After emailing, calling, and leaving several messages for Tim to come down and see if he could check some things out because all of the plants weren't being watered from the water system that his team installed. We also wanted to see how much an estimate would be to get some new turf installed since we were still having problems with some of the old turf melting........we heard absolutely nothing, not even an email saying that he was busy or even a courtesy call. I guess when Tim gets the money he could give a sh** about what your backyard looks like afterwards. To say we love our backyard is an understatement!! We were in the middle of our new construction build which still had several months to completion. After contacting the owner Tim, he immediately helped us set up a consultation. We had a sketch drawn out with dimensions so that we could ensure we got what we had envisioned. After receiving quotes from 6 companies, we decided to go with Landscape Creations. I was not the easiest of customers to begin with, but Daryl is 100% professional and amazing!! I was very particular about the pavers used on our retaining wall. I wanted something modern, but not outrageously expensive. I scoured the internet looking for pavers in our price range that fit our style. Daryl was able to give us estimates. We decided to go with a modern gray style Belgard paver. We ended up getting a 2 ft retaining wall with Belgard gray pavers, low maintenance Italian Cypress trees & shrubs, 10x11 raised concrete patio, 3 large concrete pavers, river rock, white stained concrete with high gloss sealer, and Pro 84 artificial turf. Daryl was our point of contact throughout the landscaping. We appreciated that he not only emailed us to give us updates, but also texted us during the day. He replied to us promptly and never once left us hanging. We appreciated that a lot since we had read so many awful stories of experiences people had with other companies. 100% would recommend this company to others! read more

I first messaged Scott in May 2021. He was responsive and came to assess our yard relatively quickly. We had a variety of ideas and he provided quotes and proposals for all of those ideas. We chose what worked for our budget and moved forward with his drawings for HOA approval. There was a little back and forth but 3 months later, it's done and we are very happy with the results. We recently hired Scott and his team to build out a paver patio and walkway for us, as well as some rock groundcover for the remaining yard. We had actually begun the quote process over a year ago, but had to put the project on hold. Landscape Creations was the first crew we reached out to for a quote and consultation. Scott was very helpful with any questions and suggestions we had during the consultation. Afterwards, we reached out to at least five other companies for quotes, and Landscape Creations had the best quote. When we were ready to start back up, we were happy to hear that they would honor the old quote (with some cost of material adjustments, which we expected). The job itself went great and we are very happy with the results. There was only one snag, which Scott was very transparent about and his team resolved very quickly. We hired Landscape Creations early last year to convert our small front yard. After seeing the results & working with Scott Gilmore, we hired them for a much larger conversion of our backyard. We had 3,000sf of turf to remove but had no idea of what to do with the space afterwards. Scott made notes of our thoughts & returned with a proposal that accomplished all of our goals. We did not want to rip out our existing bushes & plants but wanted to merge them with the new area. We struggled with how to do that without it looking like a yard that was half old & half new. We also wanted to make the space more usable. In the end we added a beautiful seating area off the pool that is in synch with our existing patio & extended the planter area by adding plants that pulled the two areas together. Again, we're extremely pleased with the result! It took us a long time to reach this point since we were just lost as to how to proceed but now wish we had found Scott sooner. We used Landscape Creations for our front/back yard project, which included adding a large covered patio, replacing turf, building a planter across the entire back wall, replacing all the plants, irrigation, and rock, adding paver steps to the front, and front/back yard lighting. Scott helped us to design and lay out our space in ways that worked both practically and aesthetically. We had general ideas of what we wanted but leaned on him for design suggestions, which all ultimately led to great touches in our yard. Response times to get the job started were very slow but everyone was very nice. The price was average based on the bids we got from other companies. We choose them because I felt most comfortable with the sales person. Unfortunately their work is not good. The people that came struggled to communicate and didn't understand when we tried to talk to them. They poured concrete crooked and uneven. The gates were then screwed into the bad concrete so they are crooked and uneven. They tried to tell us that the fence, that wasn't properly tightened because it only had 2 screws instead of 4, was fine and didn't need to be corrected. They finally "fix" the one side of the fence. The whole project looks like a DIY job done by someone that has never done that work before. I hired someone to do it so it would be better than what I could do myself. read more

