We had to resurface our pool deck along with expanding the footprint, installed pavers to the courtyard and added turf to the front yard. We purchased our own plants but they dug all holes, planted and did all new drip systems. Kevin was incredibly helpful in that I had done AI designs of what I wanted and he created the plan to make it happen. Cheers to the amazing hard workers who endured terrible hot heat but continued to work with a smile. We offered water and food as I believe in taking care of those who help you. Plus they appreciated it. Lester was the supervisor of the team and got the job done. My only suggestion is for corp/management- Create a position Concierge liaison- a Individual who communicates to the home owners on all job sites in the morning by text of when to expect the crew and what part of the project is going to be worked on. My project is designed by Taro, a Japanese guy, who shares the same Asian culture with me and understand my needs very well. Also, their field work team, Ken, is fast! This is our second pool built by Vintage and the construction and quality of the work is superb…read more Gary, the owner, uses only the best sub contractors. Every contractor that came into our yard was knowledgeable, hardworking, and polite. They were available to answer any questions and made sure they cleaned up before they left. We were told that the pool would be completed in 120 days and it was, even with delays because of weather. Once construction started we dealt with Teri, the scheduling manager, and Jon the supervisor who oversaw the construction of the pool and kept us informed of the process from start to finish. Teri is a gem; she schedules all the workers and lets you know when they will be in your yard. She is there to answer any and all questions. Jon is the person that makes everything work. He comes after each step of the pool construction is done and frequently visits to make sure you are up to speed on the process. His job does not end once the pool is complete he continues to visit and make sure you understand the operation and your responsibility as a pool owner. Jon explains everything in detail. A word of caution, whether you use Vintage or another company, make sure before signing the contract that in the plan design that all inspection codes are met or will need to meet in order to pass final inspection. You will then know if you will have additional financial responsibility. Finally as a pool buyer please understand that all the pool builders in the valley are using the same contractors so delays because of weather etc, are inevitable. Be patient. Gary, Teri,and Jon do their best to make sure everything is done in a timely fashion. If you want a great pool at a reasonable price, quality construction, and people who care about you as a client you can not go wrong with Vintage, a class operation.

I also felt that the contract and what was included in the project were not explained as clearly as they should have been. As the project progressed, I was told that certain items I believed were included were not, which created confusion and frustration. I believe a company should be transparent and clearly explain the scope of work, timeline, and any limitations before asking customers to make substantial payments. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Overall, I was disappointed with the communication, organization, and transparency throughout the process. Based on my experience, I would not choose this company again or recommend it to others.

I have been documenting this time, if I see more of it, I will end up posting the videos that I…read morehave been taking of the "landscapers" slowly wandering around my cul de sac on Cimarron, grabbing a palm full of weeds to look busy, inspecting random rocks and throwing them, but mostly, standing around. They hang out on their phones, and only look "busy" when someone physically comes outside. I have tested this theory. I watch them from my cameras & windows, then I will step outside. When I am not outside, they are wandering around, leaf blowing dirt on the ground at best, but when I come outside, they either leave my cul de sac altogether, or they start moving around to look busy. when they leave my neighborhood, most of the weeds that have been there the entire Spring & Summer are still there, at best, they may chop a dead part off of a tree, and they won't even shape it. Just cut it awkwardly, and leave it there. I do not understand why they are here, but I do not want them here for sure. I am on the edge of complaining to the HOA and sending my receipts.
