens on the vents I could reach, I found that they had not done anything to the one nest I could see. I don't know if they removed the other nest but I doubt it. I then emailed Sean and he promised to personally come that week and fix it all. The next week we got the same promise. Now, a month later no one has ever shown up. I then asked for a prorated refund on the work left undone and have gotten no response at all. Basically they have scammed us out of over $700. They do have multiple web sites and phone numbers so be sure you're not dealing with them without knowing it. read more

I searched GOOGLE and read all the good reviews online, and found out after they handed me their business cards, that they have the same name with another US Wildlife (don't know how in the world I got them instead of the US Wildlife Removal Service). Immediately search them up which these people are scams; they have so much bad rating. Totally regretting. I had birds problems, they told me that they had sprayed pepper around my house and will guarantee it for 3 years, when I was looking at them, never saw they sprayed anything at all.... But they told me that I was accusing them for not doing their job when they did. Guess what, after 3 days the birds kept coming back. Had left messages and texts, their voicemail box is always full. Terrible experience. Their team came out to set up raccoon traps for a single raccoon that had been frequenting my yard. The raccoon ate all of the marshmallows out of every trap without engaging the plate mechanisms. Upon investigation, the trap hooking mechanisms on all of the traps were set in a manner that required way too much force to actually engage with the weight of a raccoon. I had to press on the plate extremely hard to get them to close. One of the traps in particular was rusted and had no chance of closing on a raccoon. For an insane $499, this was a complete waste of a time and money, you are better off trapping the animal yourself and having someone else come pick it up. I called asking for a refund due to the trap failures and they were extremely defensive, stating they don't do refunds. Overall a very terrible experience, stay away from this company. read more

They told me gray squirrels, and they were unsuccessful with this. Then they told me red squirrels. I researched red squirrels and called US Dept. of Wildlife. Red squirrels don't live here in Western WA. They were quick to take my money, but never finished the job. They made some rinky dink homemade cages that other pest control companies looked at, and laughed at. Their company has so many different names and no email address. When I asked Sean if I could email, instead of text, he flew into a rage. Sean has a frightening anger issue. He will throw tantrums and threaten to cancel your "so-called" warranty. A former friend of his, whom I spoke to, told me Sean cheats everybody he ever comes into contact with, including that former friend. This company is the flakiest company I have ever hired. We paid him $6000 to remove and prevent bats in our attic. It was supposed to be warranted for 2 years. A year and a half later we had 3 bats Inside our fireplace that came down from the attic. We tried and tried to get him to come back out under warranty and he would never answer the phone or text. When he finally did answer he never showed up every time he said he would. Finally after our warranty was up (8 months) he came down and said our warranty was up. We said we have called you numerous times before it was up. He then proceeds to seal the house and when he's done he says it's going to be $1000 for the 2 hours. We said it's under warranty and he says the house settles it's not under warranty. We finally ended up settling on $500 when it should not have been anything. He said he would be back in the fall to take the tubes off he installed so the bats would go out the roof but can't get back in and reseal where he installed them. Now he won't come back and take them off. When he left, he left the attic door open and in the middle of the night a bat came flying into our bedroom. What a piece of --------. He showed up one time drunk and slept it off in his truck while the other guy worked and the other time he cracked a wine cooler as soon as he was done. We are contacting the better business bureau. Do not hire this company. He is the biggest con artist. My husband just got off the phone again trying to get him to take the tubes off and he just laughed out loud and hung up on him. read more

UPDATE: It got somewhat cooler and I went up in the attic to check the traps after buying some bait refill. Totally untouched, all of them and not a hint of rat droppings anywhere. Which means either (A) no rats or (B) the bait was ineffective. I'm thinking there weren't rats and Sean was wildly guessing. My current theory is that the birds hanging out on the roof and the gutter lines and walking around were echoing through the roof, making the noises I heard. Means I effectively wasted over $400 on traps I didn't need, and US Animal Control didn't do due diligence. Lesson Learned. Stay away. read more

Do not use this company! Everything started off okay. I called regarding a foul smell coming from under our house. I left a message and Sean Butler, the owner, called back right away. He seemed friendly, concerned and said his work was guaranteed, so made an appointment for two days later when it was convenient for both of us. The day of the appointment, the two workers called because they were running late. They had an emergency come up and would be to my house later in the day. That was okay... emergencies arise sometimes. When they did arrive, there were two workers. One guy did all of the work of removing a dead rat and disinfecting the area in the crawl space while the other chatted with me about our rodent problem. He said our crawl space was very clean until you pulled back the insulation and then there were rat droppings. They said that they didn't have any rat bait stations with them, but they sprinkled rat poison squares around the area. They gave me one quote, but then charged me more for the bait stations that they would bring the following week with bait. They would only take a check, not credit card. They did not give me a receipt or a written confirmation of the guarantee. They did not return with the bait stations, so I called again. They told me they would be out at the end of the week. Once again, they did not return. I called again and left messages for the person who came to the house, but did not get return calls. I called again a few days later, still no return call. Then I called the owner. He promised me they would be back with the bait stations. Again, no one came. Now when I call the company, no one answers my calls and no one returns my messages. I called them first and they were the first to get back to me, so although I suspected they were commuting from Spanaway or Tacoma up north to Edmonds I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Ended up spending $498 for a guy to go into our crawl space, tell us we did not have brown squirrels or mountain beavers (both of which we have seen in our yard) but had rats and showed me some dropping, then proceeded to throw rat bait into the crawl space. He didn't know if the rat bait would harm the brown squirrels--I didn't want to hurt the native wild life. He said to call back in 10 days (that was 2 weeks ago) and they will drive back out to put bait boxes around the house. Which I don't think I want, I'm just not comfortable with that kind of poison out in the open. Still waiting to hear back from them and I don't think I will. Another company I spoke with would have given us a more complete assessment and showed us where the rats were getting in so we could fix it--if not fix it themselves. We can't tell if US Animal Control fixed the problem or not but will but down cage traps to make sure. read more

Sean and his partner just finished raccoon removal from our attic and successfully got the mom out and 3 babies. We were specific that they were raccoons because we have seen the mom and heard the babies in the attic so it was not difficult to find them. I did worry about Sean because our metal roof was slippery for him and he was having a hard time getting traction to put the wire screen for covering the access point. He has a back issue. When I made the appointment 2 days before the original schedule, he didn't show up. When I called him he said he had it for Thursday and not Wednesday. So we rescheduled and he was on time. So I'm ok with the work done. I was also told that they are not allowed to take the raccoons out of our property and would be more complicated and expensive to do so. So the box of babies were left in the yard and the mom raccoon will presumably be back to retrieve the babies. He did tell me they will come back if the mom doesn't retrieve the babies. read more

Others quoted an initial fee and then a hourly rate, without a guarantee that they would resolve the problem. Sean said he would take a flat fee and "work until the job is done". He and his employee arrived ahead of schedule and went right to work. They got right into the fireplace and with some serious contortions were able to retrieve a very ripe squirrel carcass. They cleaned the area, disposed of the carcass, and wrapped the opening of the chimney so we would not have that problem again. Sean even called us later to thank us for the business and make sure we were satisfied. read more
