PS Courier&Delivery Service LLC I will not even give them…read moreone star because I find this company very unreliable reason being is because, We bought a bedroom set from Marlo's furniture store in Waldorf Maryland where we live, we were given this company's business card to call to set up delivery because they deliver for their store , Well I called and spoke to Mr. Pete the owner / operator , wow this became a nightmare. Long story short he dose not keep his word and forgets conversations that have been discussed about your delivery, He just really seemed as though he didn't want to deliver our furniture so finally after a couple days we pin pointed a date I assume he put us on his schedule for that day ,but somehow he didn't have a schedule or he just conveniently forgot . My husband and I took off from work for this delivery day but no delivery. So we are really frustrated at this point. Went back to the store told them what happened and now we have to hire our own moving company to get our furniture home because at this point we don't want to deal with him anymore .Thank God we were able to find a honest and accountable business to help which is so important have peace of mind knowing that when a business gives you their word you can rest assured knowing they will do what they say !! Let me share my experience and the price I was charged. I contacted this company (based on the reviews) several weeks before the removal job was scheduled to be done. I needed to meet a deadline with having the home cleared. I spoke with Julius. I explained that I needed removal services and that I had several high quality furniture items still in the home. I was concerned about how expensive it may be to remove a sectional, large entertainment center, clear the garage and basement and two rooms upstairs. I explained that I would try to give the heavy items away, as I had already used movers a month earlier to relocate my things to my home at the national harbor. Julius ensured me that even if the items weren't given away, that the price would be fair. He said, constantly that " I"ll give you a fair price. I'm not trying to rip you off. You don't have to worry about that". ( side note: as a therapist, the one thing I can assure you is if any person you're doing business with constantly says this, you're about to get ripped off). Anyway, we set a date and he agreed to bring "his team" and clear the home. We met on this past Sunday. He came to the home with one other guy. I gave him a walk through. I explained that I sold the heavy furniture and that the movers for the buyers would be at the home as well. When Julius got to my home, the buyers movers were taking a load to her home and coming back for a second load. Their large truck was packed to the max ( I'll explain why this is relevant later). Anyway, after doing the walk through, I was certain that Julius and his partner were ready to clear my home. When speaking with them about pricing on the phone, Julius hold me that a full load was $625. I agreed. Julius informed me that they would start by moving the two bedroom sets first which consisted of one kiddie bed and short dresser and a queen bed and one dresser. They also moved a small dresser from My daughters room and a short dresser from my room. Several pieces to the beds were left upstairs as well as the railings to the beds. They also placed bed railings in the garage. Once they loaded the few items on the truck, Julius came to me and said he had other appts and had to come back tomorrow to do the rest. Wait..WHAT? I was speechless. He said he had 3 other jobs scheduled. I asked him how that was possible when I scheduled with him weeks ago. He stuttered and gave me no real reason besides saying he didn't want to miss out on the money. I was speechless. He then told me that he could bring a dumpster back tomorrow and that the base price was $500. He said that's minus the labor and time. I was so confused because I only wanted him to take the beds, large military trunks and lawn equipment. He tried to persuade me to let them do a full cleaning of the home that would have cost me over $2000 according to their pricing. I was disappointed and hurt because as a single mom I didn't want to feel cheated but that's exactly what was happening. Things only got worse. I went outside to look at the truck and their was so much space left on the trailer. I asked if he could please take the military trunks and lawn mowers. He declined, stating that he had other appts. He then told me that it was $360 for the beds that he moved. I was in total shock and angry. I let them follow me to the atm and paid them. I vowed to never use them again. It just so happened that the buyer asked her moving guys if they could help me. They were two Jamaican guys who were fast and awesome. They agreed to clear the entire home for me, including the garage for $150!! I paid them extra because my three level home was clear and cleaned by them in 3 hours!!!! They didn't even break a sweat!! They packed their truck to the max, cleaned my floors, the garage floor, the basement floor. I had never seen anything like it. I WILL CONTINUE TO INFORM