Called US Turf on Tuesday wanting to get an estimate done later in the week or next week. Spoke with Amanda and was told I was set up for yesterday Thursday morning 3/19 at 10:00 AM. Got a text to confirm that morning. Confirmed. It's almost noon Friday as of this posting 0 communication. I literally woke up "early" as my shift runs in the evening/night time and they didn't show up. Supposedly a 10A-2P window and didn't receive a text or call update. Was on the hook that whole. Leaves a really a bad impression. Will consider others now with the first being Bully Turf to see if they're more professional. read more

They came out promptly, addressed all of the issues, and completed the work as promised. I appreciate that they made it clear they wanted to remedy the situation. Misunderstandings and problems can happen with any project; what matters most is how a company handles them. US Turf did step up and make things right. I would suggest implementing a better communication process--especially before sending a final invoice--to help prevent similar misunderstandings for future customers. I can't say whether the response was prompted by my public reviews or simply an unusual lapse in communication, but once we connected, the experience was positive. We never want to leave a negative review for a local small business, and I'm glad the situation was resolved. I would recommend US Turf for sure, I got 5 quotes from different companies and they have the lowest quote but had the highest quality turf, and they gave me more for less. The other companies ranged from $23,000 more to $10,000 more and their turf was lower quality, they didn't have the length and height of the planter bed, those quotes also had a lot of rock to try and cut costs. Overall this quality and quantity I got from US Turf far exceeded all the other companies. They did everything I asked and some! Only critique is their communication could use a little work but nothing that would be a deal breaker. Crew was professional and showed up on time everyday. Great crew of 3 men. Very respectful and got the job done in 2 days. I followed and asked lots of questions. The lead guy was kind to answer all my questions about what is being done and why? Great experience working with this turf company from start to finish. I reached out on behalf of my parents, who recently moved to Las Vegas and were looking for someone reliable and talented for a full backyard makeover. I would like to share my experience with US TURF. I chose them to do our backyard for my new home. I would say during the estimate there was a bunch of back and forth and I was left un answered a couple times but it was a process. After when I had Kevin and his team doing our backyard. The workers and Kevin did EXACTLY what I asked for and did such an amazing job on my backyard. Even when I had a concern or issue Kevin and the team immediately listen and helped out with what I wanted or any minor details. I couldn't have been more satisfied. They also finished extremely quickly 3 days total. I did have an issue with water leaking onto my neighbors yard and it took almost two months for it to be resolved to the point where HOA was getting involved but they still resolved the manner. Communication was great after our estimate, probably because they wanted our business. Installers arrived the first day, well I should say one of them. Originally said it would be completed in 2-3 days. The 2nd day of installation one of the workers quit so it took a total of 4 days. Our original order had some pavers, white g we were told would arrive before the 3rd day. Needless to say, the pavers were never ordered so they were not installed by the 4th day. On a Sunday,, the installer told us he would be there to finish the job. He never showed up and didn't inform us he wouldn't be coming. This is very bad business practices. We were very upset and disappointed We had to call the business several times for an update for the pavers. since no one was reaching out to us. About a week after completion, an installer randomly showed up at our house without any notice. We have an aggressive dog that needs to be locked inside and a phone call from the business to inform us someone was going to come that day to install the pavers would have been respectful and good business practice. Martin sales person and the Turf team did a great and thorough job on our front lawn turf. they came early every day and completed the job in about 3 1/2 days. They cleaned up after themselves homeowners approved everything SNWA approved it city of Henderson and approved it. All rebates will be coming back. Even though there were some things they needed to change after they left to cut roots away from tree, etc., and redo they did it in a timely way and a very thorough way.. We got several quotes from other Turf companies. We ending up choosing US Turf-we loved the reviews and trusted them. The guys who came out to install our turf and pavers were awesome. They were so meticulous. We thought, after they left, we had a problem with the turf-there was a small line going down the middle. Found out it was just the way it had been rolled prior to installing. It's even almost disappeared now. The owner even took the time to come out to our house to inspect it. We're done with this company. Don't want anything from them at this point and won't be needing anything from them again. Their turf installed in our backyard is degrading and burning in numerous areas nowhere near any reflective items and they refuse to accept responsibility for it. The worst is near a fence and originally we accepted that it was our problem but after their project manager came out and pointed out other areas burning, it became obvious to us this turf is of poor quality. After looking up images of burnt turf, we couldn't find any that resembled what ours is doing. This includes a picture left in a review for this company. We never communicated this to them, because it become obvious they just don't care about our situation. We've looked all throughout this valley trying to find areas of turf that are burnt and can't seem to find any. After reading through other reviews, it's very obvious the games this company plays. They definitely try to turn it on their customers once you voice your opinion publicly. The initial installs in our backyard left us cleaning up a lot on our own. So we hit a rough patch there. However, Remington and the company resolved it and we're very happy with the final results. I think our experience underlines the importance of looking into a company. I just LOVE this company!  