The curriculum is…read morefast-paced and can be challenging, but it really prepares you for real-world clinical settings and the board exam. A huge shoutout to our program director, Dr. Vu, who went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared for the NBCOT. You can tell she genuinely cares about her students' success and puts in the effort to guide and support everyone throughout the program. All of my professors also played a big role in my journey. Professor Estoque had this really warm, motherly/older sister kind of energy that made you feel supported and comfortable, especially during stressful times. Professor Hintay had a calm and steady presence that made the class feel grounded. She explained things clearly and helped break down more complex topics in a way that felt manageable. Dr. Lim was kind but pushed us to really understand the material on a deeper level, which made a big difference in our learning. Professor Oh was newer to the program, but you could really see the effort he put into improving and growing as an instructor. Professor Son was fun and funny but she also challenged us in a good way. She held us to a high standard, but it ultimately helped us become more confident and prepared. She took on both roles as our instructor and fieldwork coordinator, and she handled both incredibly well. She was organized, supportive, and played a big role in helping us transition into our clinical experiences. All the professors were knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help when things got tough. You can really feel that they want you to succeed, not just pass. One of the best parts of my experience was the friendships I made and the extra activities we got to be a part of. Whether it was volunteering or just participating in school events, those moments made everything more fun and created memories I'll always carry with me. Overall, I'm grateful for my experience at ACC. Going back to school was one of the best decisions I made, and I feel confident stepping into my career as a COTA because of the foundation I built here.

I can say that I was abled to get the best educational experience because of my instructor Cabantug Noli. Mr. Noli guided me to come out my comfort zone and become the leader I am today. Mr. Noli set example for my peers and I, where we were encouraged to work with one another and elaborate on each other's skills. He created a safe space which allowed us to be ourselves and receive great knowledge on what it takes to be a CNA. I can truly say Mr. Noli is a distinctive instructor that brings not only his respect for students but his kind heart. Thank you NOCROP for allowing such a great instructor be a model for what this program stands for!

I don't even know where to begin when it comes to how amazing everyone at American Fabrication…read moreAcademy is. Luke and his team are incredibly professional instructors who are truly dedicated to bringing out the best in each student. Ladies, if you're feeling a bit intimidated or worried that you'll be treated differently, don't be. The only thing you really need to survive AFA is a sense of humor (that goes for the guys too) I remember sitting in college, debating whether it was the right path for me or if I should take the leap and pursue a trade. I'm beyond glad I did. I have absolutely no regrets about attending AFA. Ralph, Ronnie, Doc, and Kyle not only taught me during my time there, but they continue to teach and support me even after graduation. Whether I need extra practice or advice, before an interview or for a weld test their doors are always open. Luke, Robert, Marcio, and Gus have also been incredibly supportive and instrumental in helping me grow in my welding career. Never in a million years did I think I'd find myself in aerospace, but here I am and I couldn't have done it without the amazing team at AFA. And of course, shoutout to the wonderful ladies in the office, they are always a delight to talk to and often the highlight of my day. Whatever I needed, they were there to help. P.S. Sorry it took me so long to leave a review... I've been busy working at the jobs you guys helped me get!

From day one, the American Fabrication Academy taught me the foundational skills I needed to enter this trade and gave me lifelong mentors I now consider family. Before attending AFA, my only work experience was babysitting. After graduating in March, it took a little time, but by May I had job offers from SpaceX and Anduril Industries at just 19 years old. I'm beyond grateful for how much this school helped me during and even after the program. If you're looking for a trade school that truly cares about your future not just your tuition this is the place. The staff here go above and beyond to set you up for success, and that support doesn't end when you graduate. I want to give a special thank you to all the instructors who were a part of my journey: Luke, Marcio, Kyle, Ronnie, Doc, and David, Robert, as well as Gus, the recruiter, and Silvia at the front desk. Each of them played a role in my growth. They're not only incredibly knowledgeable, but they also know how to keep things fun always joking around, but dead serious when it comes to teaching you the craft and work ethic this industry demands. In my opinion, AFA is the top trade school in California. To this day, I'm still learning from the advice and lessons they gave me things I never got from traditional high school or anyone for that matter. Forever grateful for the family I made at AFA. Thank you for everything. -Christine class #39

The hand on activities were our favorite, like building a tend properly. Both my daughter and I enjoyed the class and learned essential skills that can be used in everyday situations. Highly recommend the class for any age.

I recommend these classes to anybody interested in learning techniques that could save your life in a multitude of situations in a positive environment with instructors that genuinely Love what they are doing. Had some amazing conversations with new friends by the fire pit at night as well. Adult class + camp. Adam (head instructor), Josh and Aiden (the staff I had for my courses) were fantastic with different but complimentary personalities and a wealth of knowledge that naturally engaged everybody. Only criticism is that the website says you can fish...but you won't have time.