I had nothing but a small dirt 25x40 foot backyard. I had some idea of what I wanted but no idea on the design, materials, or look. Scott was the first person who came out to look at my yard and give me a quote. He created an amazing design and had 3D renderings to me with an itemized invoice in a couple days. I hired this company last year to handle my backyard and paid $12,480 for what was supposed to be top-notch work. Despite making over 8 attempts to get someone out to address the multiple issues, I now find that your number just redirects to a Creative Outdoor Design voicemail. This number (702-610-4889) used to go to Landscape Creations, according to my contract, which makes this whole situation look like a scam. BEWARE!! read more

It started great, but has gone significantly downhill. When they came over gave me a bid, drew up the plans and all was well. The installation was quick and everything was done well. However, after a few weeks we noticed that the grass wasn't doing so great. There were a few patchy areas where the grass seemed to be dying. I called the office and had them come out several times for various issues 1. The lining they put up against the back wall was not installed properly and continues to this day to leak. 2. The same lining was leaking onto our neighbors side. 3. The patchy areas which are now dead. As I continue to have issues, they have now stopped responding to me. Last time they came they said it would be good to go in a few weeks, pictures clearly indicate otherwise. They replaced those patches with new sod which has since completely died. I write this review because after several opportunities to have them fix this, they longer seem to care to remedy or even return my calls. read more

Scott came out and was so hands on and detail oriented from start to finish! The guys that did the work were on time, polite, and left our yard in pristine condition when they left. Over all time to completion was under five weeks( had to wait for concrete to dry). There was some touch ups that need to be done and they were done with no complaints. Cost 4/5. After numerous attempts in searching for a company who built ponds, I was fortunate enough to get in touch with Tim! I'm sure I'm not alone but others were either priced unreasonably high for the modest project or they were just flat out unresponsive to even get a finalized quote over. Tim was extremely upfront, knowledgeable, and confident for well deserved reasons. Pond building isn't easy as we discovered from our previous leaky pond which is what we were having relocated and redone so even though Tims crew encountered a mishap, they quickly and professionally resolved it. I'd like to also point out the creativity in the custom piping Tim came up with himself to accommodate the much needed pump and filtration which a turtle pond absolutely needs (behind the decorative wall) which gave the front a beautiful touch. I can't recommend this company enough after dealing with so many unreliable and unreasonable alternatives which seem to be the norm these days. read more

We got three quotes before we chose LV Yard Doctor and we are so happy we did. Our yard turned out better than we anticipated!.. Tim & his crew have exceeded our expectations in timeliness, quality, and customer service. Our entire backyard was transformed in 10 days less the days when they had to cut the day short due to the hail and rain we experienced for two days, so really they took only 8 days to lay and stamp the concrete, put up our patio cover, and then do all the landscaping. We have a camera in our backyard so we occasionally checked on the progress while we were at work and we must say, they have great attention to detail and truly took pride in their work. Landscape Creations did good work on my backyard but for the amount I paid which was around 12,000$ total they did a very poor job on the front yard. I asked to have a bed of river rock up to the tree in my front yard in the shape of a river and to have some flowers but instead they removed all the rock and put river rock to where my tree is in my front yard but didn't do any nice transition of the new rock into my original rock. I sent an email to Daryl about my unhappiness with the end product but got no response. I would have paid extra for additional river rock for the entirety of my front yard to make it look prettier and to also have my original plants get a drip line too. Communication is just inconsistent and things that could have been a phone call or text message were sent in email. Granted I do work night shift and sometimes my response isn't always stellar because I'm sleeping during the day to go to work at night but still. Overall just not impressed and unhappy. Wouldn't recommend, spend your money elsewhere. read more