We had purchased a new build and for a year could not decide what to do with the backyard.  We had multiple quotes and still could not make a decision.  We called US Turf out again for a second quote because they were who we liked the best.  I worked with Gage to design it.  He was helpful, had great ideas and was very responsive and kind.  The day they started a seven man crew arrived and started right away.  The guys working were awesome!  I cannot say enough good things about Leo and his team.  They were professional, friendly, worked so hard and always cleaned up at the end of everyday.  Our neighbors even commented on their professionalism.  There were a few minor unforeseen things popup which no one could control but Leo always had a solution with options for me.    Keven the project manager was also great and has continued to impress us.  He arrived and introduced himself and assured me everything would be taken care of.  He meant it.  He stayed in contact with me even after the project was complete to make sure everything was perfect.  He was also very professional, easy to communicate with and cares that you're happy with their services.  Salvador the chauffer and Alex from the maintenance crew were also really nice and helpful. They had a chance to get a good review but blew that out of the water by lying, making threats and trying to intimidate us into paying for a job that was not done as promised. The owner Dorico is an EXTREMELY unprofessional jerk and should expect to have a complaint filed with the BBB if he doesn't remedy our situation ASAP. When I'm spending in excess of $15,000 on a project, I expect to be treated like my satisfaction matters. Additionally, we were doing a second job at my in-law's house and the quality was awful (pavers not lined up properly; turf not properly finished, etc.). The entire time we were doing this project, a project that was supposed to take a week and which is now on month 3 and still not completed to our satisfaction, we had to babysit their workers constantly. The crew worked extremely hard and were responsible but because of the poor management we needed to check every single thing. If we didn't review everything, nothing would be done right. They also did not cover our sport court and got a ton of sand under the tiles, requiring a cleaning after we had warned them to cover the court. It's never a good sign when you start to consider hiring an attorney when dealing with a contractor...but here I am looking at that very situation. read more

I was hoping for better specially from this company. The work was looking great until they decided to change some stuff without my consent. Pavers were moved and unprofessionally placed grass was cut even shorter and the cement work was poorly done. I spoke to a project manager who agreed with the work done, he stated he would be in charge of fixing everything for us. Two weeks later nothing has been done at our home, I called the company just to find out that employee hasn't shown up to work in the last 2 weeks. I have worked with US Turf on two separate occasions, and have had nothing but excellent work each time! Roughly one year ago I hired them to do by new home build backyard, including turf, landscaping, pavers, and a patio cover. I loved what they did so much, they were my first choice when I decided this month to put in a paver path from my driveway, through the side gate, and connecting to the backyard pavers. They listened to what I wanted each time, and made the vision happen. The quality of their work is top notch - one year later and no issues, and I'm sure I'll be able to say the same for this latest job. I've worked with Jarrett (one year ago) and most recently Ami as my lead project coordinators, and I have to say, both of their communication skills are TERRIFIC. They are pleasant to talk to, easily reachable, and respond expediently to any and all my questions, clarifications, ans design changes! They worked with me to get my project into their calendars as soon as possible, and kept me informed the whole way. I appreciated their patience and diligence so much. This latest project in particular, they were supposed to be completed on a certain day, and when they weren't done yet, Ami kept in close contact with me, letting me know each step of the way which crew was coming, when they would be expected to be done, etc. I even saw Ami pop up on my home security cameras a few times to double-check their work - I appreciate the quality assurance checks! Work done was just ok. Lots of gaps in between pavers where sand wasn't brushed into because workers were in a rush to finish. A few spots that seem a bit emptier than others for the new rock. Workers threw away so much extra new rock that we paid for and should have just been put in the backyard. The rock removal from the original landscaping was done in a lazy fashion and not 100% removed. This was brought up to the company and wasn't fully resolved before new rock was dumped. The estimator didn't leave full notes about removing existing 2x2 fire pit from previous owner leading to multiple calls to get resolved. They failed to move the irrigation line back to outside of the backyard gate even though there were multiple conversations and text messages with the estimator to include this. There was never a call back when promised, no communication on when work was to start and when workers would show up. I had to call them at least 15 times for a job that should have been 2 - 2.5 full days. Workers showed up extremely late first two days, then walked into my backyard on Saturday without warning to grab some of their tools they had left behind and just never showed up again. This lead to more calls and the company having to send out another crew to finish the job. Company over ordered pavers and have left an entire pallet of pavers in front of our house for 4 days now after work has been completed, I've already called them about so they're aware but don't care since they've already got my money. Still charged full price even though that entire pallet wasn't used and the 2nd crew throwing away the previously mentioned new rock instead of bringing it into the yard. The price was very competitive but you get what you pay for. I assumed they would put a weed barrier under the new rock because every other company we got quotes from included that, but US Turf skipped out on that which partly explains the good price. I can't recommend US Turf to anyone because they aren't worth the headache and hassle of trying to get any information from them, the horrible lack of communication, waste of materials, the rushed work, and work not fully completed as discussed with estimator because they didn't leave clear notes. read more

