Professor Estoque had this really warm, motherly/older sister kind of energy that made you feel supported and comfortable, especially during stressful times. Professor Hintay had a calm and steady presence that made the class feel grounded. She explained things clearly and helped break down more complex topics in a way that felt manageable. Dr. Lim was kind but pushed us to really understand the material on a deeper level, which made a big difference in our learning. Professor Oh was newer to the program, but you could really see the effort he put into improving and growing as an instructor. Professor Son was fun and funny but she also challenged us in a good way. She held us to a high standard, but it ultimately helped us become more confident and prepared. She took on both roles as our instructor and fieldwork coordinator, and she handled both incredibly well. She was organized, supportive, and played a big role in helping us transition into our clinical experiences. All the professors were knowledgeable, supportive, and always willing to help when things got tough. You can really feel that they want you to succeed, not just pass. One of the best parts of my experience was the friendships I made and the extra activities we got to be a part of. The class sizes were about five people on average. This was nice since you get more attention versus larger size class. They have two instructors teaching these classes. They usually mix it up to switch up with teaching style and scheduling. I enjoyed the two courses I took with them, and so I returned to take the CAC prep exam. I worked with their instructors over three days and had a 1 on 1 session with them for several hours. One of them even stayed over extra hours just to make sure I understood the material. As a result, I passed my CAC exam on my first try. It's pretty easy to say that I couldn't do it without them. I highly recommend this school to others. The only tip I would add is at times to the instructor might get off topic, just remind them here and there and you should be good.

I'm beyond grateful for how much this school helped me during and even after the program. She asked if there was classes for survival. Luckily I found California Survival School. We were fortunate to have Dan as the instructor. He background is quite extensive and impressive. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Although I thought my seven year old would get bored with the lecture portion, Dan kept the group engaged throughout. The hand on activities were our favorite, like building a tend properly. Both my daughter and I enjoyed the class and learned essential skills that can be used in everyday situations.