PEOPLE ABOUT THIS SOLOMON MILBURN Solomon M, owner of MDT Towing, approached me when he saw me &my children at a storage unit where he was dropping off a guy's stuff. Solomon refers to his customer who was moving in that day as the "st!inky African guy." I was worried bc I had never used a moving company before due to concerns and fear about people knowing where I live, scoping out my house, & then the obvious which is property damage, and other horror stories I had heard. All of these things I expressed to him & he assured me my stuff would be tied down and that they been in the business for 12 years. Let me add STUFF IS MISSING & broken. I spoke w/ him on 10/15, the day of my settlement, between 8am and 9am, and inquired whether it was too late to get movers. He said no, we'll be at the storage unit at 2 p.m. Now, I'm big on supporting black owned businesses and Solomon and his team showed me more and more why it was a horrible idea. I will never ever! I asked him if he was sure since if so, we could move the timing if necessary to 4. He claimed the timing was great and that I need to pay $40 for holding fee. I had him on speaker phone, and my realtor, title firm, and daughter were all listening. I have pictures of when the invoice was paid and when I notified him that it was paid. I asked him again about the pricing and whether it will alter due to the last minute, and he answered no. He added, "Better yet, I'll give you a discount of $550, with the $40 included." When he first spoke with me a few weeks ago, he quoted $525 and claimed he would give me a discount. At 2 p.m., myself, my kid, & my closest friend were waiting for the movers to come. I sent him a call/text about their location, and he said they'd be late around 45 minutes after I sat there since 2pm. The truck arrived late, as did Solomon, and the movers (2 guys) did not show up until 4. During our 1st talk, I expressed my concerns about movers & asked Solomon if he did background checks while being concerned about theft. He chuckled. I contacted him after 1 1/2 hours of waiting; at this point, he is waiting w/us for his contracted movers after Solomon also showed up late. I told him I had to leave at 4 p.m. since the guys wasn't there to pick up my son & return the Verizon box to kill time. I was only able to pick up my son, never to deliver box back and the movers arrived minutes later. During that time, Solomon asked me could I run him about 7-10 mins up the street to his truck. Again, this is my time wasted 2 hours yet he needed a ride. I should have charged him for gas. Then he gets in the car asking personal questions after noticing my government laptop and card. He then started asking where I'm from and all other questions he shouldn't have asked. Also, sharing w/myself and my BF about how the African he helped got money, etc. He knew too much personal stuff about his clients that he shouldn't have known. During the transfer of my belongings, they had no tarp, straps, or anything to secure my belongings, as he stated--TV, dressers, nothing. My best friend and I did the majority of their labor running up and down the steps. The guy upstairs was throwing my stuff everywhere. Solomon stayed downstairs on his cellphone. We left the storage unit after 530pm-6pm, and just 10 minutes later pulling out of the storage unit, Solomon called to say they needed to stop for 15 minutes to eat. They ate after arriving two hours late. They stopped at WAWA parked near the side and back of the building. We waited 25-30 mins at my house bc they had the bulk of our things. The 2 guys brought items in, we realized that my big screen TV had been severely damaged. Solomon addressed me as ma'am before stating that they worked for more than four hours and that he will not charge me $735. Now, while he behind sat in the car doing nothing, his the short guy asked me why was he there. I told him who Solomon and he said yes. I told him I was not sure because I figure he go to all sites with them and he said no he doesn't go to all the sites with them. Part2- I will use my SM platform to expose them. After unpacking I found broken class from m entire kitchen set. He takes no accountability. Only 2 showed and he said it would be 3. They also asked personal questions and scoped out my house. The owner still had their cameras up around the home and heard the two way talk amongst them. It was a set up.

I ordered a Uhaul online. I requested some clothes to protect my furniture as well as a dolly. I…read moredid it online so I could pick it up off-hours. I have done this before in other cities and states with no issues. However, this one was not smooth. I didn't receive my dolly or clothes, and the process required that they validate me before releasing the truck. My concern with this is that it means if they do not validate you and you were dropped off at the place, you would end up stranded. What I've dealt with in the past is pre-approval before the day in question such that the actual pickup goes much more smoothly. I would encourage them to consider the process and also make sure to provide people the items they request so their move goes much better.