I would highly discourage anyone who is doing research and debating a landscaper to not go with US Turf. From start to "finish" it was a disaster. When I received my proposal, there was no communication or directions with next step. I signed the proposal and later received an automated email for my first payment. I paid the invoice and the sales rep did not even reach out to say that they received the payment or when our backyard project would start. I had to follow up on this. Whenever I would text him questions, majority of the time I would wait 24 hours and then have to respond again saying that I was following up. I was so fed up that I asked to speak with the sales reps manager and he said absolutely and that he would get me his managers contact the following day... guess what, I never received his contact info. I asked the first sales rep that I was speaking with (this guy was actually good at communication) for the contact info and the sales manager called me. The sales manager sounded genuine and apologized for my experience. He said that he would talk to the rep and everything would be ok and that this "must have been a one off because they have 5 star reviews". When it came time to actually starting the project, I was told at 9am that the team would be at my house soon, at the latest 12. Umm I wouldn't consider 3 hours later as soon.... No one came until 1:25pm with no communication that they were running late. While working on the project, I noticed that I did not see a drain pipe installed and pavers had already been laid down. I went outside to ask about this, and the worker did not understand what I was talking about. I immediately shot the sales manager a text because a drain pipe was in my bid and was a non-negotiable. It was later on a Friday but I didn't know what to do since the crew didn't really speak English. Guess what, he never got back to me... At the end of the day, they were not able to complete the project due to arriving late. However, the head of the crew working on project texted me the next morning letting me know that they were coming. I asked her about the drain pipe and she claimed that "they didn't have enough pipe" the first day. By not enough, they meant none because I watched them tear out the pavers that were installed the first day so that they could install the drain pipe. When the team left after completion, I noticed gaps with missing pavers and overall huge gaps between a lot of the pavers. They also empty water bottles and clementine skin in my backyard. I have a very small backyard, but apparently their turf sheets were not wide enough so they had to lay 2 side by side. I was told I did not have to worry and that you would never be able to see the seam. Well, the seam was and still is extremely noticeable. There were also huge sand bumps in the turf. It was very uneven overall. I contacted the sales rep and he never responded (to this day never responded) so I contacted the sales manager and he had the team come back out and fix my concerns. The head of the crew was very nice and ensured me that the seam is still settling and will soon not be visible but to ensure this happens, they would come back in 2 weeks to fluff the turf again. I also noticed that many nails were not flush in the turf and had to nail them down myself. I told the sales manager that I still felt like the project was incomplete. There were still gaps in pavers which could potentially just be too much sand since they do not use hard sand. I am also not a pavers expert but when I did research, I thought it was best to use polymeric sand to ensure no gaps between pavers (gaps were big enough that someone could break their ankle if they were wearing high heels) and the manager told me no one should ever use polymeric sand and that the sand would eventually go away and that I would have to maintain filling it since it was regular sand. The seam was also still visible and I told the sales manager that I was wasn't very comfortable paying the remaining money due. I was scared that once I paid it, they would vanish off the face of the earth. The sales manager ensured me that I still had a warranty and stated that I needed to paid the remainder balance. I paid it and guess what, the person who told me they were going to come back after 2 weeks never came back and now it has been 2 months. Terrible terrible customer service and quality of work. I highly encourage going with someone else instead. Overall, even though the employee charging their phone in my outlet is minor, it frustrated me because of everything else going on. I am probably missing some stuff that occurred as this was from 2 months ago, but I've finally had the time to write this review. Latest update: there are still gaps in the pavers, but I think it looks better than it does in these pictures now. I still wouldn't recommend due to the terrible communication. read more

We had a semi-inground swim spa removed from our backyard and it left an 8' X 14', 3 feet deep hole in our yard. We hired US Turf to fill in the hole and then cover the entire area with new turf. We also had them replace some adjacent turf so everything would match. We also had to have some patio pavers installed where the edge of the spa was. US Turf was very professional and responsive. Pricing was more than fair and they did excellent work. A drip sprinkler line was accidentally punctured during the installation which we discovered the next day and they sent out a couple of guys the same afternoon to make the repair at no charge.
